CHAPTER 416: REWIND TIME

"I’m just letting you know that I had nothing to do with this. I still want to join you." Karumi stepped to his side, turning into a fox, and jumped on his shoulders.

"What’s going on? Do you guys not think I’m cool anymore or something?" Kai was honestly heartbroken and didn’t want to continue without them. He liked travelling with his girls. It made him extremely happy.

"Well, to be honest, we’re kind of burnt out." Gwen sighed.

"Yeah. Trust me, I still want to go on an adventure with you, but sometimes, I want some time off." Amaya’s ears fell flat, showing that she felt bad for not wanting to continue with Kai.

"Yup, I agree." That’s all Sasha had to say.

"I want to go visit my family in the elven forest. I haven’t seen them in a bit." Kyana smiled.

"Also, our other sisters asked us to help them take care of the children. And frankly, we really wanna spend some time with them as well." Nadya spoke.

"Oh. I see. Well, this is my fault. I failed to take into account your feelings when going on this adventure." Kai didn’t know what to do anymore. Should he stay as well? He also wanted to see his daughters, and he would always visit them in his downtime.

Still, his longing for adventure was very much active, and he wanted to go to the next continent.

"No, Kai, you don’t have to put your plans on pause for us." Gwen reassured him that this wasn’t his fault.

"We just don’t have that divine mental capacity as you do. And Karumi wasn’t with us for that long, so it makes sense that she’s not burnt out."

"You sure?" Kai asked

"Positive."

"Okay." Kai, still slightly down, decided to go to sleep early to heal his sadness.

The next day, after waking up, Kai and his girls said goodbye to everyone there. He went to Tamra, Temera, and Temara, set them up with everything they would need, and made sure they were taken care of just like his other girls.

After that, he teleported everyone to his mansion back in Vaudrille.

Everyone welcomed him with open arms, hugs, kisses, and lots of love. Kai was especially happy that he got to hug all ten of his daughters.

"Dada, up!"

"Uppies!"

"Ahh! My heart! The cuteness is too much to handle!" Kai made all ten of them float in the air. They weren’t even four months old yet, and they were already walking and speaking. The divine blood running through their bodies was really something else.

There were still around a solid 3 to 4 more months until the rest of his girls that he impregnated a little bit after leaving Sarkylla to go to Eridani gave birth.

After that, it would be the ones he impregnated recently.

Kai decided to spend an entire month with his family, doing family things, having fun, and enjoying each other. No sex, surprisingly. Kai was in complete dad mode.

He allowed all of his women to have fun and do whatever they wanted while he took on the responsibility of parenting their children.

Though when they saw him take their daughters on a hunting trip where he slayed a dragon, which his daughters loved, they banned him from taking them out without supervision.

"Dragon!"

"Daraggies!"

"Daddy!"

"Look at them! They want to slay dragons with me!" Kai argued with Martha.

"No! Do you know how dangerous that was?" Even though she had a small frame, Martha was extremely protective when it came to their children.

"But they were all in barriers. I made sure they wouldn’t get hurt. I wouldn’t let any of you get hurt, so do you think I’d let my daughters hurt?"

"I don’t want to hear it from you. Go face that corner and think about your decisions."

"Mommy bad! Daddy fun!" Their daughter cried.

"Yes! That’s right! Mommy is bad. Say ’rawr’, sweetie."

"Rar!"

Kai passed out from the cuteness.

A few days later, he was sitting down in his classroom with all of his daughters facing him.

"Okay, class. Listen up. To use magic, you have to channel that power from within. When you do, guide it up your body, then BOOM, magic!" Kai created a fireball in his hand.

"Daddy is cool!"

"Again!"

"Fufu, thank you, thank you." Anyway, you all give it a shot."

All of his daughters tried to use magic, and surprisingly, it worked. Kai was honestly teaching them for jokes, but he never expected them to catch on so quickly.

"W-What? Huh? How! Are they geniuses?!"

"It’s their divine blood," Cassie said as she was sitting in a chair next to him. "They’ll pick up on things easier than normal, a lot easier."

"Wow. I thought that only extended to walking, talking, and mental development. Ha, Kassandra is gonna go crazy when she learns that our daughters can use magic!"

Unfortunately, Kai regretted his actions soon after teaching his daughters magic.

When it was time to put them to bed, Kassandra was blasted in the face with a fireball. While she wasn’t hurt, she was so shocked that she just held her daughter in her arms and looked at her with a serious but confused expression.

She asked how she knew how to use magic, and their innocent daughter ratted Kai out.

So, it was safe to say that Kai went on a time-out again. But the worst part about all of this was that everyone else celebrated them being able to use magic and even got a cake.

Leo wouldn’t stop making fun of him for being on time-out, either.

A few days after that, Kai and Karumi were heading off to the other continent.

"Daddy is going to miss you all. It’s okay, you don’t need to cry." Kai said while crying.

"Bye, daddy."

"Love you, Daddy."

None of his daughters was crying for him, which hurt Kai on the inside. Instead, they were fascinated with their ability to use magic and wanted to focus on that.

"Well, I guess that’s okay." Kai kissed everyone, besides Leo, goodbye, then flew in the direction of the new continent.
