Chapter 86

The last thing I wanted was to hold Kaysen's hand. I warned him again.

“Please, don't be kind to me, Commander.”

I deliberately left out his name. Instead, I took Ethan’s outstretched hand and carefully stepped forward.

We soon found ourselves on a small stone beneath the waterfall, and one by one, we entered the cave behind the waterfall.

“You’re here. I’ve been waiting for you.”

The interior of the waterfall was a large cave.

Eiren, holding a lantern, was waiting for us at the entrance. He still looked as pale as he had yesterday.

“…How did you know we were coming?”

“Did you already know each other?”

“This will be a long conversation, so shall we head inside?”

At Eiren’s suggestion, we nodded and made our way further into the cave.

When we finally reached the cave’s exit, I couldn’t help but gasp.
