Three Treasures: Spoiled Wife Goes Wild
Chapter 1576: So Happy
CHAPTER 1576: CHAPTER 1576: SO HAPPY
Annie Anne had completed the discharge procedures, so Charlotte Thompson took the children and left together with Annie Anne and Oliver Hudson.
Because of Annie Anne’s sudden hospitalization, the film crew gave her a few days off. Charlotte invited Annie to her home for dinner.
The other children missed Annie very much, and naturally, Annie did not refuse and accepted Charlotte’s invitation.
Perhaps excited about Annie being able to return with them, Olivia Thompson and Grace Thompson were in high spirits along the way, chatting non-stop beside Annie.
This made Charlotte a bit worried that the two children might disturb Annie, who had just been discharged.
Annie seemed to notice Charlotte’s concern, quietly shook her head towards her, and then earnestly listened to the two children’s conversation.
Seeing the softness in Annie’s expression, Charlotte decided not to say anything further.
Before long, the group returned to the villa.
When Charlotte was preparing to leave, she had already sent a message to Justin Battleson, who had picked up the children from kindergarten and arrived at the villa earlier than Charlotte and Annie.
When Charlotte returned, the children were eagerly waiting outside the villa for her to bring back Olivia and Grace.
Charlotte hadn’t mentioned that Annie would come, so the children were pleasantly surprised to see her.
"Godmother Annie!"
"Godmother Annie, long time no see! Why did it take you so long to visit us?"
They rushed over one by one, instantly surrounding Annie, who greeted each of them warmly and responded quickly.
However, the children were more concerned about the check-up results from Charlotte taking Grace to the hospital today.
When Charlotte shared the news about Grace’s heart condition being a match, the children’s reactions were quite unexpected for Charlotte.
Especially Chad Thompson, who surprisingly burst into tears, which startled Charlotte. She quickly went over to hug him.
Other than Olivia, Chad was the youngest of the children, and he was relatively introverted and soft-hearted, but Charlotte hadn’t seen him cry much before.
His current reaction caught Charlotte off guard.
"What’s wrong, Chad? Why are you crying?" Charlotte asked, reaching out to gently rub Chad’s head to comfort him.
"It’s nothing, I’m just so happy," Chad replied, knowing he was a bit too emotional at the moment. He wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes.
Chad sniffled, his voice still slightly choked, "Grace’s illness can be treated. I’m really happy she won’t suffer so much anymore."
When Grace was first diagnosed with a heart condition, her health was very poor, and intense emotions or activities would often make her heart feel uncomfortable.
Charlotte then remembered that once Grace fainted while playing a game with Chad.
Chad seemed quite frightened at that time and became more cautious around Grace after that.
Hearing that Grace’s illness could be cured, Chad’s tearful state was naturally one of joy.
Seeing this, Grace quickly stepped up to Chad, reaching out to touch his shoulder.
