CHAPTER 341: SOFT BREEZE

Caius stood up from the long chair. He looked imposing, his apparel made it even clearer that she was standing in front of the crown prince. Rose squirmed under his gaze at her flimsy outfit, a stark contrast to his royal look.

He moved forward closing the gap between them. Rose fought not to move as the crown prince stepped into her personal space, his eyes taking in her body like a predator sizing up his prey. There was not a single hesitation in his body language, not one. Every movement told her she was going to be devoured tonight.

As she stepped closer his scent filled her nose, but it was the look in his eyes that held her captive. Rose swallowed to ease her dry throat. She was used to his stares, but tonight it felt particularly intimidating.

He stopped right in front of her until his gaze was right over hers and Rose’s face was nearly against his chest. Only a sliver of space was between them. Rose breath bounced off his chest, she could almost hear his heartbeat or was that hers ringing at the back of her head.

She was nervous, anxious and there was a weird feeling, she refused to acknowledge. It resembled excitement but Rose was convinced that she was so anxious she was confused about the emotions she felt.

Caius lifted his hand and reached for her breasts. He lightly grabbed one, and Rose did her best not to make a sound. However, it was hard not to when she had not been touched so intimately in quite some time. The feel of another skin against hers, alas it was just as she remembered.

Caius bent his head to her shoulder, lightly kissing her ear as his hand caressed her chest, taking one breast and then the other as he trailed kisses down her neck. Rose didn’t like how quickly her body was reacting to his touch, especially when she instinctively tilted her head to the side to give him better access.

Caius smiled against her neck and tweaked a nipple through her chemise. Rose jumped at the sudden sensation, a moan escaping her lips. He seemed to enjoy her reaction as his actions became even more intense.

Caius pulled his head back, standing to his full height, and he grabbed her rear, squeezing as he pressed her against himself. He smirked as she reacted, her eyes widening.

"Don’t be frightened now," he said with glee. "As we’ve found, it fits just right."

There was a raspy tone at the end of his voice. Rose didn’t miss this and she couldn’t help but revel in the fact that she affected him.

"Take the rest of your clothes off," he ordered

Caius sounded impatient, and from his tone, she could tell he was incredibly aroused. Rose knew it would be in her best interest to do as he wished.

She nodded and took a step back. She lifted her chemise, taking as much time as she could without trying his patience. After tossing it aside, Rose heard a sharp intake of breath.

Caius stood over her with a dazed look on his face as he stared intently. The only thing missing from his expression was drool running down the side of his face as he stared at her like the perfect meal.

Rose gripped the last piece of her underwear and started to slip it down her waist, but she didn’t make it far before she felt his hands on her soft center. Rose jerked at the contrast between her warmth and his cold fingers, but that wasn’t the only concerning thing.

When had she started to get aroused? Rose was unsure. Was it the kiss? Or perhaps before that?

Caius, very satisfied with his find, slipped a finger inside, and Rose crumpled against him, her mouth sealed tightly to keep from letting out any sounds.

He pulled his finger out and pushed it back in. Rose jerked, grabbing onto him for dear life. Her stomach tightened, but it was nothing compared to the feeling between her legs.

"The way you yield beneath my touch drives me to madness," Caius said as he withdrew his hand.

Rose didn’t even get a chance to react. One moment she was hanging onto Caius, barely able to stand; the next, she was on the carpet, his lips pressed against hers and his erection pressing between her legs.

Rose groaned at the pressure. Caius’s hands moved to her breasts, teasing them, lightly touching and squeezing. Every movement he made sent pleasure through her body.

Caius was still clothed while she had nothing on, and as always, she was the one squirming at the slightest touch. He reached between them, his hands on his fly as he freed the monster it held back.

Caius had originally wanted to take his time; it had been a long time. He wanted to savour it, to drag it out as long as possible, but more than anything, he wanted to have her at the mercy of his hands, begging him to take her. But all that flew out the window when he touched her. All Caius could think about was how deep he wanted to be buried in her warmth when she was so wet for him.

Caius pushed his manhood in, and it felt as though the world stopped, all sensation concentrated at the point where they joined. Rose moaned underneath him, breaking the kiss as she let out a sound that came from her core.

She squirmed, moving her legs as he buried himself deeper. He heard the sound of the chessboard crashing as it fell over, but Caius paid it no mind; he was in too much bliss to notice.

Caius pulled out and thrust in, his face tight with concentration as he moved. Every time he pulled back, her slick walls clung to him, trying to draw him back in. Caius swore, grunting with the effort.

Rose squirmed underneath him, her reluctance quickly turning into heightened pleasure. She no longer fought her moans as her face displayed earnest desire.

Caius’s thrusts didn’t slow down, and Rose gasped with every movement, clinging to the carpet. Suddenly, her arms wrapped around him and she moaned, "Ohh, Your Majesty."

Caius felt something snap, and whatever self-control he had left dissipated. His thrusts became even harder, and Rose could barely keep up as her back scraped against the rough carpet. However, none of that registered as every part of her body tingled, drawing her closer and closer to the edge.

Rose’s body burned; that delicious feeling was spreading to every corner, and she instinctively rode the wave. She wrapped her arms around Caius, digging her nails into his back as an intense climax ripped through her.

She buried her face in his neck, moaning in the aftermath. Caius grunted against her, pressing deeper into her. She could tell he was close, too. His movements sped up, and he let out a final, louder grunt before he stilled.

---

Rose frowned as she woke up. It felt tight and uncomfortable. The bed also felt too hard. She wouldn’t have cared if she were home, as this was no different from sleeping on her own bed, but she knew she wasn’t home. She couldn’t be.

Her eyes flew open, and the first thing she saw was the fireplace. It was surprisingly still alight, but the wood needed a slight adjustment as the part closest to the fire had burnt away. The next thing she saw was a pawn lying on the carpet, and then the king piece.

Rose realized she was staring at the chess pieces that had fallen off the board. This also told her she was on the floor of the crown prince’s room. However, something else was increasingly obvious: something tight was wrapped around her.

Rose realized she could hear the steady breathing of someone dangerously close to her ear, but that wasn’t the only thing; there was skin pressed against her back. She looked down and immediately realized her position.

The crown prince was asleep behind her, his arms tightly wrapped around her. It certainly explained why she wasn’t freezing to death while sleeping naked on the floor in winter.

Rose frowned as she tried to recall her last memories, but they didn’t explain why she was in this position with the crown prince. She wanted to get out of his clutches, but she was worried that any sudden movement might wake him.

With how tightly he was wrapped around her, she doubted she could even breathe without him knowing; getting out of his arms without waking him was a feat she was not sure she could accomplish.

Rose sighed, giving up the urge to try to escape. She still felt very sleepy and would rather return to sleep than deal with waking the crown prince. She winced as she closed her eyes; she still felt a little sore, but it didn’t bother her as much as the feeling that this wasn’t so bad.

Rose blamed it on her sleepiness; she probably needed more rest. So she closed her eyes and did just that. Her sleep wasn’t without dreams, but surprisingly, it was calm, and Caius’s steady breathing behind her ear sounded like a soft breeze against the waves.
