Tower's Richest Player: My Coins Won't Stop Increasing
Chapter 120: The Guild’s goals
CHAPTER 120: THE GUILD’S GOALS
"He used to be with the military, I heard."
"You can tell just by looking at him, no? He still looks pretty young for his age though."
"He shouldn’t be fifty, you know? Perhaps in his mid-forties? He is young."
"Forget that... guildmaster’s mom? Oh god, she’s so scary!"
"She was laughing like a witch, I sware... and the person with her? She’s the one that made the lab alongside her, right? She’s the same..."
"We shouldn’t be talking about our guild’s heads like this. What if they hear us and kick us out?"
"I’m pretty sure they can hear us already. They all are players as well, you see."
As the inauguration preparations came to an end and the innermost hall of the guild base was filled with all the player and non-player members of the guild, the stage was set and the guild executives had already gathered.
Izzy was checking up a few things with Kai while the parents were sitting at the back, chatting among themselves, looking at the guild members with their sharp eyes.
The vice guildmaster was a normal person like many others. However, unlike the other administration members, he still seemed to be working right now.
On the left side of the room were the lifestyle players who were going to be helping with the production and things related to the production while on the right side were the combat players.
Lia was thus on the left side while the rest of the group was on the right, but since they were sitting pretty close to one another at the very back, they did not seem apart from each other.
The different combat teams and people who had become acquaintances over the time they spent in this base, were also sitting closer to one another as they waited for the event to start.
The place was as attractive as the rest of the base with elements like a holographic projector, many items that the players found attractive, as well as normal refreshments that they could get on their own.
Here, as someone who wasn’t part of the guild but was still famous throughout the world, Ziggy, or Zyon Flamecore as the world knew him, was also present.
"He’s the guildmaster’s brother-in-law?"
"Not yet, but he will be, it seems."
"Guidmaster and that person are partners. You know what? That person somehow looks more attractive than the association hero."
"Right? Everyone has been saying the same thing."
"He was so intimidating during the interview... but now he seems completely different somehow."
The players were chatting and their guild executives were the subjects of these talks.
The guildmaster, the vice guildmaster sitting at the very front of the right side while a hooded lady was sitting at the very front of the lifestyle players on the left.
She was perhaps the one in-charge of the production (class) players, but not much was known about her.
Ziggy, being someone known for his various contributions, was connected to their guild, making their guild secretly more special than many players here had originally known about.
The guild itself... was more mysterious than what they all had signed up for.
{ "We shall now begin the ceremony with a few words from our guildmaster." }
With KiRA’s announcement, the chatter came to an end and everyone looked in the front, focusing on the podium where their guildmaster was standing.
{ "Good evening, everyone." }
In this hall right now, including the guild members that they had recruited on that day, there were also the skilled neighbors that they had selected personally.
Of around 500 people that they had in this hall right now, most were already looking forward to working for this guild and doing things that they do in the guilds... but there were also many players who had some questions after seeing everything in this strange underground base.
{ "I guess there are a few things you’re wondering about. As the guildmaster, I guess I should answer a few of those questions." }
Standing on the podium, without using a microphone, Izzy simply used her voice and enhanced it with her Mana.
{ "First of all, this place, the base of our guild, while unconventional, isn’t any illegal place. We do have connections with the government and yes, we do own this place in its entirety. As a master of fact, we are the ones who turned it into what you see right now from a lifeless bunker." }
Izzy and KiRA’s parents had already made sure no one could legally touch this place. Even the A2P2 that was aware of this base could not legally do anything about it unless there was a reason to do so.
With Ziggy being an integral part of the association, even if they wanted to do something about this place, they would do it through him... But the association did not have any reason to do that yet.
{ "Secondly, even though we are aiming to be a production-type guild on primary bases, production does not happen without resources and materials, and that is the reason we have all of you with us." }
Izzy glanced at all the combat players as well as the players with abilities like Lia’s that they had gathered with much difficulty.
The people that they had gathered here did not only possess good combat skills, many of them also possessed special skills good for gathering materials, even appraisal skills that could tell them about the various kinds of materials.
The member selection was peculiar exactly because of the needed diversity of skills within each one of the parties.
{ "The Trailblaze have one primary goal, and that is to become the first and best guild that specializes in Creation, not production alone, but Creation in its pure meaning." }
Izzy’s words were powerful and resonated with the guild members sitting before her.
There was a certain confidence in her voice, a certain charisma that one would expect from a guildmaster.
{ "We aim to make profits as well, yes. We will do our best to make money since without that, this new world will be difficult to survive in." }
She did not deny the obvious facts.
With a secret base like this filled with hundreds of thousands worth of items, if they said they were going to become a charity, the members would find it hard to believe them.
{ "The production team will be the cornerstones of this guild, and the supply team, the combat teams, and the administration will be the limbs that keep the guild functioning." }
That’s how it’s going to be.
That’s how they had envisioned their guild to evolve in the near future.
{ "I want your support to make this guild the best there is... not in terms of combat power or production alone, but for Creation.
We will be the beacon of new Creations in this new world." }
Her serious words moved their souls. The members weren’t merely listening to her words at this point, they were resonating with everything she was saying.
{ "I look forward to working with each one of you, my guild members, my allies, my friends." }
She finished her speech with those words, however, those words had left a lasting impression on the members of this new guild.
KiRA could tell the speech had been effective.
He was now looking forward to seeing the future of his new guild... as well as the unexpected changes it would bring to this tower-terrorized world of theirs.
