Walter offered a small smile. "I''m currently the lead attorney for the Holden Group''s legal team. Natalie and Mr. Holden asked me to take care of everything on your behalf and to follow up on your personal situation.

"Mr. Walker, everything''s been cleared. You''re free toe with me. While you''re living outside, you must obey thew at all times. If anythinges up, you need to inform me immediately.

"Although you and Natalie had your differences in the past, she told me that you''re still her older brother. All misunderstandings have been resolved, and everything is behind you. You''re still young, and there''s a bright future ahead. She''s willing to reconcile."

Sky''s eyes reddened in an instant. "I thought... I thought she would never forgive me."

"Come, Mr. Walker. Let''s go." Walter took the lead and walked toward the exit.

Sky quickly followed. "Mr. Watson, I know who you are. You were the childhood friend Nat chose from the orphanage, weren''t you? You practically grew up with her."

"It would be best not to use the phrase ''childhood friend'' around Mr. Holden," Walter reminded him.

"Natalie and Mr. Holden are now married. I''m just her good friend and a Holden Group employee. To avoid misunderstandings or unnecessary jealousy, I''d suggest staying away from such wording in the future.

"Like everyone else, I only hope Natalie finds happiness. She and I are the closest of friends. That will never change."

Sky understood the meaning behind Walter''s words and gave a small nod. "I''m sorry. That was poorly phrased. I''m just surprised to see you working at the Holden Group."

"It was Mr. Holden who invited me," Walter said with a slightly helpless smile. Marcus had essentially brought him under his watch, all while showering Natalie with affection in front of him.

But the offer had been too generous to refuse.

Since he and Natalie had no future together, Walter had long since buried any feelings he had for her. Whatever little hope he once had never had the chance to bloom.

    "Come along, Mr. Walker."

The two of them exited the prison. Walter opened the car door and let Sky in.

He was still wearing the ck suit he had on when he first entered the prison. His buzz cut gave him a sharper appearance, cleaner and moreposed than before.

But his entire demeanor had changed. He no longer carried the arrogance he once had. Instead, there was a quiet humility in his presence.

Walter drove him toward the Walker residence.

"Mr. and Mrs. Walker aren''t aware that you''reing home today, so they likely haven''t prepared any sort of wee. I''ll let Natalie know now. She and Mr. Holden are traveling and might not be back for a while," Walter exined as he parked a short distance from the estate gate.

"May I ask, when did Natalie ask you to take over my case?" Sky asked as he looked at the familiar estate in the distance, his eyes already glistening with tears. He had thought she would always resent him, that she would never forgive him.

"It was quite early," Walter said after a brief moment of thought. "I believe it was your third month in prison. She asked me to keep an eye on your case and see how you were doing inside. She wanted to make sure your reform was genuine. That you truly regretted your past.

"Of course, it wasn''t like she could get you released immediately. We''re not miracle workers. If you want to thank someone, thank yourself."

Sky''s eyes grew wet again. He wanted to say something, but in the end, all he did was nod. "Still, thank you. And thank her."

"I''ll give Natalie a call," Walter said, dialing her number. The call was answered quickly.

    "Hello, Walter."

"Natalie, I''ve picked up your brother. We''re near the Walker residence. Would you like me to inform your parents?"

"I''ll call them. They don''t know yet. But once they hear, I''m sure they''ll be happy."

"Alright, I''ll wait for your confirmation. Once you''ve called them, I''ll bring him inside."

    "Okay."

After ending the call, Walter smiled at Sky. "We''ll wait here for a moment."

"Mr. Watson, you''re Nat''s friend. You can just call me by my name."

"Of course, Mr. Walker," Walter replied with a smile.

    Sky didn''t say anything more.

After a short while, Walter''s phone rang again. He picked up. "Hello, Natalie."

"I''ve told my parents. Go ahead and take my brother home."

"Understood." After hanging up, Walter restarted the car. "Let''s get you home, Mr. Walker."

As the car moved along the road, Sky stared out the window, his eyes stinging with tears. His throat tightened, thick with emotion. He wanted to speak, but no words came out.

The closer they got to the Walker residence, the harder it became to control his emotions.

At the gates, the security guard saluted him respectfully. "Wee home, Mr. Sky."

Sky''s eyes brimmed with tears. He nodded, doing his best to keep his expression calm. "Thank you."

Walter drove the car to the main vi. Waiting at the entrance were William and Charlotte. Charlotte held a bouquet in her arms.

"Mr. Walker, we''ve arrived. My task isplete," Walter said as he opened the door for him.

    Sky nodded. "Thank you."

"Wee home, Sky," Charlotte said as she walked up and embraced him.

"Wee back, Mr. Sky. May your days be smooth and peaceful," said Gorge, who stood beside Charlotte.

Charlotte released him and pulled him inside. "Sky, you mustn''t make foolish decisions again. You''re still on parole, so I hope you''ll stay on the right path and be a better man."

"I will. I understand," he replied.

He stepped inside, his eyes red.

"Nat only just called us. We had no idea she''d asked Mr. Watson to follow your case in secret. We weren''t trying to abandon you. We just wanted you to learn your lesson," Charlotte said honestly.

She added, "When someone does wrong, they must face the consequences. That isn''t up for debate. That''s why we sent you to prison. We didn''t shield you. If you need to me someone, me us. We''ll ept it. That is our failure as your parents. It was our failure that allowed you to hurt an innocent girl." "Father, Mother, I don''t me you. I don''t me anyone. I only me myself," Sky said, his voice choked with emotion.

"During all those months in prison, I thought things through. Everything that happened was my fault. I want to atone for my sin. I want to make things right.

"I owe Ms. Sinir more than I can ever repay. Even if I gave her my life, it wouldn''t be enough. I never thought I''d live to see the day I walked free again." As he spoke, the tears he had tried so hard to hold back finally fell.
