    Happy times passed quickly. Before they knew it, it was the weekend–the final day of the first episode of Love on the Road.

    In the evening, when Jessica and the others got back from outside, they could smell the strong scent of barbecued meating from inside before even walking in.

    “Wow, Raymond, are we having barbecue tonight?” Lillian’s eyes lit up right away. She ran inside to find Raymond.

    “Yes, but first, we’re going to y a little game,” Raymond said, turning around with a smile as he directed the crew to set up the activity area.

    “I knew it,” Lillian pouted. Today was thest day of filming. When they went out that morning, there were no extra tasks, and she’d wondered about it. Turned out it was saved for the evening.

    “What game is it, Raymond? You won’t go out of your way to trick us, will you?” Lillian asked.

    Vanessa followed Lillian in, as usual, giving Raymond a flirty smile. But out of the corner of her eye, she kept watching Brian, who was walking slowly with Jessica.

    Vanessa wondered, ‘Brian’s so tall. He could easily have walked inside in a few steps. Doesn’t he

    get tired of slowing down to match Jessica’s pace?‘

    “Of course not. I said our show was rxed,” Raymondughed. He waited until everyone was inside before announcing the game rules.

    He said, “This game is called True Love’s Kiss. See the barbecued meat and ingredients in the dining area? Later, which team gets to eat meat and which eats vegetables will depend on which pair can hold their true love’s kiss the longest. Any objections?”

    As soon as he said that, the live streamments went wild.

    Jessica froze for a second. When she recovered, she instinctively looked at Brian, only to find his eyes were already on her.

    “I bet you wouldn’t dare,” Jessica said, trying to lighten the awkwardness between them with a yful tone.

    Brian gave her an eager smile. For a moment, the air between them felt more flirtatious than before.

    Connor watched Jessica and Brian interacting and looked at Sabrina, who was as calm as ever. He couldn’t help feeling frustrated.

    Connor thought, ‘Am I really that bad? Why couldn’t I get her to respond?‘

    Sabrina noticed his stare, looked up, and gave him a warning nce. “Don’t mess things upter.”
