CHAPTER 679: CHAPTER 716: LOVE MEANS GIVING (PART 2)

"Honey, you’re so good." Gina Lopez smiled sweetly, with an added touch of allure on her face. She bit her lip and said, "Tonight I’ll take good care of you."

John Brown broke out in a sweat; tonight she’ll take good care of him, clearly as a result of Emily Berns’ provocation. And the house’s soundproofing wasn’t great, so it seemed they wanted Emily Berns to hear.

After everyone finished washing up, Emily Berns took Little Violet to bed early. Little Violet generally goes to bed early, and after playing wildly with Emily Berns today, she fell asleep shortly after lying down.

Emily Berns lay in bed but found it hard to sleep. In the room next door, where John Brown and Gina Lopez were staying together, she felt really uncomfortable. Though she knew it was perfectly normal for a couple to sleep together, the thought of John Brown holding Gina Lopez in bed and doing those things made Emily Berns even more uneasy.

John Brown and Gina Lopez were lying in bed, with Gina Lopez nestled against John Brown, stroking his chest. Her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes sparkled with an unusual glow.

John Brown felt a bit uneasy and said, "Honey, it’s getting late, let’s sleep."

Gina Lopez suddenly pounced on John Brown, pouting, "No, I’m not tired yet."

"Well... I’m a bit tired today, how about tomorrow?" John Brown asked cautiously.

Gina Lopez bit John Brown’s chest and said coyly, "You bad guy, are you afraid that Emily Berns will hear us?"

John Brown quickly said, "No, no, I’m just worried our daughter isn’t asleep yet, plus I’m a bit tired."

Gina Lopez snorted, "Don’t be silly, I know you’re afraid Emily Berns will hear, but today I want her to hear how good it feels to be with you. Honey, haven’t you always wanted to try some different positions... I’ve never agreed before, but tonight... I’ll fulfill your wish."

In the room next door, Emily Berns was seething, gritting her teeth with anger, wishing she could go over and make them stop. But she knew she couldn’t do that, and silently cursed to herself, "Gina Lopez, you always act so dignified in public, but in bed you’re so shameless, a true harlot."

"Hmph, I’m sure that’s why John Brown is infatuated with you."

Though Emily Berns thought this way, she felt powerless. Apart from that one time she had a secret affair with John Brown, she’d never been intimate with him again. Even though she understood what it was all about, just thinking about that amorous scene was too much for her.

Eventually, Gina Lopez’s moans stopped, but shortly after, they started again, making it even harder for Emily Berns to bear. She covered her head with the quilt, trying to block it out.

But the sound seemed to penetrate right into her ears, making her body feel hot and incredibly uncomfortable.

The next morning, Emily Berns was still asleep in bed when knocking woke her up, followed by Gina Lopez’s voice, "Emily Berns, it’s time to wake up Emily Jones; otherwise, she’ll be late for kindergarten."

Emily Berns responded and muttered a bit, but still woke her daughter up. Although she wanted to be with her daughter, she had some things to take care of during the day.

Upon getting up, Emily Berns saw Gina Lopez, who seemed even more beautiful than she did the night before, especially with that kind of charm. If Emily Berns were a man, she wouldn’t be able to resist holding Sunny Nguyen.

"Emily Berns, why do you look so tired? Did you not sleep well last night?" Gina Lopez greeted Emily Berns with a smile, knowing her current state was likely due to last night’s events. Though she would normally be embarrassed by letting others hear, today she seemed proud.

Emily Berns yawned and said, "I already sleep poorly in new places, and with you making such a ruckus last night, how could I fall asleep?"

Emily Berns wasn’t one to easily let things slide, especially verbally. So she retorted, frowning, "Do you always do it like that at night? Aren’t you afraid of waking up Little Violet? It wouldn’t be good for a child to be negatively influenced by this."

Though Gina Lopez felt proud, Emily Berns’ words made her a bit embarrassed. She hurriedly said, "No, we always pay attention. We only do it once Little Violet is sound asleep, and kids usually sleep heavily and wouldn’t wake up."

Emily Berns smiled slightly and said, "That would be best, but if I find out my daughter is affected, I’ll definitely take her away."

Though Gina Lopez had provoked Emily Berns, she ended up being chastised herself. However, being a businesswoman, she had good adaptability and smiled, "Blame it on John Brown. I’m always careful, but last night he was insistent on tossing and turning, and I just couldn’t resist."

Emily Berns raised her eyebrows and glared at John Brown, saying, "Alright, I’m going to wash my face."

Emily Lopez gave Gina Lopez a thumbs up, full of admiration.

Gina Lopez smiled proudly but quickly glared at Emily Lopez, considering it excessive to discuss such things in front of her sister, especially since her sister didn’t have a boyfriend yet.

After breakfast, Emily Berns said, "I’ll take the kids to school today."

John Brown quickly said, "That’s not a good idea. If anyone recognizes you, it’ll be troublesome. And if others know your identity, it could negatively affect our daughter."

Emily Berns hurriedly said, "I won’t get out of the car; I just want to see the kindergarten where our daughter goes."

Such a request couldn’t be refused by John Brown and Gina Lopez. Gina Lopez said, "I won’t accompany you then because I need to go to the city government this morning. The driver will come to pick me up soon."

Emily Lopez immediately said, "Then who’s taking me?"

Gina Lopez instantly caught on and said, "Let your brother-in-law take you; it doesn’t matter if you’re a bit early or late for work."

Gina Lopez left first, and John Brown went with Emily Berns and Emily Lopez to take Little Violet to school. Emily Berns, indeed, didn’t get out of the car but watched her daughter enter the kindergarten from inside the car.

"Where do you want to go now?" John Brown asked Emily Berns.

Emily Berns glanced at Emily Lopez and said, "I’m going to the hotel."

Emily Lopez straightforwardly said, "Then, Brother-in-law, you should take her first."

Emily Berns chuckled softly and said, "What, keeping an eye on your brother-in-law for your sister?"

Emily Lopez giggled and said, "Yes, I’ve got to keep a close eye on my brother-in-law. A lot of people have their eyes on him, so I must keep him in check."

Emily Berns pursed her lips and didn’t say anything, allowing John Brown to drive her to the hotel. Before getting off, she said, "I’ll find a place to stay over the next few days, and you’ll have to help me out. I don’t want anyone to know where I’m staying."

John Brown nodded, feeling responsible for this matter.

Only then did Emily Berns get out of the car, while John Brown started the engine, prompting Emily Lopez to immediately say, "Annoying brother-in-law, Emily Berns really is troublesome."

John Brown laughed and said, "You criticize her and somehow include me?"

Emily Lopez stiffened her neck and said, "Hmph, if it weren’t for the trouble you stirred up, there wouldn’t be so many issues. Who else to blame but you?"

"Alright, alright, it’s all my fault."

"Brother-in-law... you were quite aggressive last night, more than usual. Did something provoke you?" Emily Lopez suddenly cracked a playful smile.

John Brown laughed and said, "Don’t you have telepathy with your sister? Then take a guess."

"I felt amazingly comfortable yesterday. My sister was likely on top, especially those few times toward the end. That rhythm was insanely pleasurable. Have her do it more often. As a woman, you shouldn’t just lay there and wait for the man; that’s no fun."

John Brown was utterly shocked. The telepathic connection was incredibly strong, and Emily Lopez could even sense the positions, which was truly miraculous.
