There must be something wrong with me
Chapter 514 - 201: Extended Technology Plan of the ’Three Souls and Seven Spirits’ _2
CHAPTER 514: CHAPTER 201: EXTENDED TECHNOLOGY PLAN OF THE ’THREE SOULS AND SEVEN SPIRITS’ _2
Because they no longer have a brain (memory).
But in a mythical world like Journey to the West, souls are very powerful and might be capable of carrying some memories.
Only then would one need to drink ’Meng Po Soup’ and such.
Thinking about this.
Zhang Feng feels that ’unlocking the mystery of the soul’ is the key to entering the Nascent Soul stage.
Also, according to his high-dimensional theories from over a decade ago, if the Golden Core and Nascent Soul are truly four-dimensional, and Divinity Transformation and Void Comprehension are five-dimensional.
Then indeed, after the soul reaches the Nascent Soul stage, it becomes a ’thoughtless’ four-dimensional entity within the body.
Then, during Divinity Transformation, the Nascent Soul’s spirit (soul), combined with thoughts (brain thinking), influences the outside world through spiritual matter and the soul, naturally becoming the theoretical five-dimensional being.
Zhang Feng hunches it should be like this, then how to analyze the soul.
This is quite amusing.
However, the ancestral Daoists also have a theory, the ’Three Souls and Seven Spirits’, among which the Seven Spirits are joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, hatred, and desire.
The Three Souls are heaven, earth, and man.
Regarding heaven, earth, and man.
Heaven represents wisdom and thinking, earth governs will and action, and the last, man, represents lifespan.
He feels he has met these standards, at least far surpassing the people in this world.
So how could he not step into the Nascent Soul stage?
Moreover, if we delve deeper, if ’heaven’ is the ’laws of the heavenly Dao’, ’earth’ carrying all virtues, and ’man’ represents the more complex ’seven emotions and six desires’.
Heavenly soul, he has observed some rules of the heavenly laws, like the laws of fortune and related celestial studies.
Earthly soul, he has learned about the earth bearing all virtues in reality and some other worlds.
Finally, regarding the human soul, because of the little carp, he happens to gather the final piece of love.
Since he has touched these rules, he should have reached the critical point.
Then, what exactly is missing?
After all, in this world, there were once True Men who reached the Nascent Soul, proving that this world can be ’transcended’.
This transcendence is unrelated to Spiritual Qi, as it is about cultivating one’s soul, allowing it to fuse with the Golden Core, producing a real Nascent Soul.
Under such theory, as long as there is Spiritual Qi, there should be the faint sign of such fusion.
Even if due to low Spiritual Qi, the soul cannot be materially manifested, preventing the step into Nascent Soul, the premonitions should still exist.
And in his ’fortune calculation’, this world has no suppression from the heavenly Dao.
Yet now, he cannot succeed.
Zhang Feng is curious.
Could it be that he doesn’t have enough ’fear’?
Upon careful consideration, he realizes he hasn’t been afraid of many things.
But in the past, he has experienced fear many times, such as the fear of the deep sea and early adventures where he feared the aging of his family. There have been plenty of fearful moments.
Desire, he seldom has, rarely, indeed.
But the desire to learn is his greatest want.
You could even say, desire is something inherently present in people, as long as they’re alive.
A person without desires is nonexistent.
If they existed, they would have starved to death long ago.
After all, people must have a desire to eat, right?
Even in mythological tales, gods achieving immortality through non-desire; if they truly had no desires, how would they become Immortal?
Even if one becomes Immortal through non-desire, that is still a desire, because they wish for non-desire and to experience the nature of Non-action, which in itself is still a desire.
As for other emotions like joy, anger, sorrow, and bliss, he has experienced them thoroughly.
Every technological progression in reality, coupled with the global intensification of computational power, makes him genuinely experience joy, anger, sorrow, and bliss anew.
So he shouldn’t be missing anything.
Zhang Feng is also troubled, not knowing what he lacks or how to judge what is missing.
Because the ’soul’ is invisible, there’s no progress bar, nor can any specific value be displayed.
Were it not for these theories as evidence.
Zhang Feng might actually deny the existence of the ’soul’.
It’s unlike his Spiritual Thought, which has a substantial foundation.
Spiritual Thought derives from thinking and combines with material Spiritual Qi, it has a foundation.
Like if Spiritual Thought is lacking something, or has impurities.
He can always discern such things.
Indeed, that is the case.
Zhang Feng feels the system of soul cultivation is genuinely difficult, for there is nothing to draw from, relying entirely on his deductions.
Maybe, based on all previous conceptions.
When he returns to reality, he can hand the calculations to the virtual building and superconductor buildings.
Moreover, he could massively disseminate cultivation methods, providing a greater extent of refinement for the Golden Core’s structure.
However, compared to prior mere refinement.
Now a new subject has been added, the Nascent Soul and the soul.
If he truly touches the soul, allowing technology to certify its existence.
Zhang Feng feels virtual technology, along with spirituality studies, neurology, and others, will have a huge breakthrough.
Even if one could replicate a soul, along with a person’s brain thoughts and complete neurons.
To a large extent, such technological integration is equivalent to crafting a ’technological Underworld of the Six Paths of Reincarnation’ within reality.
It would fully enable a form of ’pseudo-immortality’ or ’pseudo-reincarnation’.
Of course, this utterly contravenes common sense.
It would surely incite tremendous uproar and debate, more terrifying than immortality through consciousness upload.
Because consciousness upload, at the core, resides in a Virtual World, and is solely ’digital thought’.
This can be considered a ’pseudo-person’, as ’he’ is no longer the same, but rather data thought.
However, the ’soul’, is the true self, the True Man.
If a soul and digital thought combined, and were transplanted into a new body, it would indeed be reincarnation and immortality.
