Cyra navigated through the trees, heading directly to the last spot she heard their heartbeats.

Her senses extended across the entire jungle, and she caught glimpses of them; her expression hardened—her eyes turning gold with fear and anger—as she was nearly ready to destroy the whole island if anything had happened to them.

The two guards on duty saw a blur streak past them, and their expressions changed. They quickly alerted the family heads, informing them about an intruder. While the message was being sent, they rushed to the spot where the blurred figure had vanished.

Alert!!!

A shrill sound blared through the island; the heads that we were trying to leave the island immediately turned back and headed for the forest.

They nearly thought the undead woman was returning to attack the island, but then Cyra's face appeared in their minds, making their hearts skip a beat—hoping that no foolish person had offended her.

"What were any distinctive features you were able to see from the blur, like red hair…" a quick-witted person asked.

But they received no signal—the guards had already chased after Cyra into the space tear, which disconnected them from the Nexus.

"Quick, before things get out of hand…I prefer it was that undead woman who broke in," Julia murmured her last words under her breath as she dashed toward the space tear, with others following behind.

Meanwhile, inside the primitive forest, Zane and Viktor stared wide-eyed in surprise as they saw a familiar monster.

"Doesn't it look like that four-armed spider?" Zane asked aloud, feeling the grey spider was eerily familiar to that monster in the game.

"Humph…" Ingrid raised her chin smugly, finally seeing the expression she had been hoping to see.

Viktor tapped his hologram screen, trying to take a picture of the monster and search for it on the game interface. However, he realized there was no signal and had to turn off his hologram screen regretfully.

"This is where the inspiration for those monsters in the game came from. Let's leave here quietly before we attract them. I'll show you more as we go on," Ingrid whispered in a hushed tone as she lowered her hand from the umbrella-like plant, shutting the spot where they were peeking out.

"Is it as strong as in the game?" Zane asked with curiosity, straightening up while Viktor remained crouched, taking different pictures of the spiders.

"Erm…they are quite strong but more like annoying—their web is too sticky and it reeks of rotten egg." Ingrid felt like vomiting as she explained, her nose wrinkled in disgust as if she could smell the stench.

Her expression was so intense that Zane instantly lost interest in battling the monster.

"Alright, I've taken enough pictures. Let's go," Viktor said, wiping the sand from his fingers as he moved toward them, but…

Snap!

He accidentally trampled on a branch, and the noise instantly alarmed the spiders, who were lazily spinning their webs.

"F*ck." Ingrid muttered under her breath. The spider all turned toward them, making Ingrid and Viktor's hair stand on end.

"Run!" Ingrid shouted, which seemed to break the silent stare off of the spiders—like a switch, they all attacked at once, shooting their webs like arrows toward Zane and the others.

Viktor flushed with embarrassment over his mistake—he darted aside as a blob of web zipped past him. Without hesitation, he flipped skillfully onto the tree branches.

"Pain, come out and help!" Viktor propelled himself with his left arm, his legs dangling in the air, before jumping toward a lower, thicker branch—smoothly dodging the webs.

Ingrid watched in amazement; her brief lapse caused a web to hit her right in the back—a grimace of pain spread across her face.

The stench of the webs made her retch, but she forced the bile down and focused on escaping.

Zane had climbed to the top of a tall tree in just a few moves. He couldn't bring himself to cut the webs with his sword; their slimy, milky color looked like mucus dripping from someone's nose.

Zane quickly looked away, feeling like he might throw up if he kept looking at the webs.

This was the situation Cyra found them in when she arrived. Her eyes swept the area, and she instantly spotted Zane and Viktor; her heart immediately calmed.

Zane was the first to spot her, thanks to the bird's-eye view from the tall tree.

"Wife!" he exclaimed, surprised to see her, and thought to himself, 'Wasn't she supposed to be sleeping? What's she doing here?'

Cyra turned to him, but suddenly appeared beside the running Viktor, grabbing him by the waist; she then flashed to Zane in seconds.

Viktor was placed on a sturdy branch, and she then turned to both of them with a cold expression, indicating her fury.

Zane and Viktor felt pressured by her gaze; the former tugged at her clothes, while the latter lowered his head with a guilty look.

"Wife, don't be angry. I should have told you where we were," Zane pleaded quietly.

"At least send me a text or a voice note, this isn't our Island. Do you know how worried I was when I couldn't hear both your heartbeats?" Cyra's reprimanding tone made them feel more guilty—Viktor murmured an apology, feeling it was his fault for suggesting they go somewhere fun.

Cyra sighed and sat on the branch, leaning back into the tree. "Have you finished having fun? If not, you can keep exploring; I'll stay here." They looked at her, surprised, wrongly assuming she was upset and that they'd have to return with her.

Cyra noticed their expression and added with a gentle smile, "I originally brought you here for a vacation. I won't limit your enjoyment, but I do want to know where you are at all times."

"Ah, you're the best!" Viktor exclaimed with a closed-eyed smile, quickly pulling Cyra into a hug.

Cyra ruffled his hair, then flicked his forehead in amusement before turning to Zane, whose lips curled into a relieved smile.

"Ahh!! Save me?!" Ingrid's pained scream interrupted the moment, and Cyra frowned, now recalling she had seen a woman.

A flash of irritation crossed her eyes at the thought of the woman being near her men.

"Ignore her, she won't die," Cyra muttered casually as she watched Ingrid's running figure with ten spiders chasing relentlessly behind her.

The guards who had followed Cyra inside heard Ingrid's loud shout and rushed toward the location.

When they arrived, Ingrid had stopped running and was fighting the spiders. Her arrow-tipped black tail slashed at the spider on her left, blinding its eyes as she swung her claws at the other spider in front of her.

But she was outnumbered and was stabbed multiple times by the spiders' legs.

The guards saw this and quickly joined in to help her while their audience watched from a tree above.

Viktor saw the tail and claws, but he didn't know what kind of supernatural being she was.

"Succubus," Cyra explained when she saw his curious look.

"Oh," Viktor nodded in response, but he had no idea what a succubus was.

Cyra was about to explain more when she sensed several human heartbeats approaching their position.
