Too Late, Mr. Billionaire: You can’t afford me now
Chapter 1277
?Chapter 1277:
“That’s no trouble at all!” A replied without the slightest hesitation, pulling her phone from her bag. “So, Mr. Scott, I’m not sure if we’ve shared contact information before. It would be easier for us to stay in touch if we had each other’s numbers.”
“Sure.”
Eric thought for a moment before agreeing.
They both took out their phones and began exchanging contact details.
“Your injury…” Eric gestured toward A’s arm once he had returned his phone to his pocket. “I can make arrangements for someone to take you to the hospital. You should have that checked thoroughly.”
“There’s really no need for that,” A said with a light smile, waving off the concern. “It’s nothing serious, just a small scrape…”
“You shouldn’t refuse,” Eric cut in firmly, not allowing her to brush it off. “You were hurt because of something that involved Hadley, and I can’t overlook that.”
He looked toward the bodyguard who had been standing by. “Escort Miss Ramirez to the hospital right away.”
“Yes, Mr. Scott. Miss Ramirez, pleasee this way.”
“Alright, I’ll head over now.” A smiled softly, pressing her lips together in appreciation. “Thank you for this, Mr. Scott.”
“You’re wee.” Eric gave her a brief nod and gestured for her to proceed. “Go on.”
“Goodbye, Mr. Scott!”
“Goodbye.”
“Mr. Scott!”
“Mr. Scott!”
The photographer and the brand representative rushed over once they were informed by the crew that Eric had arrived on set.
“It’s an honor to have you here. Really, we should’vee to greet you earlier.”
“We’ve been inattentive. Please forgive the oversight.”
“There’s no need for that. I’m only here to pick Hadley up. Please continue with what you’re doing.”
Their conversation remained polite and courteous.
Just as Eric lifted his gaze, he saw Hadley emerging in a different outfit. The shoot must have wrapped.
She passed by him without a nce, as though she hadn’t noticed his presence at all.
“Excuse me,” Eric said quickly, turning to the photographer and the brand representative. “My girlfriend is here. I’ll be going now.”
“Of course, Mr. Scott. Please go ahead.”
“Safe travels, Mr. Scott.”
The two exchanged a nce filled with meaning as they watched him walk away.
“Is the rumor about Mr. Scott and Hadley true?”
“It certainly looks that way. Seems like they’re still involved.”
“That would exin a lot. Think about it—how else would Hadley have gained so much so quickly? The regional president clearly made a clever choice for this endorsement. He must have been aware.”
“Exactly.”
