Chapter 192: Mason Nightshade Falls in Love with Someone and Never Changes His Heart
Merely because of her indifference, he had almost collapsed in madness.
So now, what about divorce?
Grayson Quinn seemed to understand why Mason Nightshade had been using work to numb himself lately.
He thought, he might be the third person most aware of the entangled and complex relationship between them.
Perhaps divorce is the best outcome for both of them?
Grayson Quinn wouldn't make this decision for Mason Nightshade; he knows Mason's temperament well. Once he is determined, he will not turn back. When he loves someone, he will never change his heart, arguably the most loyal person in the world.
"Is it impossible to stop loving once you've fallen in love?" Aurelia Shaw said calmly. "Didn't the Buddha also say, 'the sea of suffering is boundless, turn back to the shore'?"
"Mason Nightshade wouldn't."
"What?"
Grayson Quinn turned to look at her and said seriously, "If Mason Nightshade loves someone, he will not change. As long as he has a memory, he will not change his heart."
Aurelia Shaw was slightly stunned, then a mocking sneer appeared on her lips, "Really? But what does that have to do with me, since I'm not the one he loves."
Grayson Quinn looked at Aurelia in surprise, opened his mouth as if to say something, then swallowed it back down.
Forget it, let them solve these things themselves, lest he gets more entangled and Mason Nightshade comes looking for him to settle accounts.
The car stopped at the entrance of a bar. Aurelia Shaw looked up at it, then turned to Grayson Quinn, who was getting out of the parked car, and raised an eyebrow to question him, "Is this the nice place you mentioned?"
Grayson Quinn adjusted his hat in the rearview mirror, hiding his buzz cut, turned back, and gave Aurelia an alluring smile, "Don't rush, the fun is inside, let's go."
Grayson Quinn entered first. Aurelia looked suspiciously at his back, then glanced at the drunken patrons coming and going, sighed inwardly, and followed his pace.
The lighting inside the bar was very dim, with many people moving around. Grayson didn't bother to look after her, striding ahead with large steps. Aurelia deftly maneuvered, skillfully avoiding one man after another attempting to get close and take advantage.
Arriving at a relatively quiet booth, Aurelia couldn't hold back any longer, suppressing the subtle throbbing at her temples. She raised her eyebrows, her eyes coolly fixed on Grayson Quinn, "Interesting?"
Grayson's heart skipped a beat under her gaze. He had indeed intentionally left her behind, having been teased by her so many times; he wanted to see her embarrassed but didn't expect his intentions to be so easily seen through.
Grayson covered his mouth, awkwardly coughed, "Are you okay?"
"Thanks to you, you didn't get to see what you wanted to see," Aurelia said sarcastically, then frowned, "If this is your idea of fun, then you'd better be ready to owe me a favor."
"Of course, it's not this." Grayson laughed. A waiter came over to ask what they'd like to order. Aurelia, not good at making such decisions, let Grayson handle it entirely. Grayson didn't even glance at the menu and ordered a few drinks directly, pointing to the sofa opposite for Aurelia, "Sit here, this angle is good for watching the show."
Aurelia frowned at Grayson, unsure what he was up to, but still went over and sat on the sofa he pointed out. Casually lifting her gaze, her eyes flickered over a strikingly familiar figure—Aurelia's gaze froze, then slowly and dangerously narrowed.
Grayson was satisfied as he admired the expression on her face, "So? Didn't I say it'd be fun?"
