There are 7 races in the Apocalypse Online games each with their own "Hero" class... It is with this class that he become one of the strongest in the game, get himself a harem of 3 heroine’s (Hero) and was able to replicate the same in the real world.

A person can have only one account in the game and can bound with only one class and one sub class which are then carried back to reality so having a good class is not a choice but a necessity of you want to survive.

The classes just like equipment is divided into four levels which are Legendary being the highest, followed by Epic rank class, then rare and at last common.

Unlike equipment which are needed to be atleast epic rank to be brought to reality, classes doesn’t have such restrictions. All 7 hero classes belongs Legendary rank classes, however only 6 of them appeared in the novel.

Harry doesn’t only have a Legendary hero class, but it was his sub class which gave him an edge over other heroes and Legendary rank holders. The weakness of Legendary class was that you can only have one of them and the huge bounty above thier head.

The large amount of treasure and money which is dropped after thier death and the penalty of losing the class after just three in game death after acquiring the made a huge target of Player Killing.

In the novel, 2 of the Heroes and three another Legendary Class holders were the victims of it losing their class and the biggest asset before the Apocalypse.

They were like treasure in broad day light so they either made groups or join factions so as not to die and it decreased thier level up efficiency.

However, Harry Sub-class gave him the ability to disguise himself perfectly as long as he doesn’t encounter a player with 10 level difference or other legendary class holders, which are just 13 in while game (Total Leg. Classes were 15 as announced by the game. Two were never claimed by anyone.)
