Tower's Richest Player: My Coins Won't Stop Increasing
Chapter 59: The third hidden piece
CHAPTER 59: THE THIRD HIDDEN PIECE
"Awww... man it hurts."
"Hehe, you should’ve at least left a voice note, you know? That sticky note must be the reason you got scolded~."
Iz was not helping him by saying all that in that tone. KiRA’s head still hurts after getting hit so many times.
But then again, his aunt made him a delicious dinner yesterday so he was feeling much better now.
She wasn’t angry that he left without meeting them. They were all adults, and they knew how to take care of themselves so even if she wanted to, she could not stop him from doing what he wanted.
With matters regarding the tower, she knew he would not listen to any of them even if they tied him up and locked him away.
"You’re pretty dumb sometimes, Kai." Zyon and the three of them were entering the tower through his special ID this time, a section that was only available to the association people.
"I’m not dumb, alright. It’s just that I didn’t want to worry them. You know how she is, right? She’d worry all day if she had seen me going out."
KiRA knew his aunt and the others so he left without telling, but then again, the parents understood that as well and let him go with only a slight scolding.
But then again, they knew that’s not what they should be doing to this particular man-child. He was doing it for the sake of everyone else just like them, and they knew he was strong enough to take care of himself.
The map that he had brought back was going to help their clan members from now on as well.
If they monopolize the mobs on the 1st floor and the special routes that they were taking then the parents knew they could make a strong team.
As they grow stronger and increase their levels, it will be even better for their teams.
And since the A2P2 had lifted the limitations on how many times one could enter the tower and made it into a three-times a week thing, they were free to come and go as they wished, especially in large numbers.
Also, after the clearance of the floor, the association had revealed a lot of information on the monsters on the floor as well so they had more data to work with, making the process of leveling-up easier.
"Well, isn’t this convenient though?" Thanks to Ziggy, they were able to enter the tower without standing in a line this time.
The association members had their own special perks as well, and one of them included a special tower entrance.
While they couldn’t just bring anyone in, Ziggy got special permission to get the two of them in this time.
Inside the tower, they cannot keep a track on their activity, but the association was already aware of the special relationship that the three of them had.
They were family and they had quite a special background as well. However, since their parents weren’t part of the government anymore, the Association did not have any direct relations with them.
Still, there was a cooperative understanding between the groups, making this access easier.
"Will you be going to the second floor right away, sir?" An attendant near the entry gate asked Zyon as she recognized him as the one who led the team who cleared the floor.
He was already famous in the association. Even though the people did not know the details, they were aware that he had made great contributions during the battle.
The rumors that he was even stronger than the [Rank-9] professor was also spreading pretty quickly among the players in the association.
"No no. The second floor is not the destination today, Miss. I’ll be helping this pretty miss here with Leveling on the first floor."
Zyon and Iz... KiRA would surely say the two of them looked pretty good together, but then again, Iz fairley young.
Seeing the mature Ziggy would give a vibe that he would be more into older women of his age or perhaps even older. Someone like the receptionist perhaps.
"She will be my sister-in-law so I should help her at least that much." Receptionist was first confused so Zyon cleared things up in a playful tone.
She was surprised once again though, but then she Looked at KiRA and understood how things were here.
"Ah..."
While they did not look similar, KiRA and Iz seemed closer with each other. Zyon was rumored to have a brother as well, so the receptionist got the idea of what must be happening here.
"I see! Apologies for the inconvenience, Sir. You can go ahead." She was embarrassed right now. The misunderstanding was somewhat awkward as well.
But Ziggy calmed her down before they moved inside the tower, proving to the onlookers how he was still a humble, fun person available on the dating market.
"You’re famous already, Ziggy."
"Not you too, Iz." He immediately shook his head at her with a sigh. She of all people should understand how he was feeling right now.
"Give him some space, Iz. He’s going to become more popular soon anyway."
Since KiRA wanted him to be the face of the association, his popularity would only increase with time.
The association would also try to keep him to themselves as the time passeses and he shows all the things he is capable of. He might also become vulnerable to the schemes of the association if he wasn’t careful, so KiRA wanted to make sure nothing happens to him while he’s there.
For that, he needed to be stronger than the rest of the people around him. Strong enough to have a special influence within the association.
’The rewards from the floor cleare weren’t going to be enough for that.’
He also gave the materials from the goat to KiRA, so he still needed something more.
"Are we going to move with the terminals?"
"I’m not walking all the way there, as you could tell." Iz was pretty clear about that.
Walking all the way to the prison area would take more than a day. It was better to just hunt some mobs and get there through the linking gate.
"But then again, you have to level up as well." Looking at the pretty lady covered in items, KiRA thought about it for a minute.
They had time so it wasn’t like they couldn’t go through the long path. With the three of them it wouldn’t take that long either.
"How about we speedrun to the center?" The two of them had a feeling he would suggest something like that.
Isah didn’t want to go through all that. She had seen the path and knew where they were right now thanks to the map as well.
It was going to take them a long time to reach their destination... but they didn’t have anything that could change his mind right now.
"Can I say no?"
"Nope."
She would have to go through the long path.
That much was decided.
