"Mr. Grant, this is all the information I’ve found related to Yvette Aston. Please take a look, it’s quite problematic." Christopher Carter handed the investigation documents to Ethan Grant.

Ethan Grant took it and glanced at it. In court, Yvette Aston didn’t defend herself at all, agreeing to whatever the other lawyer said.

Ultimately, she was sentenced to five years for severe extortion.

Ethan Grant frowned. With Yvette Aston’s timid nature, would she really extort Jayden Grant and The Aston Family?

"Can’t find out who the child’s father is?" Ethan Grant frowned as he flipped through the papers.

"It’s precisely because we can’t find out that I advise you not to get involved in this mess. Think about it, would someone like Yvette Aston commit extortion? Obviously, she’s taking the fall for someone. Why hasn’t she revealed the father’s identity by now? I suspect he’s the one who instigated her to extort." Christopher Carter whispered.

"You need to stop reading detective novels." Ethan Grant threw down the documents. "Keep investigating. Is there anything you can’t find?"

"Mr. Grant... there’s a little boy downstairs..." The secretary knocked and whispered. "He... says he’s your son. We’re not sure, so we’ve asked security to handle it."

Christopher Carter was shocked. "Mr. Grant, you have a son?"

Ethan Grant leaned back in his chair, looking darkly at Christopher.

Christopher, eager to save face, quickly changed the subject. "Kids these days are getting clever, figuring out how to come here and find their dad."

"So... should I have security send the kid to the police station?" The secretary glanced at the time. "Mr. Grant, there’s a video conference with M Country in five minutes. Please prepare."

Ethan Grant nodded, stood up to head to the conference room, then asked, "How old is the child? What’s his name?"

"Said to be five years old, named Summers."

Ethan Grant raised an eyebrow, Yvette Aston’s son.

"Have security watch the child, I’ll be down shortly."

The secretary was taken aback. "What about the meeting?"

"Delay it."

Ethan Grant walked indifferently out of the office, quickly headed towards the elevator.

Christopher Carter, shocked, followed. "Mr. Grant, Yvette Aston is quite cunning. Summers is just her little... son, right? She’s at a high level with her tactics, sending a five-year-old to the company to claim a dad!"

To Christopher Carter, Yvette Aston was almost like a sly fox.

This woman has too many schemes, even using her child.

Not afraid of something happening to the five-year-old?

What if something really happens, then what?

But Ethan Grant seemed unfazed, if Yvette Aston wasn’t smart enough, he wouldn’t be interested.

"Smart women are simpler." Ethan Grant spoke calmly.

At least in subsequent dealings, there won’t be too much trouble.
