CHAPTER 305: LIGHT MOMENT

Liam was busy maneuvering in the kitchen when he heard the doorbell ring and the man immediately rushed to it because he knew whatever was on the other side is whatever he had perfectly requested.

Dan could smell the food, inviting aroma coming from his boss’s house just by standing outside the door, and the fact that he had not had his breakfast was something that really made him feel at loss and more hungry.

"Good morning, boss."

"Ah, Dan. Good morning. Good morning. Come in."

Daniel almost fainted because this is a behaviour and the type of accommodation he has never expected to receive from his boss.

The almighty president of the yang and the Lu Corporation was standing before him in just a Hello Kitty apron with a spatula on his hand with the biggest smile ever spotted by Liam.

He couldn’t help but ask worriedly as he received a confused look from Liam. The man just decided to drop it because he felt like his boss’s IQ had dropped a couple of numbers today.

Of course, Liam was so excited that he couldn’t even bring out a perfect sentence, making Daniel blush in embarrassment on behalf of him. He just wished the ground would open and of course he would disappear in because he felt like he was never going to take the man serious ever again after spotting this side of him.

Daniel immediately handed a bag to Liam as he equally handed his tablet to Liam, and the man immediately sat on the counter stool as he carefully read the article from head to toe, looking at the pictures of both Jane and him, and after which he nodded quite a number of times in a satisfactory manner as he gave Dan a go ahead.

"Good, post it. I guess the employees are yet to clock in?"

"Yes, boss, most of them will clock in in about an hour or so."

"Good, good. Send out an immediate message that everyone is exempted from work today to celebrate their Madame and their boss."

Liam, who was in an extremely good mood, gave everyone in both companies and off for the day as he even included some little treats as they all celebrated Jane’s birthday together. He intended to make sure that the whole nation was going to celebrate with her whether they liked it or not.

He opened the bag that Dan had brought and the more he looked into the bag, the more satisfied he was because there was a couple sets of clothes. More like a family set, because he had equally requested one that belonged to the twins. They were all going to match for the day and he really couldn’t wait.

As Liam was busy fawning over the clothes that had just been brought, Dan was busy carrying out his boss’s instructions as he was equally excited because that meant that he was also getting an off and a bonus. How else could the day get better?

Shortly afterwards, most of the companies and even entertainment medias noted that there was a new post in both the Yang and the Lu cooperation sites, and the moment they clicked the articles, they felt like fainting because even in the absence of Jane, Liam still found a way to feed them dog food.

The man was supposed to be wishing her a happy birthday, but in between it equally turned into a romantic expression and a romantic poem dedicated just for her and the people couldn’t help but go through their phone constantly because it was just so beautiful.

Apart from that, many netizens were quick to notice that both companies had been given an off for the day, inclusive of a very beautiful and good bonus, on top of some gifts that were distributed just to celebrate the birthday of Jane Lu!

But this time he included two, yes two pairs of hands, which netizens were quick to notice belonged to their little twins.

Almost immediately, this tweet received a replied from Liam himself as he explained how his wife would kill him if he brought another woman into the house so no!

The neitizens immediately burst out in laughter as they couldn’t believe President Yang could have such a light moment.

It immediately became a light moment between the netizens as they made jokes and laughed, and in the midst of the jokes they noticed that the comment about the sweet potato like hands had been liked by Liam and this made them bust out in laughter further because they realized that this was that kind of beef that father and son had, especially when it came to the mother. It was like both of them had something when it comes to roasting each other, and true to their assumptions, that is exactly what was going through Liam’s mind when he was liking that comment.

To be honest, he felt like the user’s words were indeed right because a child’s hand looked like a sweet potato, especially when the child eats good and is so chubby, the hands take off some kind of shape that is funny, beautiful and cute at the same time.

And of course, this time round, he was not joining the conversations like the young master of the Yang family and of course the president of the Yang corporation, but he was joining conversation just like a normal citizen. And of course, a normal parent to a normal pair of twins. Except, nothing is normal about them.

The netizens found Liam to be so adorable because they realized that he had been camping in the comments section and at some point even laughing at their comments, at some point replying back to their comments, an action that made most of them feel like their days had been made.

All big companies did not want to let go of this chance to please Liam, as of course the Big 5 did not let go of this chance to pamper their girl, and of course, feed family dog food to the citizens once again because one of the Big Five family members had the guts to actually announce a very big birthday present for Jane, shocking them because they felt like for a mother-in-law, Mrs. Yang was just too grand and just too lovingly adorable!!

"Eeer... president, your food is burning."

Daniel had to carefully remind the president, who was suddenly so engulfed in his phone as he looked at people praising his wife, smiling from time to time, that he had forgotten what he was initially doing and it was only the smell of burnt onions that made him become alert..... more like reminder from Dan, otherwise the man would have ended up burning the kitchen on such a beautiful day.

He was busy caramelizing his onions for the hot dog when Dan arrived and afterwards, the following events took him out of his attention in the kitchen and for the first time, Dan wanted to smack his head so hard, even though he is his president, he felt like first of all, the boss’s attention span had reduced to completely zero. And second, he had lost his IQ. Well, maybe they’ll come back after lady boss’s birthday.

After all, he looked so stupid because he was seeing people praising his wife. And of course that made me happy, as he should!!

Of course, just like a good subordinate, Dan did not leave but just stayed on the stool as he waited for his boss to take care of his kitchen business, so as to finally know if there are any further instructions, and if they were not, then he was going to throw himself on the bed, because why not?

"My wife hates it when I burn things or when I destroy food. So of course you have to be the test subject for today, now be good and eat."

Dan opened his mouth in shock and felt like the more he stayed in this house, the more he was going to get tortured and without waiting for Liam to say another word, the man immediately dashed out of his house, running for his life as he decided he was going to accept any other punishment but eating a burnt Hot dog? Yeah, Never!

He was not about to have a whole stomach ache on his off day. It was literally a day he was supposed to be enjoying!

Liam clicked his touch in annoyance as he followed the man who was just rushing out with his eyes before unknowingly heading back to the kitchen as he muttered quite a number of curses towards Dan because why not?
