CHAPTER 77: CHAPTER 77: SUPER INTELLIGENT ROBOT

Walking on the road, Su Bai suddenly pulled her to the side.

They saw a team of well-trained Beastmen advancing quickly, seemingly running towards outside the city.

As soon as the team left, gossiping Beastmen began chatting nearby.

"Did you see that monster just now? One eye, boss!" He stretched out his hands to show, "That eye moves too, terrifying."

"Luckily, it ran out of the city, or we’d be in trouble."

"What exactly is that thing?"

"So ignorant! Can’t even tell it’s a robot. That’s not a monster’s eye, it’s a mechanical eye."

"I just saw that eye seemed to be chasing something away, didn’t it?"

"I saw it too, seemed to be that one Beastman with the bounty team recently, fighting Fierce Beasts fiercely. I wonder how he provoked that monster."

Su Bai, after hearing the gossip, chatted with Ruan Li, "Could the person they’re talking about be Wen Li?"

Ruan Li shook her head, "Seems a bit like him, shall we follow and see?"

Outside the city, the battle was fierce. The release of thermal weapons was like splendid fireworks blooming in the darkness.

With the last red cannon soaring into the sky, the night suddenly went silent, the intense battle scene vanished without a trace.

"Is it over?" Su Bai mumbled.

The two now stood halfway, Su Bai felt they’d come all the way, seeing nothing was a loss, "Should we sneak for a look?"

On the sand dunes, lay two small figures.

In the deep pit of sand, Wen was pierced through the shoulder by a mechanical arm, pinned to the ground, emotionlessly watching the new robot.

Since the owner started developing the new Super Intelligent Robot, he knew he’d be replaced one day.

Ze stepped on Wen, smiling slightly, "Senior, didn’t expect you to become so pathetic? No wonder the owner wants to replace you. You can’t even accomplish the owner’s task, utterly useless."

"The owner originally wanted to give you another chance, didn’t expect you to be so useless, so long and still haven’t brought back the little master, lazing here, let me handle this waste for the owner."

He finished, stepping harder, seeing Wen’s dying struggle, his smile grew wider, "Since you’re disappearing, let me tell you something. The owner plans to transfer your memories to me, and I’ll become the world’s only Super Intelligent Robot."

Wen lifted his eyelids, looking at him with a cold smile.

Ze found this smile particularly irritating. Clearly a scrapped item at his feet, yet so calm and composed, how dare he!

Wen reached to grip the mechanical arm pinning him in the sand pit, "I’m afraid that won’t go as you wish."

Before Ze could react to what he meant, there was a crack. The thick, stiff mechanical arm was directly broken by Wen, who flipped Ze, pinning him firmly to the ground, and pierced through his chest with a punch.

Ze’s internal alarms suddenly activated.

The fist was just a centimeter from his control center, a slight deviation, and he’d be scrap!

Wen looked down, capturing all the terror on his face, speaking slowly, "Do you know why the owner hasn’t acted against me? Because she’s afraid of me. I am her most perfect creation, the world’s only Super Intelligent Robot, with independent thought and emotions, almost no different from normal humans, no, stronger even. No superpower works on me, few physical attacks hurt me."

In Ze’s fearful eyes, he continued, "Besides, I can upgrade myself—"

Countless faint blue tendrils extended from behind him, these tendrils reached towards Ze in the air, entering his control center, "Try my control. From now on, I am your true master."

"Even the olfactory analysis system wasn’t complete, trying to replace me, Ruan Ying is a bit hasty."

Her life’s proudest creation, the first Super Intelligent Robot she developed, wholly betrayed her.

"You can go back now, remember, Wen has been destroyed by you, the situation was too intense, you didn’t have time to copy his memories," Wen commanded as he manipulated the mental tendrils to subtly alter the video memories within Ze.

After all, the recent fierce fight was enough evidence.

After finishing everything, he kicked away the robot on the ground, "Get lost."

Although Ruan Li didn’t quite hear the two’s conversation, it seemed like Wen won.

Yet she was more puzzled, weren’t these two robots sent by Ruan Ying to capture her? Why did they fight each other? Could robots have internal conflicts?

Ruan Li saw Wen seemingly walking in her direction. Despite the distance remaining, she still pulled Su Bai to head back.

Su Bai asked, puzzled, "Wen Li has won, shouldn’t we wait for him?"
