Chapter 495: Chapter 504 Uncomfortable
Until John Brown felt suffocated, they finally surfaced again, gazing deeply into each other’s eyes, a perfect picture of love and affection.
He had swum underwater with Lucy Campbell before, but at that time John Brown had no other thoughts. Now, however, this was his wife, and he had no reservations. His hand was already on Gina Lopez’s ample chest, gently massaging it, while his own important part was on the verge of breaking through his swim trunks.
Gina Lopez’s face was flushed like fire, though they had been married for some time, yet at this romantic moment, Gina still felt a bit shy, her body soft and tender, and her loving gaze almost melted John Brown.
“Honey!” Gina Lopez called softly, and their lips met once again before they submerged underwater.
After repeating this several times, Gina was still having a great time with no intention of stopping, while John Brown felt somewhat overwhelmed, not because he was tired, but because the intimacy with Gina was too tempting to resist.
Putting his mouth close to Gina’s ear, John Brown whispered, “Honey… let’s go behind the rocks over there.”
“Why?” Gina Lopez asked affectionately.
“Look at this… it’s too uncomfortable, let’s go over there where no one can see us.”
Gina instinctively nodded, and John Brown was overjoyed, pulling Gina to dive into the water. They had done things together in bed many times, but doing it outside was something new and exciting for John Brown. If not for the buoyancy of the water, he would’ve jumped in right away.
“Ah! No!” At this moment, Gina suddenly shouted.
John Brown quickly stopped and anxiously asked, “Honey, what’s wrong again?”
“I can’t…” Gina shook her head in a panic.
John Brown thought Gina was feeling shy, so he took Gina’s hand and pressed it against his swim trunks, saying with a pained expression, “Honey, look, I’m holding it in this much. If you don’t let me… I’ll be so frustrated.”
Gina’s hand trembled slightly as it pressed against John Brown’s swim trunks, stammering, “I can’t… really can’t, we’ve been here so long, soon Sister Sandra and Charlotte won’t be able to find us, it’d be so awkward.”
John Brown didn’t notice the slight pause in Gina’s speech and said with a frown, “Then what do I do?”
“Hehe, just hold on, I’ll take care of you tonight,” Gina said, suddenly letting go of John Brown, and swam mightily towards the shore.
John Brown was speechless, realizing his wife wasn’t ready to let go yet. But he couldn’t force Gina and followed her towards the shore.
In the shallow water, Gina turned back to John Brown with a laugh, saying, “Wait here for a bit, otherwise you’ll be embarrassed when you return.”
John Brown still hadn’t calmed down, but could only agree, watching Gina swim to the shore, and then playing with Emily Lopez, Sarah Grandy, and his daughter Emily Brown.
Shaking his head, John dipped back into the sea; without Gina nearby, his desire dwindled quickly, allowing him to swim towards the shore.
“Daddy, look at the little crabs I caught. I caught them myself!” Emily Brown exclaimed excitedly, raising a small basin with several crabs still crawling around inside.
“My sweet daughter, you’re amazing, caught so many!” John Brown squatted down, eagerly praising his daughter.
The little girl proudly said, “The little crabs are fierce, their pincers hurt my hand, but Emily didn’t cry.”
“Wow, that fierce, when Daddy was young and got pinched by crabs, he cried.”
“Hehe, Daddy you’re so lame, not as brave as Emily.”
“That’s right, Emily is the bravest and the strongest.”
“Yes, Emily is the bravest.”
The little girl puffed out her chest with pride, tugging Sarah Grandy along to catch more crabs.
Both Gina Lopez and Emily Lopez gave John Brown a thumbs-up, admiring how encouraging he was to Emily Brown, which gave the little girl more resilience. Even if her biological parents weren’t around, she wouldn’t cry too much, and with time she’d gradually adjust.
Gina Lopez sat down beside John Brown, smiling brightly and said, “Emily is so adorable, I really like her.”
John Brown smiled and said, “It’s great that you like her.”
“You’re still worried about me? I’ve been playing with her all day, she’s very close to me now.”
The two had just exchanged a couple of words when Sandra called from the side, “Brother-in-law, brother-in-law, I want seafood,” interrupting John Brown and Gina Lopez.
Gina shot her sister a glance and said, “Emily hasn’t played enough yet. What seafood are you talking about?”
Gina pointed to an old lady over there holding a basket and said, “Isn’t there someone selling it over there? Brother-in-law, please buy some for me.”
John stood up, smiled, and said, “Alright, wait here, I’ll go buy some for you.”
“I’ll go with you too.” Sandra jumped up, grabbed John’s arm, bouncing around like a fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl, thrilled.
John hadn’t been with Sandra for a long time, being close like this really felt heartwarming. He bought some of the seafood the old lady was selling and brought it back to Gina.
Sandra called out to Emily Brown, “Little Violet, come and eat, it’s all fresh seafood!”
Emily Brown ran over excitedly, and Gina quickly called the little girl over, washed her hands with mineral water, and then let her eat.
Although the little girl often ate seafood before, she hadn’t tried these little things. Gina carefully taught her how to eat, really like Little Violet’s biological mom.
This reassured John greatly; he was worried that Gina might be impulsive and once Emily was really brought home, she’d become annoyed. But now it seemed Gina treated the child quite well.
“Uncle, I can’t get this conch out.” Charlotte pouted and handed a conch to John, sitting beside him naturally.
John picked out the conch meat with a toothpick and handed it to Charlotte.
Charlotte didn’t take it with her hand but instead opened her mouth and said, “I want you to feed me.”
John was a bit embarrassed and said, “Eat it yourself.”
Charlotte’s eyes reddened immediately, aggrieved and said, “Uncle, you’re bad to me now. You said you’d take care of me forever. Now that you have a wife, you don’t want me anymore. Mom and Dad left me behind, and you’re not taking care of me either.”
Initially, Charlotte was just throwing a little tantrum, but mentioning her parents triggered her sadness, and she ended up genuinely upset.
Charlotte hadn’t been as sad in recent days as she was right after her parents passed away that despite John forgetting about it. Seeing Charlotte like this, he quickly said, “Alright, alright, I’ll feed you, I’ll feed you. I never said I wouldn’t take care of you.”
Charlotte turned her head away, refusing the conch meat John was offering, saying, “You’re so reluctant, not treating me as well as you did before. You just want to abandon me.”
John awkwardly looked towards Gina, who sighed and said to John, “Honey, what’s going on? You have to do what you say. How can you be mean to Charlotte? Charlotte, don’t be angry. Your uncle got a daughter now, so he takes care of her more, didn’t you see he doesn’t care about me?”
John also hurriedly said, “Charlotte, aren’t you going to compete with my daughter?”
Both Gina and John tried to console her, which made Charlotte feel better, and she turned to eat the conch meat, but her mood visibly dropped, not faking anymore.
Gina shook her head at John, looking a bit helpless, then gave John a look, letting him know Gina was asking him to comfort Charlotte. John returned a grateful glance to Gina, then put his arm around Charlotte’s shoulder and said, “Come, come, eat another one, you naughty girl,”
This time, John took the initiative, even in front of Gina, which immediately improved Charlotte’s mood. She smiled sweetly with her head leaning on John’s shoulder, saying, “Uncle, you’re great.”
John ruffled her hair and said, “Be good, only then can Uncle treat you well, don’t cause trouble.”
“Got it, I won’t make you mad anymore, nor will I make Sister Gina angry.”
Charlotte wasn’t the type of girl with any tricks up her sleeve; her mood changed quickly; once John was a bit nicer to her, she immediately stopped being moody.
After finishing the seafood, John took his daughter to play.
The little girl wasn’t interested in swimming; what she enjoyed most was catching small crabs and fish by the water, and then John helped her build a big castle, which made the little girl laugh happily.
Today, most of the people here had brought their children, and the big castle John built for his daughter was truly huge, grand and majestic, attracting many children to join in the fun.
Since there were children of similar age playing with Emily Brown, John and Gina sat on the side, letting Emily play with those children, making their daughter even happier.
But after playing for a while, several children ended up arguing. One little boy suddenly rushed over and, using hands and feet, smashed Emily Brown’s castle to pieces. Emily, angry, pounced, pushing the little boy into a tumble, then he sat on the ground crying.
This was originally a small conflict between kids, nothing much, but who knew it would lead to a big argument because of this minor disagreement.
