The hivemind is conquering for me?

CHAPTER 532: "IT’S LIKE A STORY"
Aeletha ended the communication and sat back, a smirk resting upon her face. ’I enjoyed that.’ She thought to herself earnestly. She did not know what to expect for her and Archon Apollo’s first ’real’ interaction, but she did not expect something so... Low stakes.
No life or death, no political plot, no asking for asylum, just a simple conversation. One person helping out another. The thought left a pleasant feeling within her stomach. He knew she had the powers of a godly entity, yet still treated her so casually?
She had to admit, there was something alluring about that, and that was not pushed onto her by her visions, she truly felt that way. And his second request... She thought the first one to be an icebreaker of sorts, to ease her up for the second after she offered, but no. He didn’t ask something for himself, but for a friend of his. Something so trivial to her at that... It was admirable.
For saving her life, Aeletha technically had a life debt to pay. Something the Starforged took seriously, but she could tell from the human that he really didn’t care. The nonchalance of saving one of your sworn enemies from a battlefield was... Stimulating.
Aeletha bit her lower lip slightly at the thought before an ice bucket was thrown all over her thoughts. "I forgot to ask him about the war!" Her palm smacked her forehead. The discussion they were having was so light and menial that higher discussion slipped her mind.
She then moved her dishevelled hair and manipulated it between her horns. She felt a tingling sensation within her stomach as her mind wondered about tomorrow. She had made contact with her saviour, her Archon. And he was inclined to continue to do so? Aeletha would take advantage of this. Starting with fulfilling his trivial request. It was literally the least she could do.
As the thought welled up within her, the door to her office opened and Rekosh walked in. Instantly, her mood soured as she was brought out of her little fantasy land. "Speak Rekosh." She said in a more hostile tone than usual, causing Rekosh to bow his head to the floor. "My Seer, Cor’voth of the Plipit, has awoken from his coma. You are expected to visit him."
Aeletha closed her eyes, her lack of vision unchanged by the action as she took a deep breath. "Fine. He is lucky I have to go to Calnivis anyway as I have to go to the Archive of lost species."
"The Archive? My lady, why would you wish to visit such a depressing place?" Rekosh blurted out, causing Aeletha to frown. "My Reasons are my own Rekosh, do not forget that. If I choose to go to the Archive, I can very well go to the Archive, are we clear?"
Rekosh nodded his head in affirmation, but from her Psionic senses, she could tell that he was looking away with a concerned look upon his face. "Speak your mind, Rekosh. Your job is not one that can have the luxury of doubt clouding their minds."
Rekosh opened his maw, shocked for a moment, before finding the courage to speak his mind. "My Seer, are you ok?" Aeletha’s eyebrow raised curiously. "Why would you ask this Rekosh?" She asked, but her curiosity turned into a frown as she knew what Rekosh said before he said it.
"My Seer, as you know the doors are not soundproof, I heard you... Cackling evilly through the doors. I assumed that..." Rekosh was interrupted. "That I have thought of something evil or I have lost my mind? You overstep Rekosh. I am actually saddened by the fact you did not take into consideration the fact I actually found something amusing, hence my ’Cackle’ as you so rudely put it."
Rekosh felt his blood stop pumping. He had messed up and he knew it... "My Seer, I-" "-Go and ready our fastest ship, we need to be on Calnivis by tomorrow and do not bother with escorts, we won’t need them."
Rekosh simply gave affirmation before running off, leaving Aeletha alone again. "Evil cackle... The nerve. My laugh is soft and adorable. Just because I have not had a proper laugh in sometime, it doesn’t mean it is a cause for terror..." She murmured to herself.
Left alone again, her emotions began to rise and she could feel the vision of her possible future knocking on the edge of her mind. She had to act now, drink her tea and prepare for her journey before she gets... Distracted again.
...
"Zircon, can you find a belt you would like to be strapped on please? I really should have asked one of them to stay behind." I said loudly. I had my advantages and disadvantages in this life, but I still could not dress myself for shit. Everything paired together wrong when I tried to look ’cool’ so I just wore simple black pants, a white t-shirt with a black tie and my black jacket with the purple accents that I always wear. With my hair naturally parted and brushed to the side, it was one of the only outfits I knew I could make myself and look good in. As it was basic.
As I looked at myself in the mirror I frowned. ’I’m going to miss Keyla, My ass feels weird getting dressed without its bite tax...’ I lamented over not being able to see my cute murder hobo for sometime to come before Zircon floated over in her scabbard that had attached itself to a nice black belt.
"Ah my Second Queen really knows her accessories. Good job sweetums." I said, causing Zircon to begin vibrating like crazy, clearly having enjoyed my praise. With the belt on, I looked into the mirror on the wall and gave myself a head nod of appreciation. "Not too bad if I do say so myself." I said, giving myself a little ego boost before leaving to meet up with the others.
As I was walking towards where the bar was located, I noticed that the grounds were a lot more lively than they were earlier. Lectures for those already attending must have finished and stuff as the place was choc full of those coming and going from place to place.
I felt slightly at home in this chaos. People rushing with a purpose to where they were going next, often silently when alone. It was like a watered down feeling of being with the hive. As I was walking around, I saw a pair of neon green eyes sitting underneath a tree that were looking towards me that proceeded to hastily look away after being spotted. Noticing who the eyes were attached to, I smiled and walked over to where she was sat, reading one of her comic books.
"Hey Evanthe, how are you?" I said politely. Evanthe’s eyes widened before looking up at me, towering over her sitting form. She hastily got up to her feet and still her eyes went wide at noticing the height gap between them. "H-Hi Apollo, I can’t believe you remembered my name."
I looked down at the woman who appeared to be roughly two feet smaller than I was and laughed softly. "If you think I would forget the name of the woman with those stunning eyes so soon ,you are mistaken. How has your day been? I noticed someone else running the Psionic gun stand earlier today."
Evanthe looked up, shocked that he had checked for her. "I-I had my Psionic control class. Other than making bullets for my gun, my powers need a lot of concentration and I struggle. I can’t afford to miss a class. Sorry."
I furrowed my brows, confused. "Why are you sorry?" Evanthe then looked up at me again before once again quickly subverting her gaze. "I-uh-I’m not sure, it just felt like what I was supposed to say to you. Sorry, I’ll just-"
"-Hey, I’m going to a bar with my friends to get something to eat, do you want to join us?" I asked, a kind smile plastered across my face.
Evanthe felt her throat run away from her body. She couldn’t breathe. Her eyes were darting across the body of the man in front of her as her mind began to race. ’Is this really happening? It’s like a story from one of my books! If he says, "sure, the more the merrier." If I ask him really, I am going to freak out!’
"R-Really? You want me to come with you?" She asked, causing me to nod my head. "Sure, the more the merrier, right? It would give us a chance to get to know each other in a more informal setting and you would be with other people as well, having a few drinks for some social lubricant. Come on, what do you say?"
Despite Evanthe thinking what she just thought, she didn’t actually expect it to happen. Her heart started to beat rapidly, drumming in her ears. She did not believe real life could end up anything like her comics. She forgot to breathe for a moment until her body automatically spoke for her, catching even herself off guard.
"That sounds like a delight! I would like it very much to meet your friends and get to know you all!"
