Chapter 404 - 414
CHAPTER 404: CHAPTER 414
Mia Ginger returned directly to the dorm with her bag.
Only Windsor Myres was there.
She looked a bit off?
Mia closed the door and smiled slightly, "When did you leave? I didn’t even know."
"Really didn’t know or pretending not to know?" Windsor asked while browsing the webpage, not even turning her head, with a hint of sarcasm.
"..." Mia was taken aback, "I honestly didn’t know, you didn’t tell me, and you didn’t wait for me."
"I didn’t tell you?" Windsor suddenly turned around, squinting her beautiful eyes, smirking, "I called you several times in the exam room, and you just buried your head in writing, completely ignoring me. Blair Chester and Wren King both laughed."
"I didn’t hear you call me." Mia hesitated, uncertain, and replied.
"My voice was so loud, even the proctor gave me several looks, you didn’t hear?" Windsor hummed, annoyed, "Who are you trying to fool, are you deaf!?"
"..."
Mia looked at her with a bewildered expression, not speaking.
She didn’t bother with her.
Mia took a step to her own spot.
Windsor, however, was a bit furious, throwing her hand and standing up, continuing, "If you didn’t want to help me, you could have said so sooner. Last night you promised well, what changed at the exam room?"
Mia glanced at her, still not speaking.
"I really misjudged you, such a rare talent in playing deaf and dumb."
"Have you said enough?" Mia slapped down her bag with a ’bang,’ her face stiff, asking coldly.
Clearly angry, Windsor was taken aback, then realized it and was even more indignant. She gave Mia a once-over, coldly asked, "What kind of friend are you?"
Mia looked at her harshly indignant face, almost dumbfounded by her anger.
For a moment, she sneered, "I am a deaf, satisfied now? Please, you healthy people stay far away from me in the future."
"You!" Windsor let out a sound, turning to sit back in her chair angrily.
Mia was also quite upset, completely ignoring her.
Sitting at the table reading for a while, she was called out by a call from Mason Sutton.
Windsor was even angrier.
Couldn’t sit still, she didn’t even want to find Camden River for distraction.
She paced back and forth in the dorm for quite a while, then accidentally kicked Mia’s chair askew.
Angrily, she climbed into bed.
Pulled the quilt over, turned over wanting to sleep.
Unintentionally—
Her gaze fell on Mia’s bed.
There was a small bottle next to the pillow, looking like eye drops.
Involuntarily, she leaned over, reached out and picked it up, looked at it for a couple of glances.
Ear drops?
Windsor was taken aback heavily.
Frowned tightly, turned the bottle over several times in her hand, then went to grab her phone.
Searched it online, sat on the bed dazed.
One sentence after another, slowly recalling what Mia had just said.
Until the end—
She almost just wanted to slap herself.
——
She was filled with regret in the dorm.
Mia, of course, had no idea.
She was very upset, and didn’t even have a good expression when she met Mason at the school gate.
Expressionless, she got into the car, glanced at him, and weakly called out, "Brother Sutton."
"What happened?" Mason laughed, started the car, teasingly said, "Didn’t do well on exams? You don’t look very happy."
"Not that I didn’t do well." Mia said gloomily, "Had a few words with my roommate."
"Close relationship?"
"How did you know?" Mia looked at him in surprise.
