The Strongest Urban Son-in-law
Chapter 33 - 31 Rescue Treatment
CHAPTER 33: CHAPTER 31 RESCUE TREATMENT
"Spit!" Finally, Li Linfeng, driven by his anger, felt a sweetness in his throat, and a mouthful of fresh blood surged up and he spat it out.
"Thud!" Li Linfeng fell to the ground and passed out, his breath gradually weakening.
"Grandfather!" Li Xue’er yelled worriedly, her eyes red with urgency, immediately performing emergency rescue.
Everyone was stunned, not expecting Li Linfeng to actually be provoked by Ye Feng into vomiting blood and fainting.
While performing CPR, Li Xue’er shouted, "Won’t someone call an ambulance quickly?"
By now, the smile had also disappeared from Lin Zhen’s face; he hadn’t expected that Li Linfeng, who had such a venomous tongue, had such poor tolerance. If he had known Li Linfeng would react this badly, he would have asked Ye Feng to be gentler.
But, the same situation happening to anyone else was probably equally hard to accept.
For example, imagine dedicating your whole life to something you pride yourself on, but one day, you realize your achievements are utterly worthless in front of a novice—it’s very hard to accept, isn’t it?
Ye Feng watched Li Xue’er, who was quite skilled, clearly knowledgeable about medicine. She was doing very well.
Ye Feng saw what was wrong with Li Linfeng and shook his head helplessly, "What you’re doing is useless; by the time the ambulance arrives and reaches the hospital, Li Linfeng will be gone..."
Li Xue’er’s face changed, glaring fiercely at Ye Feng, "If you spout nonsense again, believe it or not, I’ll tear your mouth apart!"
Ye Feng didn’t bother with Li Xue’er; he wouldn’t argue with a young woman.
However, Lin Zhen grew worried, "Ye Feng, this old guy Li Linfeng won’t be in trouble, will he?"
Although Lin Zhen and Li Linfeng always fought, they actually had a mutual respect for each other. Fundamentally, they admired each other. Li Linfeng was straightforward and honest; although harsh in words, he never resorted to mean, underhanded tactics—his methods were transparent.
Lin Zhen and Li Linfeng were both enemies and friends. Seeing Li Linfeng like this, Lin Zhen couldn’t help but feel distressed.
"Li Linfeng’s heart is weak. The rage led to severe heart damage; it’s unlikely he’ll survive!" Ye Feng answered.
Lin Zhen grew anxious immediately, "Ye Feng, can you help him get through this crisis if you intervene?"
Ye Feng calmly said, "What difficulty is there in merely getting through the crisis? Even curing his heart disease would be effortless, hardly worth mentioning..."
"Bullshit!" Li Xue’er couldn’t listen anymore, "I’m a student at Linnan Province Medical University. My medical skills aren’t extraordinary, but I know my grandfather’s condition; it’s incurable. If you keep spouting nonsense, don’t blame me for being rude!"
Ye Feng paid no attention to Li Xue’er.
On the other hand, Lin Zhen became more frantic, "Ye Feng, if you can help, then please do. Save Old Sir Li. We may not get along, but he’s not a bad person, and I don’t want to see him go like this..."
"I can help, but it depends on whether his family agrees," Ye Feng nodded.
A doctor’s benevolent heart; when in the Southern Border, Ye Feng had learned medicine and thus became a doctor, helping many people with their illnesses and injuries.
As a doctor, and because the other man was not a terrible villain, Ye Feng naturally wouldn’t stand by and watch him die.
Li Xue’er, angry, looked at Lin Zhen, "Sir Lin, don’t create chaos at this time, let’s just wait for the ambulance!"
Sir Lin felt helpless as he said, "Xue’er, it takes twenty minutes for an ambulance to get here and the nearest hospital is another twenty minutes away. Even if we send him to the hospital right now, it would take twenty minutes. Are you sure Old Sir Li can hold on that long?"
"This..." Seeing Li Linfeng’s breath getting weaker, Li Xue’er’s heart wasn’t clear, and she wasn’t sure if Li Linfeng could hold on for even ten minutes.
"Even if that’s the case, I can’t possibly trust this kid. My grandfather’s illness, unless treated by a Divine Doctor from Dragon Country, is absolutely incurable. I just can’t trust him!" Li Xue’er didn’t give Ye Feng any chance.
Sir Lin expressed his frustration, "You don’t trust Ye Feng, but do you not trust me either? My illness was cured by Ye Feng, and you know very well what my condition was like. Just give Ye Feng a try!"
"What!" Everyone around was stunned. Many of those present knew that Lin Zhen had been diagnosed with a terminal illness but had miraculously recovered.
Li Xue’er and Li Linfeng had visited Lin Zhen; indeed, at that time, Lin Zhen was near death.
If Ye Feng had truly cured Lin Zhen’s illness, then perhaps he really might be able to help Li Linfeng.
A hopeful look appeared in Li Xue’er’s eyes as she looked at Lin Zhen, "Grandpa Lin Zhen, are you telling the truth?"
"Of course, it’s true! You might not trust Ye Feng, but don’t you trust me, Lin Zhen?" Lin Zhen assured.
"Okay! Then I’ll let Ye Feng give it a try!" Li Xue’er nodded her head.
Then, Ye Feng approached Li Linfeng and took out a set of silver needles from his bosom.
Ye Feng always carried the silver needles on him, which could be used to heal illnesses or as lethal weapons.
First, Ye Feng took Li Linfeng’s pulse; while doing so, he introduced his True Essence into Li Linfeng’s body, using his True Essence to protect Li Linfeng’s heart channels.
Once the True Essence entered Li Linfeng’s heart channels, his breathing suddenly became a lot smoother and more stable.
"Take off his clothes!" Ye Feng ordered.
Li Xue’er didn’t hesitate further and quickly removed Li Linfeng’s shirt,
Holding the silver needles, Ye Feng infused them with his True Essence and swiftly inserted them into Li Linfeng’s acupoints.
Then, Ye Feng’s hands moved quickly.
Ye Feng’s movements were incredibly fast, focusing on being quick, fierce, and accurate!
The speed of Ye Feng’s movements was so fast that it seemed like a blur, making onlookers feel it was unbelievable.
In just under a minute, thirty-six silver needles had been inserted into Li Linfeng’s body.
"Gulp~~" The crowd watching, filled with needles, swallowed nervously.
Even Li Xue’er hadn’t expected that Ye Feng was a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. To those familiar with Western medicine, the reliability of Traditional Chinese Medicine was always a mystery.
"Ye Feng, how is my grandfather doing?" Li Xue’er asked, worried.
Ye Feng didn’t bother to answer, as by now, Li Linfeng’s breathing had completely stabilized.
