CHAPTER 91: YELENA BELOVA

A/N: Here's the new Chapter! Which also means the next four chapters are up on for early access as well as the chance to vote on the direction of the story!

Yelena is doing great! Totally not dying or anything!

-x-X-x-

Yelena never wanted to be a killer. Funny that. She'd never been given the choice, basically being born into the Red Room. But they'd made the mistake of giving her a taste of freedom, of a real life outside of their games and drills and lessons in how best to kill a man. She was just three years old when they moved her to America, to Mount Vernon, Ohio and had her play the role of the baby of a fake family.

It wasn't until afterwards, when she was just six, that the mission came to an abrupt end and she found out it was all just a lie. They'd brought her back to the Red Room and from that point on, she was another one of their trainees. Another Black Widow.

Oh, but the Red Room had gotten even better over time. They'd advanced with the modern era. They'd gotten smarter. It wasn't enough to train compliance and obedience from the cradle into their agents anymore. Not when there were more thorough and concrete methods of controlling them.

Yelena didn't know how long she'd been under the sway of their chemical concoction. She couldn't even begin to say if it had been weeks, or months, or even years. But her last assignment had been hunting down a former Widow who'd somehow gotten away.

She'd found her target. She'd taken her target down. But in the resulting tussle… the other woman had done something to her. Even as the former Widow laid there dying from Yelena's knives, she'd freed her.

But of course, Yelena hadn't been the only one sent to take down the traitor. When you were hunting a Widow, obviously you sent more than one Widow to do the deed. There'd been two more with her… and they weren't nearly as free.

Maybe if she were smarter, Yelena would have held back, stayed calm, and waited for a better opportunity to escape. She didn't though. She'd freaked out just a bit and in doing so signaled to her former allies, still trapped in the Red Room's clutches, that she was no longer on their side.

She'd still escaped, of course. She was always one of their best. But she hadn't done it unscathed. Two bullets to the gut. Yelena had managed to pull one out, but she couldn't get the other. All she could do was bind the wounds and hide. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. The bullet still lodged inside of her… it was killing her.

Somehow, she'd made it to New York City. Somehow she'd made it here, to this small room in this set of rundown apartments. Sitting in a chair with her back to the wall, Yelena points the gun in her hand at the door… and waits to die.

Either the bullet already inside of her will kill her, or the Red Room will find her and finish her off. Yelena doesn't have much hope of anything else happening. Even the message she'd sent off… it didn't matter. She knew it wouldn't be answered, not after all this time. She-

The sound of footsteps coming down the hall outside combined with muffled voices cuts Yelena's inner monologue off. She stiffens and straightens up, one arm holding her abdomen, the other pointed at the door. Seems like this was to be her final stand. What a shitty place to die…

There's a pause, the whole world seeming to go quiet… and then the doorknob rattles as whoever is on the other side tries to open it. Yelena snorts to herself even as her eyes flutter for a moment. Heh, Red Room was getting sloppy these days…

Then the door slams open and every last ounce of her strength goes into lifting her arm and pulling the trigger as a big fucking bastard of a man pushes his way into the room.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Her damn gun is too small caliber from the look of things though. Every bullet hits center mass, but he just keeps coming and boy is he massive, easily tall enough to almost scrape his head along the ceiling.

Yelena keeps firing though, even as he comes right for her, until her gun is empty and clicking. She'd put another magazine in, but she doesn't have the strength. Instead, she throws the handgun at the bastard's head… but it just bounces off, same as the bullets.

He stops in front of her and Yelena coughs up a bit of blood as she laughs.

"Just… do it. You… fucking bastard. Just fucking… do it."

"Yelena!"

… What? Yelena's eyes widen as a familiar voice she never thought she'd hear again comes from behind the unmoving giant of a man. He could have crushed her head in one hand, but he doesn't. In fact, he takes a step back, making room for Natasha to come out from behind him.

Yelena gapes at the sight of the fellow Black Widow. The closest thing she'd had to a sister in another life. Natasha actually looks worried for her. Afraid for her. She comes up to Yelena and grabs her frantically, looking over her.

"Fuck, you've been shot."

"… Heh. You came."

As Natasha checks her over, she huffs.

"O-Of course I did. You sent me our song. I had to come. Either to find you… or kill whoever was trying to emulate you."

Yeah, that sounded like Natasha. Yelena smiles tiredly, even as her vision swims. Damn, it's getting hard to concentrate. Getting hard to think straight.

"We need to get you out of here! We can help you!"

"Mm… nah. Been… days. Couldn't go to a hospital. Too late… fer me."

Natasha doesn't respond, looking to the giant of a man instead. Giant of a man… and two other women flanking him on either side. The man looks worried for Yelena, despite the fact that she'd just tried to unload a magazine into him. He doesn't even look winded.

"… We probably shouldn't move her, right? Let's call Madelyne, we can get her here fast."

Madelyne? Who was Madelyne?

"She might not be fast enough. Thaddeus… please."

The giant, apparently named Thaddeus, grimaces.

"Natasha, you know what my version requires…"

At her side, Natasha nods resolutely.

"I know. I'll h-help."

Wha? What was even happening? What were they talking about here? Yelena can barely keep her eyes open and as they drift shut, she's left listening. One of the other two women pipes up before Natasha can leave her side.

"No, stay with her. I'll handle it. Come here, Thaddeus."

"Fuck, this is so fucked up…"

"It's either that or let her die. Now come on."

Yelena isn't quite sure what to make of the noises she hears next. A zipper? Some… sucking sounds? She goes in and out of consciousness as Natasha holds her. Until finally…

"Yelena. Please Yelena, you can be angry at me later… just drink this. It will heal you."

Heal her? The fuck was Natasha talking about? Still, the other woman is lifting a cup to her lips and Yelena… well, it's not like she has anything left to lose. She opens and lets the viscous liquid within slide into her mouth. Its kind of salty, kind of sweet… weirdly tasty.

Her nose wrinkles in confusion, but she swallows all the same. She swallows and swallows, until the cup is emptied. Only near the end, as she's drinking down the last gulp, does Yelena's fuzzy, barely cognizant mind put together everything she just heard and what she just tasted.

"… Tasha did you just…"

But before she can mumble out any other words, something strange starts to happen. A very weird, not unpleasant sensation starts to fill her gut. Yelena squirms, whimpering as her bandages start to itch like crazy. Reaching down, Natasha pulls them off, unraveling them and dragging them away. She wants to stop her, wants to tell her not to, but a moment later and it's too late.

Except… also a moment later, Yelena starts to feel better. She starts to feel good. She starts to feel REALLY good. Blinking her eyes back open, Yelena Belova lifts her head and stares down at her exposed abdomen just as the bullet she couldn't manage to extract on her own pushes its way out of her rapidly healing gut.

She gapes in shock as mere moments later, Natasha wipes the blood away from her belly to reveal completely clean, blemish-free skin. Not even a fucking scar.

"Yelena… how are you feeling?"

Looking from her abs up at Natasha, Yelena's mouth opens and closes a few times before she finally finds her voice. Her tone is dry as she sits back in the chair, kind of floored by what just happened.

"I feel like you just fed me magical healing cum to save my life, Natasha."

An awkward silence falls over the room, though now that she's back to one hundred percent (maybe even better than one hundred percent?!) Yelena can see that its only awkward for two out of the four other people in the room with her.

Natasha winces while the giant of a man who tanked an entire magazine of bullets grimaces. The other two women, one of which apparently just jacked him off to save her life, don't look even remotely bothered.

"You were dying, Yelena. You were fading fast. I had to-!"

"Nah, I think I could probably have lasted long enough for that Madelyne chick you mentioned to show up. I assume her healing would have been less sexual."

"You-!"

But Natasha cuts herself off… because she sees the slight upturn of one of the corners of Yelena's mouth and realizes that she's being fucked with. The truth was, Yelena didn't have any time left at all. From the moment that she realized Natasha had come for her, Yelena… had been ready to die.

She didn't even realize until now that she was holding out for that, waiting and struggling to stay alive just on the very slim chance that Natasha somehow walked through that door. But when she finally did, Yelena really thought that was it. That she could finally die happy.

Except obviously, that wasn't what happened. Huffing, she pushes up off of the chair. Natasha immediately fusses over her, but Yelena just rolls her eyes and pushes the other woman away… or rather, tries to. She feels like she's at the top of her game, completely healed… but when she shoves Natasha, it's like shoving a brick wall. She doesn't get anywhere.

"Fuck 'Tasha, the hell are you made of?"

Huffing, Natasha pulls back of her own accord, giving Yelena some space and crossing her arms over her chest.

"… I'm glad you're alright, Yelena. I'm sorry about what we had to do to heal you in time, but I'm not sorry we did it."

Sheesh, so much fucking emotion. Natasha could be so sappy. Rolling her eyes, Yelena shrugs.

"'S fine."

Then, she looks to the man. Who she now realizes is actually pretty young. Not 'boy' young, but he's kind of got a bit of a baby face going on despite being so fucking tall.

"Thaddeus, right?"

The guy slowly nods, looking a little upset.

"Err, yeah. Sorry… about this."

His cock was already tucked back away in his pants before she'd even fully healed, so all Yelena can do is glance down at his crotch speculatively for a moment before snorting in derision.

"For what? Healing me? Saving my life?"

"… For feeding you my 'magical healing cum'."

Heh. That deadpan delivery and that exasperated look on his face… Yelena decides she likes this 'Thaddeus' fellow right then and there. Fuck it, she'll like all of them, even if she doesn't know a damn thing about the blonde or the dark haired bitches (aside from that one of them was willing to suck off Thaddeus just to help save her life.)

Of course, if she's going to like all of them… then she should probably get out of here.

"I need to go. Before they associate you lot with me."

But Natasha stops her with a hand of iron on her arm.

"Yelena, wait! Who is they? Who did this to you?"

Yelena furrows her brow in disbelief. Both because Natasha is way stronger than she should be, but also because… she's being kind of dense right now.

"Who else, 'Tasha? Red Room did this to me. And I don't want them coming after you so we all need to leave before they track me to this building."

Natasha looks shocked by her words, though Yelena can't really imagine why. However, before she can respond, one of the other women, the blonde, cuts in.

"Too late for that. They've already found us and surrounded the building."

Yelena's eyes widen and she curses, not even bothering to ask how the fuck the other blonde knows. It's obvious by this point that none of these people are exactly normal. Case in point, the raven haired one tilts her head to the side, looking at one of the walls.

"… It's fine though. Between Emma and myself, we have things under control. You have time to talk."

Okay, now Yelena has questions. What did that even mean, 'under control'? What were the two even doing?

"Yelena… you were supposed to be dead. I thought… my first mission with SHIELD when I defected was to kill Dreykov. I asked them to find out your status for me as well. SHIELD told me after I killed Dreykov that you were gone."

Blinking, Yelena gives Natasha an incredulous look. SHIELD? Those… losers? Wow, talk about a downgrade. Then again, maybe Yelena didn't know shit if this group was what SHIELD was capable of fielding.

"They lied to you. Or they were just fucking wrong. And Dreykov is still alive too. He's gave me my last mission in person two weeks ago in fact."

Natasha looks shocked to her core. More so than Yelena has ever seen her. After a moment, she shrugs and continues on.

"… The mission was to track down a former Black Widow, a defector like you. Or maybe not like you, since she actually knew shit about the Red Room and their latest methods. Enough to free me from their control."

That gets not just Natasha's attention, but the attention of everyone in the room. Suddenly, Thaddeus looks very interested as he steps forward, his hands curling into fists at his sides.

"Control?"

Yelena just nods sharply.

"Da. Chemical control. Don't even know how long… but I guess not too long if Natasha here didn't even know about it."

That was nice. Nice to know it'd probably only been mere months instead of years and years. Though from the looks that everyone else in the room is exchanging… hm, maybe this could work. It was a long shot though…
