CHAPTER 155: THE MEDITATION CLUB

"So, got any idea on what club you want to join?" Janna asked once more.

"Definitely not the student council."

"Haha, I know, right. Lissana is such a bitch. She thinks the world revolves around her. I’ve known her since we were children, and she’s always been like that. Her sister is also a crybaby who doesn’t like it when people tell her that she can’t do something."

"Being spoiled does that to you."

Kai continued to look around to see which club interested him. There was a large variety of them, but he still didn’t find most of them interesting. He was offered to join a ton of clubs, but respectfully declined them all.

As he kept looking around, he found an empty booth with a shy-looking girl who was sitting down in a chair. She looked a bit sad, and her chin was resting in her hands. People didn’t even bother to look at her booth, and when she tried to speak with them, they ignored her.

But that wasn’t all. The girl was cute, but she had a large set of tits. The moment Kai saw her body, he was instantly sold on whatever club that was. Maybe. He still had to see if it was interesting.

He walked close to the booth, looking at it but not saying a word, and wanted to see how the girl would react.

’Someone is here?’ The girl looked up to find the most handsome man she had ever seen in her life checking out the booth. Her heart skipped a beat, and she couldn’t help but stare at him.

"U-Um, excuse me. A-Are you interested in joining our club?"

"Hmm. I’m very intrigued by the concept. Meditation club, huh? Tell me, what do you do there?" He asked

’H-He’s interested? N-No, even if he isn’t, I’m glad he’s asking about it. T-That’s better than being ignored.’

"W-Well, we mostly sit down on comfortable pillows, clear our minds, and meditate. We drown out everything else and focus on ourselves. This also allows for better mana flow, and it can strengthen your mana output. I-It’s not popular because there are better ways to do this, but this club allows you to relax as well."

She tried to sell their club as best as she could and was hoping that he would at least find it cool. He didn’t have to join. She just didn’t want her club to be looked down upon.

Kai nodded. "That’s a great concept. It’s good to clear one’s mind once in a while, so making that a normal practice is very smart. How many members?"

The girl sat up. Seeing that Kai was interested, she made sure not to look as down as she did previously.

"W-We have only 8 members. Including our club supervisor, 9, and if you join, then it would be 10. I know it’s small, but because of the size, we were all able to become close friends."

"What’s the man-to-woman ratio?"

’Dang it! The club is made up of all girls! No way he would want to be in a club with no boys! Nooo!’

"I-It’s made up of all g-girls." She looked down, defeated.

"Sweet, I’ll join. What days do we meet?"

"Sigh, I know that you don’t want to....Wait! Did you say you’ll join?!" She stood up from her chair in shock, slamming her hands on the booth, and her boobs jiggled like crazy.

"Yeah. I like the concept. Sounds nice, cozy, and relaxing. So, am I allowed to join?"

"Yes! Absolutely yes! Here, this is the room number and key to enter!" She brushed her bracelet against Kai’s own, and after a beeping sound, the room number appeared in his bracelet with the key to the room.

"We meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. But this Monday, I mean not today. It’s choose your club day, so our first meeting for this school year starts this Wednesday. So in two days. D-Don’t be late! P-Please."

"Hahaha! Don’t worry, I’ll be on time. What’s your name?"

"M-Mia. And you?"

"Kai. Nice to meet you, Mia. I hope we can become good friends."

"M-Me too."

Kai nodded and walked away.

Mia instantly took down her booth, not caring if other people joined, and ran to her club room to inform her club members about what had happened.

’Heh, I found a great club. Fuck meditation, I’ll be using that club as a place to have as much sex as I want. I’m so fucking awesome.’ Kai smirked and headed to his next class.

"Shit! I need to choose another class!"

He ran out of the auditorium and back into the hall where the classes were shown. Lots of classes had already reached capacity, which only left some boring ones, like alchemy, plantology, and horseback riding.

"Wow, horseback riding is a class here? That’s pretty cool. Well, I guess I have no choice but to choose some of these classes. I’ll go with alchemy since there’s nothing wrong with learning how to brew potions and shit. That will be my evening class. As for my night class, ohhh, do they have swimming? I love swimming! Hmm, nope, no swimming. But they do have monster hunting. But that’s like adventuring work. Meh, easy points. I’ll take it."

"Hurry up, dude! We’re gonna be late!"

"Shut up! I know!"

"This duel better be epic!"

"Who’s fighting again?"

"It’s Jason and that hot elf chick who came with that boy, all the girls are infatuated with."
