Coggate, the Little Giant's Street, the alleyway on the north.

Sitting on top of a barrel, a large-chested man rubbed his dirty beard that looked like it was a nest for birds.

"Please, take me there…"

In front of him, there was a young woman holding coins in her hand—not much—as she looked somewhat homeless.

It was clear that she had suffered through life, as evidenced by her tattered clothing and worn face.

"That's just not enough money."

Betrayer said, and then ran his gaze down the young woman's body. She had flesh just in the right places and had a look of desperation in her eyes.

'Easy…'

He thought, and then he locked his fingers before leaning closer to her with his disgusting breath on her neck.

She shrank under his heavy gaze. That disgusting gaze was undressing her like a hungry predator stalking its prey.

"I am sure we can strike a deal. If you… suck me off, I'll show you the way."

Betrayer said with an ugly smile. His yellow teeth had some food particles stuck between them.

"I…"

She didn't want to, but she was desperate, as she had to get to Coggate's Black Market no matter what.

A few days ago, she believed that her little brother was taken there. It was the only place he could've disappeared to.

With trembling lips, she put her hands on his belt that was straining around his large waist and started pulling his pants down.

"Yeah…"

Betrayer grinned, but in that moment, footsteps sounded from the entrance of the alleyway, and a man walked in.

Middle-aged man. Black hair and grey eyes. Average-looking face with nothing distinctive in his features.

"We're a little busy here. What the fuck do you want?"

Betrayer asked angrily.

"…You're Betrayer?"

Aren asked, wearing the Human Flesh Mask, and saw the young woman kneeling before the large-chested man in a very suggestive position.

"Yeah, and who the fuck are you? I am in the middle of a meeting!"

He screamed.

"Miss, this is a private matter. Please leave us alone."

Aren said to the young woman, who looked at him in a panic, and she didn't look like she wanted to leave.

It was because she had to get to Coggate's Black Market, and it didn't matter what she had to do, she was going to get there.

"She isn't going anywhere. You are. Piss off!"

Betrayer screamed at him.

This guy was starting to really piss him off, and he thought about calling out his goons but then saw the flap of the middle-aged man's coat fluttering in the wind.

Just enough to show the black revolver slid inside the holster. It instantly calmed down Betrayer, and he immediately pulled his pants up.

"Leave…"

He said in a low tone towards the young woman, who started begging him to take her there, but Betrayer just shoved her aside.

"I told you to leave!"

With tears in her eyes, the young woman turned and ran away but also looked at Aren with a really angry gaze.

"Lord Blessed One… Please forgive me for my hasty actions just now. Why have you come to seek me?"

Betrayer asked with an ugly smile.

It was a surprise just how quickly he turned his attitude around. Now he was all humble, while just moments ago he was seething with anger.

"I need passage to the Black Market."

Aren said.

While he was walking down to his alleyway, he quickly checked Betrayer's Mind Image, but he wasn't the Blessed One, so it didn't show.

Thus, Betrayer also couldn't see his Mind Image, as ordinary people couldn't check it.

"Sure thing, but… I need payment of 500 Iris coins. I am working alongside Black Market's boss, and I do share most of the profits with him.

"I can't really let you in for free, haha…"

Betrayer said with an awkward smile.

"…She wasn't paying, now was she?"

Aren asked, looking over his shoulder at the exit of the alleyway, and saw that the young woman was long gone.

"Oh, that?"

Betrayer scoffed and waved his hand.

"I wasn't actually planning to give her passage. In my position, you need to have keen eyesight on who you should let into the Black Market.

"I saw in that young woman a potential snitch risk. It's bothersome to have some lawmen snooping around, even though Coggate's lawmen know the existence of the Black Market and are working alongside us."

Betrayer said.

"Do you see a snitch in me?"

Aren asked.

"…No, haha. You're Outlaw, aren't you? I can tell from your revolver, and oh boy, I have seen some sick Outlaws in my time.

"Outlaws aren't snitches. This Black Market is like home to your kind…"

Betrayer said with a smirk, and winked with a knowing look as if he could tell what Aren was coming for in the Black Market.

He believed that he was here for some sex slaves, forbidden drugs, and all kinds of sick pleasures.

"You indeed have a keen eye."

Aren said, hiding his sarcasm in his heavy accent, and then tossed him about five hundred Iris coins.

"Follow me…"

Betrayer walked into the wall, and it swung open like a door. It led them down to the underground for about a hundred meters.

There, a shaky-looking elevator dangling from a rusted chain awaited them. It wasn't working with electricity, and instead it was manual.

The elevator was just a rusty box. Its gate creaked open ominously. And Aren stepped inside, hoping it would hold his weight.

"Have fun, you sick bastard!"

Betrayer said with a laugh, pushed down the handle, and the elevator plummeted down to the dark depths.

"Shit!"

Aren clutched onto the railing for dear life as the elevator plummeted downward, and the rusty chain struggled to slow it down.

In the end, the rusty chain yanked the elevator to a screeching halt just before it hit the bottom, and then with a metallic thud, the elevator came to a stop.

"My god…"

Aren shook his head, pushed open the rusty gates, and then walked upstairs until he reached a door at the top.

With his left hand, he pushed open the door, and his eyes widened in shock as he took in the scene before him.

Black Market was right in front of him.
