CHAPTER 16: CH 16

"Haah, haah, haah" breathing heavily, I used all of my efforts to stand up again. Picking up a iron rod from a broken building, I used it as a support to stand up again.

Using it as my left leg which was a few hundred metres away from my body, a made way towards what look like a dead body. I approach it step by step, suppressing the pain in my body which look as slim as the rod in my hand.

Just a side effect of over using regeneration, through it has hit its limit and my body was filled with scratches all over. Let alone my clothes, even my little brother wasn’t spared in this battle but currently, I was numb to all that.

After reaching my destination, I left the hold onto that rod which caused me loose my balance as fall on my only remaining knee.

Looking at the body, I saw a half burned face. There was still a trace of beauty on her other half of face just like her half charcoaled body but it’s not something which can move my cold vampiric heart... even if it was whole.

Her hair were already burned but there was a trace of small blue hairs remaining on her head. Her both arms were gone including all her nano bots, with her remaining dark blue eye, she look at me.

She was pleasing me to leave, but I understand that she want to say something before dying. Taking out my last health flower, I put it on her burned lips... it was just enough to heal them.

"I had fun." She said, with great pain... even though she tried her best not to show it through her voice. "I don’t know what will wish." She continued.

Wish?

"I don’t understand." I said in a cold voice. "I see." She said and closed her remaining eye, as if she understood something. "But you can consider me, if you don’t know what you might want. I ask you, Will you marry me?" Saying so, she never spoke again.

"Was it... fun? It was, I guess?..." I asked myself, and made an unsure answer.

Before I can get an answer for sure, or before I could say anything else, my head become dizzy and before, I know it, I was healed, my almost empty nano bots were full again and... I was back again... to a place where I hasn’t been in years.

"It’s weak." I said looking at my previous body which is still frozen in time, or the one I previously had. Compared to it, I prefer this vampire body which is full of power.

What is ’I’ here? I don’t know, am I the person in front of me or the one who possessed this body or... someone new perhaps?

"I don’t matter, I love the way I am." as I looked towards a wall, I used my heat detection skill, which now consume my blood unlike stamina like with my human varient. "It’s weak too." I said looking at another body.

Oh! Isn’t that the step sister of the body I possessed years ago. Hmm, it’s seems like this place is suspended in time ever since. "Whatever" I thought as I raised my hand towards the wall as nano rifle appeared in it.

My killing intent which I had mastered to the limit of what the current me could achieve leaked towards the little girl but suddenly, the time started again as the girl was able to feel the killing intent I was pointing at her.

It doesn’t change a thing though, as I was still going to shoot her to death but something interrupted again as I felt something pulling me, something so strong that I have no absolute chance to resist it.

Before I know it, I entered inside that weak human body beside me. I don’t even get a chance to even think anything before I felt myself inside that body as I appeared in a dark space, chains appeared on my body and before I know it, my consciousness was gone.

I thought I saw someone else too beside me bound to chains just like me here though... It just look the same as me or Alex... Or this body.

Opening my eyes, I saw that I was still in my room. "Damn! My head hurts." I said as I felt various memories drilling in my mind. "Ahh! It was one hell of an experience." I said as I look at my body.

"Hey system, I am still weak! Where is all that strength I cultivated in that place!! Don’t tell me all I got from it is learning how to use a gun!!" I said clearly irritated.

[Host! All that is currently sealed and will be absorbed slowly. If it was all transferred at a single moment, it is possible that host ’Real’ body might be harmed due to sudden changes.

Even personality can be seriously changed due to different mentality merging suddenly. Of course, host can temporarily release that power in case of emergency, at a price.]

A frown appeared on my face with this information but I calmed down as I understood it is for my benefit only, "Well, nothing is for free I guess, and... I will have all of it in the end anyways." Saying so, I asked system what is the price for the release of that power and soon got an answer.

The door of my room opened with a bang as I pointed my hands towards it in a reflex only to realise that even my nano bots were taken.

’The only thing this body has currently inherited is gun mastery and battle sense.’ With this though, I looked at the one who visited me mid night.

It’s none other than a Loli type poke- *cough*, I mean it’s my little sister. "Ah! Mary. You here?" I said but the girl named Mary doesn’t reply as she ran towards me and hugged my neck, wrapping her legs around my waist.

Her breast, which were not something a girl of her age should have pressed against my chest as she look up with her cat like blue eyes directly in my eye, they were a little teary.

’Am I... a lolicon?’ I asked myself as I felt a beast rising. ’Is this body seriously 16? It’s even bigger than what I have in my previous life!!’
