This Holy Knight is So Despicable!
Chapter 503 - 424: Falling into Demonhood, Immortal Bone
CHAPTER 503: CHAPTER 424: FALLING INTO DEMONHOOD, IMMORTAL BONE
Crack!
The massive Blood Cocoon showed cracks, immediately energizing the two bored individuals standing by.
Immediately after, countless black mists erupted from the fissures, swiftly engulfing the entire Holy Flame Bone City.
The Holy Flame at the center of the underground city began to flicker, and Lette frowned, promptly kicking the Blood Cocoon away.
The massive cocoon traced an arc across the sky, trailing black smoke, and crashed heavily against a mountain outside the city.
With a loud bang, the Blood Cocoon exploded instantly. A dark figure flew out and landed right in front of Lette and Lilith.
"Greetings, Master!"
Lette looked down to see that the Immortal Bone had dramatically transformed.
Lilith seemingly did this intentionally, as Immortal Bone now had a pair of curved Demon’s Horns on his forehead, covered in Magic Patterns, and exuding an ominous aura.
"Lilith, did you forget to remove the demon’s part?"
"Oops, seems like I did!"
Lilith smiled awkwardly, "I was so focused on extracting the Power of Profanation from the Malice that I might have forgotten about the Demon Power."
"No worries, this is even better."
Lette seemed satisfied with Immortal Bone’s transformation, "In this case, even if Immortal Bone falls into demonhood.
We can’t call it Immortal Bone anymore; it should be Corpse Demon now.
Hmm, that’s not quite right, lift your head!"
Corpse Demon quickly lifted his head, revealing an eye growing on his forehead.
Lette examined it closely, realizing with a start.
This third Heavenly Eye was exactly what Lilith had formed from the Magic Crystal Remains.
"Unexpectedly, you’ve had such an encounter. From now on, you’ll be called Three Eyed."
Corpse Demon promptly knelt again, "Praise you, mighty Master! Three Eyed will forever be your most devoted servant!"
"Very well, then next..."
Lette pointed towards the distant White Bone Plain, "Go, solve the problems for me."
"Yes, Master!"
Three Eyed Corpse Demon immediately retreated two steps, then surrounded by Demonic Qi, soared high into the sky heading towards the White Bone Plain.
Lilith watched Corpse Demon’s departing figure, unable to help but exclaim, "So powerful, it feels like his strength is sufficient to rival some high-tier Gods!"
"Not only that, with your Power of Profanation and Demon Power blessing him. Moreover, he was already an advanced Immortal Bone, even handling those five unlucky guys simultaneously is manageable.
They will inevitably become Three Eyed’s live sacrifices.
We just need to wait for him to bring back the good news of victory."
Lilith looped her arm through Lette’s, "Remember, when we find the Desecrated Temple, you owe me compensation."
"Don’t worry, just not too much."
While the two were chatting and laughing carefreely in the Holy Flame Bone City, the leaders of the five factions on White Bone Plain were on the verge of collapse.
Fight, they couldn’t win.
Develop, they couldn’t outdo.
Within two days after the great battle, the infrastructure of White Bone Plain had already been built right to the doorstep of their four factions.
In the Knight Domain, it was constructed directly to the capital’s doorstep.
Cang Yan Knight looked at the towering Arrow Towers, high walls, the dark cannon eyes, trembling with the Soul Flame.
Their capital, compared to the opponent’s frontier fortress, seemed like a child’s playful sandcastle on the beach.
Let’s not talk about a proper battle, it felt like a toy remote car could crush it.
The other four weren’t faring any better.
The defense structures built to their doorsteps were each more exaggerated than the last.
Also, possibly due to having too many prisoners from the last great battle, their strong units were thoroughly known by the Fierce Zombies.
The army assembled before their gates was specifically targeted.
These one or two days, the five leaders were rather cautious.
Because they could see, that these Fierce Zombies seemed to have idled a bit.
Previously they were bustling, with endless work and energy every day.
But now, most of them had relaxed, standing on the walls looking down, appearing a bit restless.
What’s up, are you addicted to construction or farming? Can’t you take a break? Don’t you want to rest?
Among the Gods, there’s always been a saying, that the Favoured significantly resemble their Gods.
Due to the relationship between the two, the God’s immensely powerful Divine Soul would gradually assimilate their Believers.
The more fanatical the Believer, the more steadfast the faith, the more thorough the assimilation!
Some Gods are stern and serious, so their followers are also unsmiling.
Some Gods are lively and humorous, so their followers are also articulate.
Some Gods consider this phenomenon similar to how yellow light attracts moths that like yellow light.
Yet most Gods still believe that a God’s influence over their Believer is profound and imperceptible.
From a God’s follower, one can discern the God’s character and preferences, sometimes even what the God was unaware of.
The five leaders were perplexed; could the insane Holy Sin Wright actually be a principled man who loves farming and construction?
Impossible!
This absolutely cannot be!
But, the evidence was right before their eyes!
These Fierce Zombies weren’t followers due to doctrine; they were the Favoured personally created by him.
No one would be more influenced by his soul’s true nature than these Favoured.
Could it be that the man genuinely loves peace?
Just as this unrealistic conclusion formed in the minds of the five leaders, a dangerous event finally occurred.
It seemed the emotions reached a critical point of explosion, and a large number of Fierce Zombies suddenly leapt over their built walls, launching a frenzied attack on their territories.
The five leaders were utterly panicked; they never expected that the Fierce Zombies of White Bone Plain would be audacious enough to wage war against all five factions simultaneously?
Even if your strength is formidable, you can’t do this!
However, they quickly realized, this didn’t seem like an attack, but more of a venting!
The lack of land and construction led to emotional outbursts.
After repelling each faction’s defensive forces, the Fierce Zombies immediately stopped the assault and peacefully began farming and building on the newly occupied land.
As if the prior madness never occurred.
Was it truly an illusion?
If so, why had their lands become occupied?
In a blink of an eye, new walls had already been built two or three meters high, wasn’t their speed too fast!
Unfortunately, the newly occupied area was too small to satisfy so many emotionally charged Fierce Zombies.
The Zombie tide erupted once more, causing the five factions to lose a large portion of their territories again.
How can things continue like this!
The five leaders were incredibly shocked, realizing that continual retreat would eventually lead to being completely swallowed.
But just as they were about to unite once again, a piece of news came forth.
The Cang Yan Knight had been slain.
