They quickly made their way to the carriage, with the guards surrounding them.

As they reached the carriage, Ellaria looked at the marshall.

Marshall smiled. "Don’t worry, Your Majesty. I will be fine. Go now, the priest is waiting for you."

Ellaria nodded her head and got into the carriage.

The carriage started moving, with the guards running alongside it.

As they reached the church, Ellaria could see the head priest waiting for her.

The priest was an old man with a long white beard and a staff in his hand.

"Your Majesty, please hurry. The enemies are already here." The priest said.

Ellaria quickly got out of the carriage and followed the priest into the church.

As they entered the church, Ellaria could see a secret door behind the altar.

The priest opened the door and gestured for Ellaria to enter.

"Your Majesty, please go inside. I will hide you here. Don’t worry, you will be safe." The priest said.

Ellaria nodded her head and entered the secret room.

As she entered, the priest closed the door behind her.

Ellaria found herself in a small room with no windows and it was dark.

She summoned a small light orb with magic.

There was a small bed in the corner and a table with a candle on it.

She sat down on the bed and waited.

After a while, she heard the sounds of battle outside.

She could hear the screams of people and the clash of swords.

Ellaria covered her ears with her hands, trying to block out the sounds.

She couldn’t bear to hear the sounds of her people dying.

After what seemed like hours, the sounds of battle finally died down.

Ellaria uncovered her ears and waited.

After a while, she heard footsteps outside the door.

The door opened and the priest entered.

"Your Majesty, it’s safe now. You can come out." The priest said.

Ellaria quickly got up and followed the priest out of the room.

As they entered the church, Ellaria could see that it was in ruins.

The walls were broken and there were bodies lying everywhere.

"What happened?" She asked the priest.

"The enemies attacked the church. They were looking for you. But don’t worry, we hid you well." The priest replied.

Ellaria looked at the bodies and saw that they were all priests and nuns.

"They died protecting me?" She asked.
