CHAPTER 45: WHAT’S BROKEN CAN’T BE WHOLE ANYMORE

Luca’s POV.....

"Luca," Ares called and I stared at him, my eyes filled with anger, when I looked away, they were hurting her, I could feel her pain in my body, I could feel her tears in my mind and I could hear her screams, it felt like I had lost everything, it felt like I had no control over my body.

I didn’t like the way it felt, my wolf wanted to take control and find her in his own way but I can’t allow that especially when I am pissed off at myself and at Ares, I can’t let anyone die by my hands again.

"What is happening?" I asked, taking a breath for a moment as I felt the pain radiating through my body, and a breath fell out of my lips.

"You don’t look happy."

"They are putting her through pain, hurting her, hurting her mark." I breathed out, and I looked away from him for a second when a curse fell out of my lips.

"We are still looking for her." Ares spoke, with the pain that I felt, it was making it hard for my wolf to find her, all he wanted to think about was the pain to stop, it brought me closer to her yet not in a way that I wanted; I wanted to find her.

Each time I closed my eyes, it felt like I could not see her anymore, it felt like no matter how hard I tried, her mind was closed off, and she couldn’t let me in if she was in so much pain.

"Is he ready?" I whispered and Arss nodded.

We found the traitor, he has been working for me for years, he worked for my father too, Sam, that is his name, I always thought that he was a good person because of what he has done for me and for my pack and he is one of the oldest wolves to be here.

They respect him a lot, he has a family, and I can’t even imagine how the rest of the pack would be feeling watching them bring him into the basement.

I was going to announce his death to the whole pack when I felt the pain for the first time, I realized I can’t let my men see me that way so I left, I had to.

"Are you- I am sure, I can handle this," I said cutting him off, I need to find her and I need to find her fast, I can’t imagine the amount of pain she would go through, I can’t imagine how she must be feeling, I can’t imagine what it feel like right now and all I want to do is make sure that she is with me even if she is going to be mad at me.

"Look who is here, the great Alpha Luca," Sam smirked, and his eyes met mine and I smiled, my wolf glancing through my eye when I looked away from him for a moment. "You are not going to find her."

"Is that so, did they promise you that you would be safe or did you willingly sacrifice yourself to die for a greater cause?" I asked.

Knowing why he did this is not my business, what I cared about was the fact that; he did it, he hurt me, he hurt my pack and he turned his back on his Alpha, any other thing didn’t matter to me except to find her.

"Did they promise you, your family would be safe too, or did you send your family away because you knew they would not be safe, do you really think I have no idea where April and the girls are?" I smirked.

Ares handed me over a chair and I settled in front of him.

Unknown to him and anyone in the pack, I always keep an eye on their families, not because I want to make sure that I have some leverage over them, it’s solely because I want to make sure everyone is safe.

My enemies would go to any lengths to make sure that they ruin my pack, and if they have to come for every member, they will be sure that we are all dead, I want to be sure they are all safe, and I kept an eye on his family too.

"What’s wrong, Ares get him a glass of water, he would need to process the information," I smirked, and Ares nodded.

I stared at him with a smile on my face, my eyes were on his, and I could still feel the pain, I had to smile through it.

"Your girls, they are precious, will your wife ever forgive you if your baby ever die, will she ever love you because all your kids are gone, dead because of you, when they watch over you, they will wish death upon you maybe I would not kill you, maybe I will condemn you; kill your girls and leave you with your wife, are you confident she will stay?." I asked.

I stared at him, my eyes met his when he handed him over the glass of water and he helped take off the rope from one of his hands, his eye met mine and I watched as he gulped down the glass of water.

"The pack would never forgive you if you ever came for my family."

"They want you dead especially after they find out what you have done, they would not care for you, and even if they don’t like Olivia, they will because she is not what you think she is. She is trying, she is powerful and they will see her for who she is." I explained, even do they don’t, I will force them to.

I will be sure that they respect her, respect is more important than like or dislike.

"Where is she, Sam?" I whispered against my breath. "Where did they take her?"

"Kill them." He spoke and my eyes widened, he didn’t think I would believe that, he thinks to remember my father taught me all that he knew today and I learnt from my father, I have his blood in my veins, I know the type of man he is and the type of rules he had, how he taught me all of it.

"Did she tell you she is pregnant.?" I asked and his eyes widened. "She is pregnant with your third child, I know how long you have been waiting for this and can you imagine that?" I breathed out.

He stared at me again, his eyes were on mine, and he stared at me again when I moved closer to him.

"I will kill your family, your friends; everyone related to you would be dead and you will beg for mercy, you will tell me where she is or your daughter would feel it, they will stare at you and beg you for help and do you know what I will do, even at that, I would not grant them mercy." I smiled.

"Start Ares." I breathed out again when he took out a knife and he headed toward him, I wanted to punish him for what he had done and I would make him talk, he had to tell me where she was.

If he is not working alone, I will find out too, there is a price to pay for betraying the pack and now I am convinced that she didn’t do that, she didn’t spill my secrets and he did

Three hours of torture had passed, the room had the strong scent of blood and I could feel his wolf begging for help, his growl filled the room over and over again and I stared at him, this time ready to have a conversation with him again.

"What’s wrong Sam, are you ready to talk, your family won’t be here for another hour, and April is going to hate it when she finds out what will happen to her; you know I heard the men speak about how they always wanted to have her in their bed."

"You would not dare, you can’t be that monstrous." He yelled and I smiled, for Olivia, I will do anything, I will erase the whole earth if it means that she will be fine, if it means that nothing will ever happen to her.

"She is somewhere safe, in a place you would never expect." He spoke and my eyes widened, I didn’t know what to think.

Where would she be? He has to be put through more torture because I am aware of the fact that he is not going to be willing to talk, he wants to play tough to have any form of conversation with and I am going to force him to.

I stared at him again and I smiled.

I have a feeling I am going to enjoy this even more.

"I guess I will have to find out in my own way." I smiled.
