The Wolfless Luna's Revenge: Returning With His Secret Twins
Chapter 204
h4Chapter 204: Chapter 204/h4
[ALPHA DOMINIC’s Point of View]
I expected this would happen.
I knew Olivia. If she didn’t get what she wanted, then she would use force to get it.
She was unable to deceive us into granting her control over Silver Crescent Pack in return for the twins’ lives. But now that we finally got Devon and Diana, she ultimately decided to gather all her forces and wage war against my pack instead.
Olivia never cared about what might happen to her or the organization she was trying to lead on her own.
The thought made me wonder if Richard indeed died inside the old wolf altar when it started to copse. It must be the curse that had caught him; he wasn’t able to survive with how deadly it was.
Thest time I saw him, he was partly dead already. And knowing that Olivia runs the Fang Trinity and the ck w alone, I have a huge feeling this will all lead to a bloodbath all over Silver Crescent, ckStone and all the nearby packs that surround us.
I was just waiting for any of them to make contact with me and n the war that was about toe.
Samantha and I inside my study create a tension that made me stiff. I was nervous. I could smell her cologne. Did she just finish taking a bath? I stood from my table and then closed the gap between us.
I expected that she would flinch, make an excuse to leave the room, and avoid me, but she didn’t. She stood there in front of me and then gazed into my hazel eyes. Her ocean blue shoes made my heart race.
Her eyes sparkled from the dim light that came from thempshade just beside her. Goddess, she’s so gorgeous. All I wanted was to lean down and kiss those pinkish, supple lips but I was anxious. What if I upset her? What if she never wants me to kiss him and pushes me away?
All my fears vanished when she reached and cupped the side of my face. Oh, her hand was so warm it made me close my eyes. The calming feeling made me sigh, releasing the heaviness that caused bitterness and worry in my chest.
I was scared. Samantha had stopped loving me after everything that happened. I got scared that she never wanted me anymore and would realize that choosing me was a huge mistake. But there she was, sharing this pain and love that was flooding my chest. She was here. Here. For me. She was here, and her eyes were giving me a promise that she wouldn’t go anywhere and would only stay by my side no matter what happened.
“You have to get more sleep, Dominic. You are still recovering from what happened at the Wolf Altar,” she whispered with a sad smile as she caressed my cheek with her fingers. I thought she would lean forward to kiss me or wait until I got the courage to kiss her, but she started to step away from me with that sad smile that broke my heart to pieces.
With a heavy heart, once again, I watched Samantha step outside my study and close the door, leaving me with confused feelings and a broken heart.
I couldn’t count how many times I already expressed my real feelings with Samantha. And I couldn’t me her if she couldn’t take it seriously after everything that happened. I hurt her. And it was also the reason Devon had been harboring hatred against me. I wish I could change things for all of us. I wish I could make her see how important she and the kids were in my life. But how? All I knew was that I’d already done everything. And I didn’t know what I should do to win back Samantha’s heart.
So many things were left unsaid and I hated myself for this.
“Liam?” I spoke to my Beta after I took my phone from my pocket and decided that I needed this to end. I was getting so tired of Olivia and her father.
“Gather all the units and contact all the allies that are willing to give aid to the pack.” I ordered my Beta with my Alpha voice. Despite Olivia making Killian pretend to be the substitute Alpha of Silver Crescent after my power was subdued by the curse, there was no denying that I still had the authority over the pack.
I could still make them bend their knees to my every will.

“How many do you think there are?”
Liam stood beside me with a binocr in his hand, watching the enemy forces gather outside the massive walls and gates of Silver Crescent territory. After all the preparation we did overnight—the nning, organizing, and meetings with the allied Alphas around the nearby packs—I was confident that we could survive this war and make sure Olivia, the Fang Trinity, and the ck w organization would pay for everything they did to my people and my family.
“I have a rough estimation; it’s about five thousand or anywhere near that,” Liam answered as he clicked his tongue, a little anxious at what he was seeing. “We have eight thousand, Alpha Dominic. I am confident that we can win this, but you know how Olivia is. She is an unpredictable b*tch and she wanted all of us dead so bad. We have no idea what she can do. What she can sacrifice just to have her revenge. She had already sold her body and soul to whatever it was that made her look like that.”
“Does she scare you?” Iughed a little at Liam after seeing that horrified look on his face as he lowered his binocrs again.
“Are you serious? She terrifies me, Dominic. I mean, who would do this kind of thing? Selling your body and soul to something that you are not sure what it is just to have revenge? That’s a total fuck-up!”
“That’s why we are here to end this.” I said sharply as I red at the dark smoke billowing outside the walls of the eastern gates, where they first destroyed. “I am not letting Olivia get inside Silver Crescent again. She failed with her first and second tries. Now I am not letting it happen again.”
Liam patted me on the shoulder with a wide smile on his face and then uttered with a proud look on his face. “You know I am always by your side, Dominic. No matter what.”
“Thank you, Liam. "I wouldn’t survive all of this without you," I said, my face showing gratitude as I then grabbed his hand for a firm, short handshake. “You saved the kids from Olivia. I owe you forever.”
“Your wife is approaching; I must go check the west nk.” Liam smiled again and then patted my back with a teasing grin on his face. I just smiled helplessly and then shook my head slightly as I watched him jump down the wall we were standing on.
On my left, Samantha came walking towards me with slow, careful steps and stopped by my side. She took the binocrs with graceful hands from the small table beside her that Liam used and then sighed heavily as she saw the massive number of enemies on the other side of the walls.
“Hi,” I softly murmured to her with a small smile.
“Hi,” she answered with the same shy smile and then gazed into my eyes again. I was surprised when she took my wrist and then gently touched the mark of the curse with the tip of her finger—as if carefully tracing it. I watched thatzy, seductive moment of her finger and then looked back at her ocean blue eyes, which were full of longing. Suddenly, my gaze fell on her slightly parted lips, causing my heart to beat frantically inside my chest.
“I have a feeling your wolf can smell the curse.” What she said wasn’t a question but a statement—a confident one. Like she knew what my wolf could and couldn’t do.
I confirmed what she said and nodded. "Yes," I said softly, while my eyes remained fixed on her lips, making it difficult for me to focus. “I can smell her from here.”
After I got the curse, I became so familiar with its power, its stench, and the feeling of it spreading slowly all over me that even the slightest feeling and stench of it near me makes me recognize it easily. Olivia was the most distinct one. She was reeking of it. Wherever she goes, I would be able to trace her. Track her. The curse gave me the advantage of finding Olivia even despite her using her ability to tone down her presence.
“Good. We can use it to trap her then.” Samantha broke away from my gaze and then looked at the enemies again using the binocrs as she continued, “We are not letting her get close to the kids.”
This time, it was me who took Samantha’s hand and kissed the back of it with gentleness that even I wasn’t used to. I saw her eyes widen in surprise and her lips part again, which made me want to kiss her so badly.
“I will do everything for you, Samantha. You know that...” I murmured to her. My eyes swam with so much emotion that I couldn’t recognize. The only thing I knew was that I loved her. I loved her with all my heart and I was hoping she could feel it through our mate bond. Feelings that only she could feel through the bond we shared.
“I know you’re worried about me and the kids, Dominic. But know that I am just here by your side and I will fight alongside you. We will protect the pack, the people and our family and friends. I will do everything possible to help you fight the enemies that threaten to destroy everything we treasure here. We won’t let them do this to us.”
Those words meant everything to me, and I held on to that promise she said. I smiled and squeezed her hand as I leaned closer to kiss her forehead.
“You and the kids are everything to me...” I whispered to her as we touched our foreheads together like a prayer.
