CHAPTER 510: MORNING DUTIES

"Your heart rate has been elevated for quite some time. Orchid said not to worry about it. What caused this?" I heard before opening my eyes. Upon opening them, Nerissa was looking down at me from the edge of my bed.

"Good morning." I said before sitting up, with great difficulty thanks to the Orchid clinging onto me." Nerissa didn’t seem to care about morning rituals, she wanted answers. "I believe by your appendages’ growth and consistent hardness for the last two hours that the reason for your heart rate was something titillating? Was it perhaps a sexually charged lucid dream?"

I stood up and stretched, not bothered that my junior was standing at attention. "Nah, It wasn’t a dream, I was having sex with Kat." I said nonchalantly before walking over to the minibar that by the looks of things, it had been raided by Onyx.

"Explain? I understand you frequently engage in Psionic entanglements with those close to you, but how are you doing it from wherever Kathrine is? Or is she within your Mindspace at all times as well now? No, that wouldn’t make sense..."

There was a slight pause before I replied. "Jeez! Four hundred credits for a cookie? That is a fucking scam and a half." I said, before opening the cookie packet. "Oh yeah!" I followed up having taken a great big bite out of the cookie.

Nerissa wanted answers and was about to ask again when I finally got to the topic at hand. "Kat and I have done something bizarre, basically she can somehow bypass my Psionic defences and enter my Mindspace at will and no before you ask, I am not worried about my safety, everyone that has permission to enter my Mindspace I trust with my life. If they want to take it, they are in their right to. Not that they would. Hungry?" I said and outstretched another cookie.

Nerissa stared blankly at the outstretched cookie for a moment. She was in serious trouble. There was just too much stuff this human did that left her with so many questions, her intrigue was threatening to rupture her head.

As a compromise, to compensate for the rest of the day, Nerissa simply took the cookie and asked. "So, how long does it take for your excitement to go down?" She asked and pointed to my junk before placing the cookie in her mouth.

Looking down I hastily replied. "Oh, right. The junior is used to morning company, it’s probably confused why its not being hugged yet. Don’t worry , it will go down soon." Nerissa smiled at the sincerity of my words. "I am not worried, it doesn’t offend me in any way. I was more concerned for you as your appendage is rather large and I assume it would hurt. If you need to take care of it, I won’t mind. I will just tend to my armour."

"Oh, no that wont be-" I started before Onyx cut in. "-Very considerate of you Nerissa. Come Apollo, let’s get you satisfied." She said, pulling my buddy with enough force to prove she was serious about a painful tug if needed.

Nerissa watched Apollo get pulled by his leash for a moment before simply getting her armour ready for the moon’s more tropical climate.

Janine woke up groggily. It took a moment for her brain to register where she was, but when it did the usual sleepiness she had after waking up vanished. She was actually here! At the Spartari College of Psionics with her best friend! Life was good.

She got out of bed and dressed hastily, she was eager for the day, even though she expected it would just be mostly waiting around for enrollment to finish up. "As she entered the room with everyone else she greeted jovially.

"Good morning everyone! How was your sle... And now I am blind." Janine said as she began to blush like crazy, as she just witnessed Apollo shower Onyx with his foam.

I suddenly looked in the direction of Janine and immediately apologised. "Oh, whoops. Sorry Janine, I didn’t expect you to wake up yet. Onyx will you stop, I already finished." I exclaimed to the vacuum below me.

Orchid then stirred by the commotion and immediately began sniffing and before I could blink, she had made her way over and began cleaning up Onyx’s face with her fingers. The party being cleaned did not take well to this and vanished, she was not going to be sharing her treat with anyone.

Orchid then looked at my naked form and gulped, but I shook my head. To which she just went back to the bed and sat down sulkily. A silence permeated throughout the room for a moment before I decided. "Right, well I am going to use the communal showers I saw last night. I’ll let you ladies get ready.

I then used my telekinesis to reach out across the room to a towel that was hung up on a hook before wrapping it around me. I then opened the private room door and began whistling a catchy tune as I made my way.

"So... I have to ask, Orchid, are mornings going to be like that often while living with you? Because if that is the case, I am going to have to make preparations." Janine asked, causing Orchid to frown at the blue one. "Preparations?"

Janine gulped before finding ground to fall on. "Yes, preparations, you know? Setting us timers and stuff and waiting for when your business will be done etcetera. You don’t want me walking in every time things get rowdy do you?"

Orchid then looked at the green one, then back at the blue one before shrugging her shoulders. "I don’t care, just don’t get in the way. I am possessive when it’s my turn." She then cricked her neck in disgust. She hated not using her name to address herself.

"Curious. You all seem to garner great possessiveness for Apollo, yet still share him equally in the bedroom. In all honesty, the way his harem is set up, I wouldn’t be surprised if you had all killed each other by now. What prevents this? Surely if one perished? More opportunities would be yours to have, no?"

Orchid looked at the green one again. Apollo trusted it for some reason beyond her comprehension. She just saw prey at the end of everything, still if Apollo trusted her, she was tolerable to speak to.

" Not necessarily. Apollo is the perfect lover and we are not shy about sharing him between ourselves. Also, I have thought about killing every single thing that has dared to even look in Apollo’s direction and unbeknownst to him, done so with a few voracious onlookers, but I will not those he is close to. That would hurt Apollo... That would hurt me to see him hurt. I couldn’t bear that. We couldn’t bear that"

Nerissa glossed over the fact that Orchid had confessed to murder and simply stated. "I see. It is his love for you all and your love for him that keeps everything harmonious. I wonder if there would ever be something that could break that harmony?" Nerissa simply stated, causing Janine to almost piss herself as Orchid started laughing.

’Orchid never laughs.’ It was like a bad omen had just been brought into the room. After Orchid giggled at the imbecilic green one, she explained herself. "Nothing and No one can break what we have. Any that would try would see the futility of it quickly."

"We? You have spoken for all of you multiple times, do you truly speak for all those Apollo shares bed with?" Nerissa commented, prompting Orchid to go silent as her eyes narrowed. "We shouldn’t speak without Apollo present. You ask too many questions."

A soft smile crept onto Nerissa’s face. "Very well, Orchid. Janine, where are you going?" Nerissa then turned towards the door and smiled towards the Sepiida. "Yeah, you two are way too scary for me to be in a room alone with, I am going to go and do my fake job and wash Apollo as it’s the better alternative."

After Janine left, the room fell silent once more. Orchid and Nerissa exchanged gazes for a moment before the two got on to the tasks at hand. Nerissa tinkering on her ancient equipment. Almost microscopic tweaks here and there to fix faults that had not even occurred yet. While Orchid lay back down and began thinking about Apollo and how they were going to have sex at some point and how at another point she will finally have his offspring and how at some point they will eat this entire galaxy and how at some point...

"I’m walking on sunshine! Woaah! Im walking on Sunhiii-Woah dude! No touching, I ’aint about that!" I exclaimed in panic and was about to push the extra friendly guy that just touched my but, but instead I was greeted to a bubbly blue delight that had a smile on her face. Just as I was about to express my shock that she was here, she leaned in and whispered.

"D-don’t think anything of this, I am just performing my ’duties.’ Now turn around and let me wash your back."
