The Villainess is Tired of Everything
PAID Chapter 112
Chapter 112
On the way back after our meeting, I stopped by Leticia’s place to gather the tools we would need for tomorrow.
We couldn’t risk being seen talking to each other during the festival.
According to Leticia, Ryan would also be wandering around the festival tomorrow.
“I guess it’s inevitable that we’ll run into each other.”
Though the thought of it stressed me out, I knew I had to accept it.
I just hoped that the conversation wouldn’t drag on too long.
I did need to shatter the illusions and misunderstandings he was undoubtedly clinging to.
Afterward, I stopped by a shop to buy a few outfits that would fit Bella’s size—pajamas, a dress, and a hat for tomorrow.
I didn’t want to choose something that was entirely based on my own tastes without her input.
By the time I climbed into the carriage, I was utterly exhausted.
"Finally, just the two of us," Darcy murmured as he rested his head on my shoulder.
His slightly sulky tone hinted at a bit of jealousy.
"It feels like we could exist in a world of our own."
Even his low, hushed voice didn’t scare me because I knew him too well.
The silver strands of his hair, reflecting the moonlight that seeped in through the carriage window, shimmered like gentle waves on the ocean.@@novelbin@@
It was as if the moonlight was reminding me just how beautiful this man truly was.
"I feel the same way," I whispered in agreement, leaning my head against his.
The night was silent, with only the sound of the carriage wheels echoing in our ears.
A different kind of serenity surrounded us, unlike the time spent with others. We leaned into each other, holding hands.
