Chapter 95

A loud growl echoed from my stomach.

"I just realized I only ate breakfast today."

I had been so busy talking all day that I hadn’t even thought about eating. But considering the current situation, the noise from my stomach was quite embarrassing.

I closed my eyes tightly, and when I opened them again, I was met with Darcy’s intense gaze, which had been darkened with desire but now was returning to its normal state.

Seeing Darcy regain his composure was both a relief and a disappointment. I found myself wanting more.

…But this wasn’t the right place for that.

"Darcy has things he needs to do as well."

However, the kiss was quite pleasant.

I looked at him reproachfully, my face turning bright red. But then, Darcy reached out and gently tucked a loose strand of my hair behind my ear, his touch so tender that all my embarrassment vanished in an instant.

“Shall we get something to eat?”

But the embarrassment still lingered.

“I must have lost my mind for a moment, just thinking about the fact that you accepted me. I almost forgot where we are.”@@novelbin@@

He pulled me into his arms, holding me in what could only be described as a princess carry. It was clear that ever since we had confirmed our feelings for each other, Darcy’s physical affection had become much more uninhibited.
