Looking into her eyes, which shimmered with Glamour's aura, even though the makeup artist had been admiring Aurelia Shaw's beauty during this period, they were still momentarily stunned by her stunning presence.

The scene being filmed today was quite simple, and Aurelia nailed each take in one go. However, Sawyer noticed she seemed a bit off, despite the excellent outcome.

As soon as filming wrapped, Aurelia immediately picked up her phone to see if there were any missed calls or messages, but unfortunately, there was nothing. Her eyes dimmed slightly, and a growing sense of unease loomed over her.

After a moment's contemplation, she called Ursa Miller.

"Did the young master come home last night?"

"The young master? He didn't come by last night," Ursa's voice replied over the phone.

"Okay, got it."

Aurelia hung up the phone, her knitted brows still clouded with concern. Mason Nightshade had never disappeared so abruptly before, and the Night family was probably in chaos now. How could he afford to play missing?

But she didn't have time to think about it for long because filming resumed quickly.

Aurelia had hardly any downtime today because she was quite efficient, and Sawyer wanted to make up for the time lost recently as soon as possible.

After the shoot, Sawyer approached with concern, "Aurelia, didn't you sleep well last night?"

Aurelia frowned and looked at him, "Is there a problem with my scenes?"

There wasn't an issue, but... "Why don't we take a rest today?" He feared she might not hold up in her current state.

"I'm fine." Aurelia politely declined Sawyer's kindness, stood up, and walked towards the filming location. "We've already delayed a lot, let's catch up as much as possible. If there's no issue with the scenes, let's continue shooting."

Simply waiting was too painful; being busy was the only way to keep her mind off other things.

Seeing Aurelia's resolve, Sawyer couldn't refuse, "Alright then, let's get ready for the next scene."

She remained busy until late at night, exhausted to the point she couldn't even lift her arms as she sat in the nanny van, closing her eyes wearily, "Did anyone call me today?"

"Yes," Amanda Fuller said, "Your phone rang several times just now."

Aurelia's eyes snapped open, she sat up straight, "Give me the phone."

Amanda, startled by her demeanor, immediately handed her the phone.

Aurelia opened her phone and saw a string of garbled text. Despite no notes, she knew it was a call from Grayson Quinn.

Using garbled text to call her was something only the uniquely positioned Grayson would do, and the multiple calls only meant one thing: Mason Nightshade was back and... discovered what she had done.

Aurelia closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, uncertain of what Mason would do next. He was never lenient with those who crossed him, and he might retaliate instantly.

With this realization, Aurelia felt a nerve tighten, planning her next moves in her mind.

The car suddenly braked without warning, Amanda turned pale, her soul seemed absent, her whole body rigidly frozen in her seat.

Aurelia's eyes shot open, and she saw a car blocking their path. A cold, enigmatic figure stepped out of that car, approached theirs, glanced around the vehicle, and finally, their gaze heavily locked onto Aurelia.
