Tower's Richest Player: My Coins Won't Stop Increasing
Chapter 114: Value of a Class
CHAPTER 114: VALUE OF A CLASS
"So how does this work? I shove my Aura in you and make a core like the mages help their apprentices create a Mana ring?" With a bewildered expression, she asked him as soon as Ziggy was ready for the practice.
"It’s not the same. You know better than anyone else here what will happen to me if you try shoving your Aura inside me forcefully." He shrugged and shook his head as if it was a simple thing.
But she found it absurd since she in fact knew just how dangerous that would be.
"Then at least tell me what I have to do, dummy." She smacked him again, this time a little harder now that he has recovered. "Aww... hey! I know! I was just about to explain!"
Mana was a common energy that was identical for everyone unless one was talking about the Archmages who produce their own unique Mana, or a higher being that used a unique kind of Mana.
It was common practice for the experienced mages to help their students create their first Mana rings with their own energy by guiding their Mana through their Mana circuits.
The process wasn’t simple and it took a long time to complete as well. Since an expert was helping them, the chances of danger were much lower.
If a mage failed to create a Mana ring, as long as their Heart (Middle Dantian) was intact, they could try again with a good enough willpower.
The process was not simple nor painless. She knew very well just how much trouble they all go through.
If they tried doing the same thing as they do with Aura, the process itself would be catastrophic because of the uniqueness of All Aura.
"We don’t have to use Aura in the process. In fact I will be suppressing my Aura in this process." Ziggy started his explanation with a calm tone.
When someone with Aura tried to push their Aura in someone else’s body who also possesses Aura, the two different kinds of Aura would undoubtedly collide and there would be a clash of energies within the bodies.
When that kind of clash happens outside of the body, it creates a strong explosion. However, inside the body where other energies and the important organs are present, the results are far more catastrophic and life threatening.
"I will suppress my Aura as much as possible and we will fight like we have done until now. However, you will still use your Aura."
All unique Auras naturally opposed one another unless they possessed a unique [Harmonious] nature.
With the opposing elemental natures of their Aura, the Icy cold Aura of Captain Rose would clash even more fiercely with Ziggy’s burning Aura.
They had already experienced how powerful their clash’s impact was. If something like that were to happen inside of his body, he would no longer be alive... Well, that much was obvious.
However, unlike how they had done until now, if he were to fight her without Aura while she uses her Aura, her special Aura would induce a unique special reaction.
The Aura of someone that possessed a Class was special as it naturally tried to maintain a harmony that was different in many cases.
When they fought using this method, His Aura would try to resonate with the Aura of the opponent making the opponent’s Aura weaker.
Since he would be restricting the Aura use and compressing his Aura in his lower dantian, he would be forcing his Aura in a confined space that could actually store this power.
The Aura would be stored in this vessel little by little, condensing with the harmonizing effect of the opponent’s Aura.
It would not have been a plausible process when someone unskilled was doing it, the ’Aura Core’ was mainly used by the high paladins of the higher floor, not even the regular knights.
It was not something just anyone could create, making it a unique energy core even among the many present.
The dense and destructive energy wasn’t needed to be stored in a vessel anyway, it was far better to let it flow naturally.
Restricting it in any manner would make it much more difficult for the user, however, Captain Rose kind of understood the point he was making here.
"By restricting your Aura use, you will make it so that the energy is flowing within the body itself.
With that, you will be able to channel the energy without letting it out, and when you direct it towards the lower dantian that naturally seems to harmonize with the powerful energy, with the help of the additional harmonizing effect of my Aura, your energy will crystalize in the so-called core."
That was the theory, and the captain did not need long explanations to understand it.
"That is correct."
She understood the Aura well. As someone who had used the energy for a long, long time and was proficient in using it, she knew well just what kind of effects it could produce in different scenarios.
"This is... fascinating. I’ve never thought about this, huh." Captain Rose was fascinated by this reasoning.
She had been using Aura for many years now and she had tried everything one could try.
In terms of Aura manipulation mastery, she was perhaps more proficient than a higher floor Aura user.
The reason for that, perhaps, was her countless nightmarish nights fighting against the Red moon and the monsters it brought with it, or perhaps she was just good with it.
She did not know the reason she was so good with her Aura... in fact, before meeting him, she didn’t even know she was so much better at using Aura than someone who was actually skilled enough to use it well against her.
All her subordinates were much weaker than her. Under the 10th floor, she was perhaps the only one that actually possessed a class as well, and that very nature of her made her the most unique individual under the 10th floor.
"Your class makes you different from the others. It’s a special class born from the way you use your special Aura. A natural class awarded by the system." Ziggy commented right as she was wondering how her case was so unique.
She was aware that there were much stronger people outside of this floor, she had met some from the higher floors that she knew she would not defeat.
Ziggy was someone who had just started climbing the tower and he was still much stronger than anyone she had met on this floor, an outsider that she had fun playing with all these past few days.
She knew he was great, but then again, he did not have a class nor was he on the same level as her. They weren’t even talking about the skills here, but then again, she knew just how strong he was by now.
"So you’re saying it’s all because of the class?" She knew a class was a special designation within the system interface and that everyone would eventually obtain one as they climbed the tower.
She was an odd one to have a class despite being a resident of the tower floor, but she had never thought much about it.
It was simply a job-title to her. Being able to use a frosty Aura made her the Frost-Aura knight— or at least she had always thought that way.
But if what he was saying was true, then there was more to a class than just a name.
"A class is more special and valuable than you can imagine, Master."
Ziggy stood up and picked up his sword once again.
"You, especially, have just the right Class for this whole process to be possible."
He restricted his Aura and held his sword tighter. He knew the process would take about two weeks if they continued at a good intensity.
The Aura would slowly accumulate within his lower dantine and make a Core, the core would allow him to use a denser form of Aura that he could use much more freely thanks to the connection it would have with the Aura within the body.
"So, please help me. Teach me while you’re doing that as well... I want to learn more about you. About the life you have lived here."
She was a different person that must have lived a slightly different life compared to her version that he was familiar with. And even if that wasn’t the case, he would love to refresh his memories of the time she had spent in this world.
She was his master and teacher. Even if there was little he could learn from her in terms of swordplay, he wanted to learn more about this character, about the turbulent life she had lived.
"Hmmm... so you’re trying to seduce me, huh?" She took u[ her sword with a smile as well. She was happy to see the look in his eyes right now. "Well, it seems like I’m falling for it already."
She was strong, he knew that. But the things she said in times like these were so dangerous he was many times afraid of her.
"Let’s not chat now, please Master." Plus Ziggy couldn’t bring himself to call her anything other than master in times like these, making her grin wider.
She was the one in control, and talks like these only made things more awkward for him.
’Haaa...’
Well, he had never really been able to do anything about this.
After all, he could not hate her or be angry at her.
She was very special to him, after all...
