Ah Hu looked at Yun Jiao nervously, fearing she might say something bad.

Yun Jiao smiled and said, "Don’t be nervous, your young master is much better. After taking medicine for two more days, he’ll be fine."

Ah Hu was somewhat skeptical, "Really, just two more days of medicine?"

Yun Jiao nodded, "For the next two days, you can give him some easily digestible porridge, and try to avoid meat."

Ah Hu respectfully saw Yun Jiao out, then went back to chatter with Lin Shuo, "Young master, I feel that Doctor Gu’s medical skills are probably extraordinary."

"When you were spitting blood before, it looked really scary. I thought you were going to die."

"Who knew she could save you so easily."

Lin Shuo, lying on the bed, looked at the ceiling. When he was spitting blood, it wasn’t just Ah Hu — he thought he was going to die too.

"You should return to the Capital City and report."

"You can tell him, say that I’ve released you, you can go anywhere you want, do anything you wish."

Ah Hu shook his head, "The young master doesn’t need to say anymore. From the day I was chosen to follow you, I swore to be loyal to you for life. I will never leave."

Lin Shuo gave a bitter smile, "What good is it to follow me? Your silver is almost spent, how will you even eat following me in the future?"

Ah Hu continued shaking his head, "It’s okay, I can do hard labor, take short-term jobs to support the young master."

Lin Shuo lay on the bed, amused and exasperated, "Are you stupid? You have such good skills; you could work as a guard, or as a security escort. The money earned is definitely more than doing hard labor."

Ah Hu grinned widely, "Young master, you see, I’m so stupid. Could you really let me go out alone? Aren’t you afraid I’d be sold off?"

Lin Shuo slowly turned his head inward, his eyes a bit wet.

He knew no matter what he said, Ah Hu wouldn’t leave him. He really was a fool.

Lin Shuo secretly wiped his eyes, then looked at the ceiling, "Since you’re not leaving, let’s find a place to make a living."

Ah Tie focused intently on the medicine on the stove, "Anything is fine. Wherever the young master goes, I go. Whatever the young master does, I do."

The next morning, Yun Jiao opened the window, and couldn’t help but be disappointed, it was still raining outside.

Yun Jiao was holding a medical book and reading.
