CHAPTER 95: LIMIT OVERLOAD VS VIKASA

"Haha! Nice. Get ready then." Navajo channeled mana into his sword as numerous small runic circles appeared on the ground.

Sand burst out like a fountain from the circles. Navajo swung his sword in the air as the sand moved in the direction of the sword swing. He kept moving his sword around as he kept moving his arms and body along with it. To the onlookers it felt like he was dancing with his sword on the platform.

The sand kept tossing and turning as more and more sand collected and slowly it almost filled one third of the platform. Finally, after making one last turn with his sword, he thrust the sword forward in the air towards Luke.

The sand immediately moved forward, it rose high in the air as it rushed at Luke like a huge wave of tsunami.

Prana started collecting in Luke’s palms. He stretched his arms back wide, bent his knee and leaned forward as he brought both his arms swinging forward and with his arms parallel to the floor, his palms clapped.

A resounding sound of his palms clapping spread out and a shockwave of prana rushed out of his palms at breakneck speed. When the shockwave hit the sand tsunami. A huge hole appeared in it, blasting all the sand away in the path of the shockwave.

But just then a brown sword energy arc zoomed out of the hole in the sand wave and appeared in front of Luke in an instant. He couldn’t react in time as he never expected an attack to follow right after the sand wave.

Luke couldn’t react in time and the attack struck him directly as he was pushed back and fell on the floor, bouncing a few times before lying flat on his stomach.

"LUKE!" Anna jumped up screaming from her seat. She was ready to jump in anytime to stop the fight. But just then Luke stood up.

His tunic was torn as a slash mark could be seen from his left chest to his right waist. Blood oozed out from the cut, dying part of his tunic red.

He clenched his fists tight as prana rushed to the gauntlets. He started walking forward with slow strides, and just after a few steps, he vanished from his spot.

Navajo’s eyes opened wide. He instantly lifted his sword up in front. A blazing fist struck right on the center of the sword. the force behind the hit was so much that the sword touched his body and pushed him back, blasting away to the distance along with it.

Luke stood tall on the spot Navajo was earlier. His face cold and expressionless. Dust rose in the air as Navajo scrapped along the ground while flying back.

"VIKASA!"

A pillar of brown mana erupted from behind the cloud of dust. Wind gushed outwards removing the dust, revealing Navajo standing within the pillar of mana in his spirit form.

A sand armor covered his whole body and a crown made of sand rested atop his head. a chain made of sand covered in mana was attached to his sword hilt and the rest of the chain wrapped around his arm.

"Let’s get this over with then.....Limit overload."

The two limiter rings appeared behind Luke. his hair transformed into amber fire with red strands of flame in between. Amber and red fire blazed bright over his gauntlets.

For the first time during the fight, Argon’s face went serious, his laughs and smiles vanished altogether. His brows creased as he looked at Luke and his limiter form.

Mana passed from the chain and covered the whole sword as Navajo started spinning his sword through the chain. It kept spinning faster and faster, such that the sword couldn’t be seen anymore and only a shining trail was there.

He released the chain towards Luke as the spinning blade rushed towards his direction, tiles and rocks flying around as it dug a trail on the concrete floor.

Luke stood motionless, his face calm in front of the approaching spinning blade. Just when it reached near, he lifted his hand forward, he spread his palm wide and curled the fingers.

CLANG!

The blade stopped abruptly caught within Luke’s palm, while the chain came moving towards him. Luke grasped the chain with his other hand, wrapped it around his arm and pulled it hard towards him.

Navajo was shocked seeing Luke stop his spinning blade attack so easily, he didn’t have a chance to recover as he went flying towards Luke when he pulled on the chain connected with his sand armor.

Luke released the blade as the sword fell on the floor and dug inside it. The fire started collecting on his palm as it turned into a blazing hot molten lava. He stretched his arm back and punched forward.

Navajo had no control on his body as he kept flying towards the burning punch of Luke’s. Helpless, he closed his eyes, readying himself for the impact.

BOOM!!

Navajo was surprised, he should have been flying back after the hit, but he stopped abruptly. He slowly opened his eyes and saw Argon holding him within his arm lock as his body stayed above the floor, and with his other hand, Argon held Luke’s arm, his punch deflected away from the original path.

Danver stood behind them above the stands. A mana shield had been raised in front of him and behind him stood numerous soldiers and enforcers, sweat forming on their foreheads and fear visible in their eyes, and in front of the mana shield, the whole ground along with the platform from where Luke stood, dug out forming a long and wide trench upto the stands.

All the people present were stupefied, their mouths wide open in shock. Hela stood with her jaw almost touching the ground. She couldn’t believe what she had seen just now. fear gripped her mind as she imagined what would have happened if Luke fought with Leo seriously.

"The duel ends here. Navajo accepts his defeat. You can stop now." Argon said.

After hearing those words, Luke released his limit overload. His hair turned normal and he moved his arm down.

"I win the bet then. Sister can be the heir now." Just after saying those words, Luke’s eyes rolled back, he lost consciousness and fell back.

Anna appeared behind him and caught him in her arms. She knew this was going to happen and was ready to jump in anytime.

"I’ll take him to his room." Anna said to Argon.

Argon nodded and didn’t say a word. His gaze fixed on Luke as Anna carried her out of the training field. His brows were creased as confusion as well as worry was written all over his face.
