The Sword God of the Universe
Chapter 1276: Wu Huo Ancestor
CHAPTER 1276: CHAPTER 1276: WU HUO ANCESTOR
Vast Smoke Divine Realm Great Hall!
A woman in a green dress walked in, and for a moment, everyone in the hall focused their gaze on her.
"Main God Lian Xin?"
Gao Jufan, Xiao Wangyue, and others stood up from their seats upon seeing this woman. Even Solo Domain Lord rose, a smile appearing on his face.
"Lian Xin?" Jing Yan also stood up, his eyebrows slightly furrowed. He felt the name was somewhat familiar, likely had heard of it before.
However, judging by the aura of this Martial Artist named Lian Xin, she seemed to be a Three Flowers Main God Realm Martial Artist, similar in strength to Cloud Sky Domain Master Hao Yuntian.
Yet the fact that Solo Domain Lord stood up in response clearly meant this person had a significant background.
"Greetings, esteemed Daoists!" Main God Lian Xin casually greeted everyone.
The next moment, her gaze fell upon Jing Yan in the crowd. Jing Yan, feeling the eyes of Main God Lian Xin on him, slightly lifted his head and met her gaze.
Main God Lian Xin spoke, "Yan Jin Alchemist, my master requests your presence!"
Buzz!
When Main God Lian Xin uttered these words, the atmosphere within the hall subtly shifted.
Those like Solo Domain Lord clearly understood whom Main God Lian Xin referred to as master.
It was none other than Wu Huo Ancestor, a God Realm powerhouse, and among the Masters of Ten Thousand Gods, considered a highly formidable being.
Precisely because Main God Lian Xin’s master was Wu Huo Ancestor, Solo Domain Lord and others treated Main God Lian Xin with such respect.
One must know, Solo Domain Lord was a Nine Tripods Main God Realm figure who had once battled other Great Abilities. Even if ordinary Great Abilities themselves came here, they would treat Solo Domain Lord as an equal.
However, Wu Huo Ancestor was clearly not the same as ordinary Great Abilities. Therefore, even as a disciple in the Three Flowers Main God Realm, in front of Solo Domain Lord, Main God Lian Xin showed no hint of flattery or pleasing.
Jing Yan was momentarily taken aback upon hearing Main God Lian Xin’s invitation from her master.
"Mr. Yan Jin, Wu Huo Ancestor requests your presence, you should hurry over!" Solo said to Jing Yan.
Wu Huo Ancestor?
Upon hearing this name, Jing Yan suddenly realized. This name is a resounding presence in the God Realm, an extraordinary powerhouse capable of stunning the entire realm.
Wu Huo Ancestor wants to see me?
Deep within, Jing Yan couldn’t help but feel a bit excited.
"Yan Jin Alchemist, my master is waiting for you," Main God Lian Xin said again.
"Alright, I’ll go with Main God Lian Xin," Jing Yan quickly replied, stepping forward.
The two left the Vast Smoke Divine Realm Great Hall, one after the other. After Jing Yan and Main God Lian Xin left, the people in the hall exchanged uncertain glances.
What does it mean for Wu Huo Ancestor to meet Yan Jin Alchemist? Could it be that Wu Huo Ancestor has taken a liking to Yan Jin Alchemist and wants to accept him as a disciple? If Yan Jin Alchemist becomes Wu Huo Ancestor’s disciple, then...
In another great hall, Jing Yan followed Main God Lian Xin inside.
Sitting cross-legged in the center of the great hall was none other than Wu Huo Ancestor himself. After bringing Jing Yan in, Main God Lian Xin quietly retreated.
"Yan Jin, greetings, Senior!" Jing Yan bowed deeply in salute.
Wu Huo Ancestor slightly opened his eyes, still maintaining a half-narrowed demeanor. His gaze was incredibly sharp, as if capable of penetrating Jing Yan’s soul. Under such a gaze, Jing Yan felt as if the surrounding space had frozen.
"You are impressive," Wu Huo Ancestor nodded slightly.
"I called you here because I want to accept you as my disciple!" Wu Huo Ancestor directly stated his purpose for summoning Jing Yan, indeed intending to accept him as a disciple.
At every Immortal Bridge Meeting, many Great Abilities come with the intention of recruiting disciples. They choose promising talents to cultivate, who may become their right-hand supporters in the future.
Why does Star Moon Valley Master hold a transcendent position in the God Realm?
Star Moon Valley Master’s personal Martial Arts Strength is one aspect. But another vital reason is his disciples. Among Star Moon Valley Master’s seven direct disciples, anyone mentioned could stand independently in the God Realm. Besides direct disciples, Star Moon Valley Master also has numerous registered disciples, many of whom are renowned Nine Tripods Main Gods in the God Realm.
Of course, in the entire God Realm, some Great Abilities dislike accepting disciples, preferring to wander alone. But comparatively, those willing to accept disciples are evidently more plentiful.
Wu Huo Ancestor has quite a few disciples. Main God Lian Xin is one of his registered disciples.
Upon hearing Wu Huo Ancestor’s intention to accept him as a disciple, excitement spread rapidly inside Jing Yan.
He originally intended to seize the opportunity at the Immortal Bridge Meeting to find a mentor, expecting that only when the meeting was quite advanced would a Great Ability notice him. Unexpectedly, during the first round of the Immortal Bridge Meeting battles, a Great Ability, especially one as powerful as Wu Huo Ancestor, noticed him.
To become Wu Huo Ancestor’s disciple, Jing Yan was certainly very willing.
Wu Huo Ancestor continued, "I have many disciples, but none specialize deeply in the Alchemy Dao. I have heard of your achievements in the Alchemy Dao."
Upon hearing this, Jing Yan’s eyebrows slightly furrowed.
The implication was clear: Wu Huo Ancestor valued his Alchemy Dao abilities, not his Martial Arts abilities. This was the opposite of what Jing Yan anticipated.
"If you become my disciple, I have two requirements for you," Wu Huo Ancestor said, disregarding Jing Yan’s feelings.
"Firstly, you must become my exclusive alchemist. Secondly, your primary focus should be on the Alchemy Dao, not the Martial Arts," Wu Huo Ancestor said in an indisputable tone.
Abandon Martial Arts?
Wu Huo Ancestor’s intention was evidently for Jing Yan to abandon Martial Arts. Focusing primarily on the Alchemy Dao implies that Martial Arts training becomes secondary.
This certainly won’t do! Jing Yan’s goal is Martial Arts, not the Alchemy Dao. The Alchemy Dao can only be a subsidiary ability, serving the Martial Arts.
If becoming Wu Huo Ancestor’s disciple requires abandoning Martial Arts, Jing Yan surely couldn’t agree.
"Senior Wu Huo, while I am eager to be your disciple, I cannot abandon Martial Arts," Jing Yan said, taking a breath.
"Hmm?" Wu Huo’s gaze slightly hardened, and his half-narrowed eyes opened a bit wider.
"You have such outstanding abilities in the Alchemy Dao, why waste energy on Martial Arts? If you dedicate yourself to the Alchemy Dao, you might reach the Holy Alchemist level in the future. Do you know the status of Holy Alchemists in the entire God Realm? I can tell you, currently only two Holy Alchemists are confirmed alive in the God Realm."
"Hmph, even I have to show respect when meeting a Holy Alchemist!" Wu Huo Ancestor snorted lightly.
