Lu Lan told the owner their orders and then took Lin Xiaoyan to sit at a table, while Xiao Bo got up to order food.

The three of them sat by the door, with Lu Lan and Lin Xiaoyan sitting on one side, their backs to the entrance.

Xiao Bo sat opposite them, facing the entrance.

While waiting for their meal, Lin Xiaoyan checked her phone and saw a message from her brother that had just come in.

Salary is coming tomorrow!

Lin Xiaoyan glanced at the date. Indeed.
