Everyone here is tight-lipped about Yu Zexiao’s real residence. So much so that Cheng Tingting truly believed that such a large and luxuriously decorated villa was really Yu Zexiao’s house!

She wasn’t actually a TV station employee, nor did anyone really bother her about arranging lines or preparing photography and filming. Cheng Tingting was happily idle, able to have more time to pester Yu Zexiao. But before she could say anything, on the other side, Yu Zexiao was called over by Nie Anni: “Zero! There’s a note here that’s a bit off, could you come and see how it should fit better?”

By the way, although Yu Zexiao originally couldn’t get along with Nie Anni at all, they’ve been getting along a bit more harmoniously lately.

Perhaps it’s because both are now in the same boat—being bullied by the dance team. And Nie Anni definitely suffers more than Yu Zexiao. Yu Zexiao had at least been going to the gym and had danced for performances and album productions before. But Nie Anni had only learned ballet before high school and hadn’t danced in almost ten years. The American team focused on high-energy dance, making her sore all over.

However, due to collaborating in dance rehearsals, the two had become quite “united” with a common enemy. They were too exhausted to even eat daily, what mood would they have to quarrel? Because of this, they got along much better, so when Nie Anni called him over to prepare, Yu Zexiao went over without saying a word.

Cheng Tingting felt cast aside and was somewhat angry. She had previously misunderstood, thinking Yu Zexiao and Nie Anni were really involved. Seeing Yu Zexiao, who paid no mind to others but followed Nie Anni’s words, she instantly “confirmed” their relationship!

So she turned and walked toward the American dance team, greeting them in fluent American English: “Hi.”

The team had more men, and Americans are naturally cheerful, so upon seeing a beauty approaching, they naturally whistled and greeted her with smiles.

Cheng Tingting approached, understanding that although the team seemed cheerful and open, they were still seasoned in the entertainment industry. Asking too pointedly, they certainly wouldn’t answer. Thus, she merely smiled and asked, “Is Zero and Anne (Nie Anni)’s dance practice tiring?”

The team leader, a black man with black tattoos on his strong arms, smiled: “Of course it is. Zero is a man, quite gifted, and in very good shape. Anne has it tougher.”

Cheng Tingting smiled: “Then after dance practice, do they still go to the music room together to create songs as they’re doing now?”

The team leader shrugged: “Certainly. Once dance rehearsals are done, Zero and Anne have to compose tracks. Sometimes in the middle of rehearsals, inspiration strikes and they go together. But we fully support their work—if they don’t write good songs, we can’t choreograph our dances!”

“Oh, I see, thank you.” Cheng Tingting smiled and turned, her eyes full of gloom.
