    “Papa! Uncle Sam!” Rose shouts as she continues to look for the other two. She runs back and forth trying to find Cal and Sam.

    “You might want to go look over at that tree,” Mark says as points his head in the direction of arge maple tree. He stands to his full height and tries to pop his back.

    Rose takes of running towards the maple tree. She lets out a giggle as she touches the tree. Rose looks around it to see if she can spot someone hiding around. She circles the tree twice before she puts her hands on her hips. She looks at Mark and pouts.

    He justughs at her expression. Mark points upwards towards the branches.

    Rose huffs and takes a few steps backwards. She looks up into the branches. “Found Uncle Sam!” Rose shouts as she points upwards at the Gamma.

    Sam res at Mark as he starts to climb down. When he gets to the lowest branch, which is still twenty feet up in the air, he jumps down and out of the tree.

    Roseughs and takes off to find Cal. She whips her head back and forth as she looks for her other father.

    “Have fun up in the tree?” Iugh as Sam pulls a leaf from his hair.

    “Would have won if Mark hadn’t pointed me out,” Sam pouts.

    I start tough harder. I amughing so hard that I start to wheeze. Sam, Mr. Broody, is pouting because he did not win hide and seek. Although I should have seen thising. He had cheated and gone into the house to be able to find Rose and I “first“.

    Mark walks up to us and raises an eyebrow at me. “You okay darling?” he asks me.

    “No,” I finally get out. I continue tough. I double over fromughing so hard. I am finally able to

    get my breath back.

    “Okay, let’s go find Rosebud and Cal,” Mark says as he gives me another look.

    I nod my head and follow Mark. Laughs continue to escape me as I follow him around the house.

    Rose runs up the steps. She looks around on the porch. Once she is satisfied that Cal is not up there,

    shees down and checks the bushes again. She goes back up onto the porch. Rose knocks on the

    front door as she cannot reach the door nob.

    Uncle Mike answers the door a minuteter. “Yes, munchkin?” Uncle Mike asks as he holds in a

    “Papa in there?” Rose demands, her little hands on her hips.

    Uncle Mike does his best not tough at Rose as he answers, “No, Cal is not in here. I suggest looking under the porch.”

    Rose nods her head in a very serious manner. She turns around on her heels and walks down the steps. She starts to look through thettice work to see if she can spot Cal. “Papa! Where is you!” Rose calls as she continues to look. Rose continues on her walk as she tries to find Cal. She walks

    around the back side of the house.

    I make my way to the opening to get under the porch where I could smell him. I quickly crawl under the porch and settle down beside my missing mate. “There are spiders down here,” I whisper as I eye a spider web.

    Cal smirks and presses a kiss to my temple. “You did not have to join me under here,” he tells me.

    “True, but I don’t think that Rose was going to find you without help,” I whisper.

    “Uncle Michael gave her a clue,” he points out, but starts to shift closer to the opening so Rose can

    find him.

    I stifle a gasp as I feel something crawl over my leg. “Nope,” I practically shout. I scurry out from under the porch as fast as I am able to. “Nope!” I bat at my legs to make sure that there are no spiders or other bugs on me.

    Mark isughing as hees closer to me. “Everything okay?” he asks.

    “Spiders,” I shudder.

    “You’re still afraid?” Mark asks me with a smile.

    “I hate those damn things,” I hiss at him as I feel phantom touches of spidery touches. I need a shower to wash away the feeling

    “Mama?” Rose asks as she sees me spasming out.

    “Spider,” I shudder.

    “I get him!” Rose shouts excitedly.

    I stop spasming and smile at my pup. Rose knows how much I hate spiders. She on the other hand, finds them fascinating. Ever since she started to be able to walk around on her own. She would find the creepy little things and wobble after them. She would shoo them away from me.

    “Papa, you find a spidder?” Rose asks as she sees Cal crawl out from under the porch.

    “I left the spiders under the porch where they live,” he tells her.

    “Okay, mommy don’t like dem,” she pouts.

    “I know. She has never liked spiders,” Cal says as he picks up Rose.

    “Good, you are all here,” Uncle Will says as he walks towards us.

    “Are the results in?” I ask. It hasn’t been that long. I thought it was supposed to take two hours at

    least.

    “Gretchen will be along in a little over an hour,” Uncle Will assures me.

    I breathe out a sigh that I hadn’t realized that I had been holding.

    “Why are you here?” Mark asks as he wraps his arms around my waist in an attempt to keep me

    grounded.

    “Besides the fact that I live here?” he challenges.

    We all stare at him as we wait for his response.

    “I forgot to eat breakfast,” he sighs at us. Uncle Will walks towards the front door and goes inside.

    “It that the real reason why he came home?” I ask my mates.

    “My guess is that he did not want to know the results before us. Being at the hospital he would have ess to the results,” Cal tells me.

    I nod my head. That makes sense. I shudder again as the phantom feels of spider legs are back. “I’m going to go shower,” I tell my mates.

    “You continue to y hide and seek,” Iugh as I give him a quick kiss before I dart inside.

    ‘Give a mind link if you want anything,‘ Cal purrs in my head.

    I stumble on my way to my room at the pictures that sh through my head. I shake my head to clear my thoughts.
