The middle-aged man nodded, then turned to Liu Tong with an icy expression and said, "Officer Liu, as a police officer, how could you assault citizens? Have you forgotten your police training and vows?"

"Sir, they resisted law enforcement and assaulted officers. Was I not right to stop them?" Liu Tong replied flatly.

"Did you all resist law enforcement?" The middle-aged man asked the group with a sarcastic tone.

"No, we complied fully, but she still hit us."

"Sir, I believe someone like her shouldn’t be a police officer. Keeping her in the force is a disservice to the people!"

The brats voiced out, feigning righteous indignation.

"Officer Liu, you say they resisted and assaulted the police, but all I see are injured citizens and unharmed officers. Who should I believe?" The middle-aged man looked at the police officers critically and said, "Beating citizens is a serious violation; just look at how badly you’ve hurt them."

"Ouch, my bones are broken."

The brats cooperatively moaned and groaned.

"You!" Liu Tong pointed at them angrily. Although she had been rough, she targeted areas with more body fat to avoid real injury.

She said decisively, "Take them away!"

Seeing Liu Tong intending to take them despite everything, the middle-aged man’s face grew angry. Not just any team leader, but even her father would have to listen to him. With a cold sneer, he said, "Let me make it clear; let’s see who dares to take them away today!"

The officers hesitated. After all, he was a higher-up even above Liu Changfeng. If they forcibly took the suspects...
