Transmigrated: The Lycan King's Pet
Chapter 104 You Need to See for Yourself
CHAPTER 104: CHAPTER 104 YOU NEED TO SEE FOR YOURSELF
"If you had taught your son proper manners, he would have still been alive." Alaric’s wolf growled fiercely at Beta Roy, his lips peeling back, revealing its sharp canine teeth.
Damon walked to Beta Roy’s front. "Your son touched someone who belongs to me. You should be grateful you were able to pick up his pieces," he said in a low voice, knowing that he could hear him well.
Beta Roy howled painfully as he fell back down on the floor, tears dripping from the corner of his eyes.
"Alpha Damon, your visit here is now over. You should leave my territory, or else..."
"Or else what?" Damon’s eyes turned grey, fury dancing within its depth.
His voice thundered in the hall, his oppressive aura made the air thicken, all the werewolves fell on their knees, whimpering in submission.
I didn’t know when my legs hit the ground. The aura was terrifying and at the same time overbearing.
"Alpha Damon, stop." Alpha Caelen gritted his teeth as he tried to resist the urge to bow down to him. How could he, an Alpha, bow down to another Alpha? But he knew clearly well that Damon was an Alpha Lycan, yet his pride didn’t let him bow to him.
As the aura got intense, Alpha Caelen fell to his knees. His head slightly bent. His hands clenched tightly beside him.
"I will leave whenever I want, you don’t have the right to chase me out... except you don’t want us to be allies anymore... and that only means one thing, you are working with the Blood Moon pack?" Damon’s expression was calm but his hands clenched tightly so that his knuckles whitened.
Alpha Caelen’s face turned pale. "No, we are neutral to one another... I’ll never be an ally with the Blood Moon pack."
Damon’s eyes narrowed down at him. "I’ll take your words for it now."
"If you don’t want me to spill blood in your territory then keep your pack members in line," he said nonchalantly.
Just then, a servant entered the hall. Her chest heaving, cold beads of sweat trickled down her temple. "Luna, you might want to see this," she said urgently.
"See what?" Evelyn asked, disgust dripping from her voice.
The maid glanced at the people in the hall before she leaned in closer, "It is about Miss Maddie," she whispered.
"What is wrong with her? Is she throwing another tantrum again?" Evelyn’s eyes darkened.
The servant shook her head. She glanced around nervously, then swallowed hard. "She’s in danger." She lied, wanting to grab only Evelyn’s attention.
But that made Alpha Caelen turn to her. "What do you mean she is in danger? Where is she right now? Lead me to her," he commanded.
The servant was hesitant for a moment, but seeing the cold look in his head, she could only bow in submission, before quietly leading the way.
Not wanting to miss out on the fun, I trailed behind them. Why does it feel like something huge has happened?
I quickly walked past Beta Roy that laid on the ground in his wolf form. Who knows if he would pass the aggression onto me.
Then my eyes met Damon. I quickly looked away from embarrassment, I dashed out as I didn’t want to face him yet.
As we walked down the cobblestone path, the air felt eerily tense. The thudding of our feet was the only sound that echoed in the air.
We took a few turns before we arrived at the bushy side of the mansion. The grasses were tall, and dense, making it difficult to see through it.
But the servant led into the bush. Evelyn’s steps faltered. "Why are you taking us inside the bush?"
’Because your daughter is there?’ Why would she use her brain and connect the dot?
"Because Miss Maddie is here," she said with her head bowed.
"Why would my daughter be here?" she asked with a scrutinised gaze.
"Luna, just come with me and you will see for yourself," she answered.
Evelyn was about to take a step when Alpha Caelen held his hand out, halting their footsteps. "Could you be a spy? And you are luring us inside the bush because that is your plan with the rouges?"
"No... I dare not, Alpha. I’m not a traitor. Believe me, please, you really need to see this."
Alpha Caelen remained unmoving, his eyes scanning the bush for any sign of rogues, his nose sniffed the air but he could not find any trace of the rogues.
"Take us there now!" Alpha Caelen demanded after he was sure that there was no danger.
I hid behind some of the servants that were behind them.
The servant led us into the bush. We hadn’t walked far when we saw three men and a lady lying naked on the ground.
My eyes almost bulged out of their sockets when the girl’s features became clearer to me. "Maddie," I muttered.
Evelyn quickly covered her mouth, anger and shame contorting her face.
’Why was she here? And why is she sleeping with three naked men?’ I wondered, as I stared at their dirty body, twigs and dried leaves hanging in their hair.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" Alpha Caelen’s voice thundered through the bush, startling a flock of birds into flight.
My inside churned as his powers spilled into the air, making it difficult for us to breathe.
His body shook with anger, his hands trembling. He looked more disappointed than I had ever seen him.
But his shout only made them stir slightly before sleeping again.
It was either they were above the alpha or they were just too tired to respond to the alpha’s command.
"I said, WAKE UP, ALL OF YOU." Alpha Caelen yelled again.
This time, the men were the first to sit up in the blink of an eye. They looked around in confusion, the Alpha’s command was like an iron grip, snatching them out of their dreamland.
