CHAPTER 240: CHAPTER 240 NO WAY OUT

The woman stayed frozen in place, her knees still pressed into the damp ground. She didn’t dare move.

"I said I’ll bring more information," she repeated, her voice barely holding steady. "Just give me a chance."

The fingers that had gripped her jaw loosened and slowly pulled away. She felt them slide off, but the coldness lingered.

The forest stilled as if it were holding its breath.

The witch hummed, as if satisfied, however, the sound dragged through the air like a blade over stone.

"I told you... I hate lies and betrayal," the Derailed Witch whispered, her voice no longer teasing. "Did you think fear would earn you mercy?"

The cold fingers held her jaw tighter, this time digging into the woman’s jaw with enough force to draw blood. She gasped, but the scream never made it out.

"You crawled into my forest with your shaking legs, and now you think you can crawl back out?" Her voice cooed, mocking. "You fed me half-truths and hoped they’d be enough. But I know your kind. I smell the Queen’s magic on your skin... hypocrites."

The woman tried to speak, but her throat tightened. Her knees dug further into the earth as something heavy and crushing pressed against her chest.

"You all claim we are corrupted... but you end up here in our home... Doesn’t that make you a hypocrite?"

"You are not here to serve me," the witch said darkly. "But here to survive... I can already see through your plans."

The pressure grew worse. The woman clawed at her neck, her lungs begging for air.

"And unfortunately..." the Derailed Witch sighed. "I’m not in a merciful mood."

The tree groaned behind her, its branches twisting. A sharp creaking sound filled the air, and from the bark, thin black vines slithered out like fingers eager to claim new prey.

The woman barely managed a cry before the vines lashed out, wrapping around her legs and arms. Her body was hoisted upward with a violent snap, her scream muffled by the choking grip of the forest itself.

"I’ll find the Chosen myself," the voice whispered. "And when I do... I’ll peel the sacred magic from her bones."

The hanging body swung beside the older corpse already rotting on the tree. Fresh blood seeped down her body like fat over fire, her lifeless eyes opened wide in surprise.

The witch looked at her handiwork, and a sinister smile formed on her lips. "So beautiful." She cooed, before bursting out into hysterical laughter.

......

(Bloodmoon Pack)

In a very dimly lit room, heavy panting echoed through every wall of the room. The rattling of chains followed now and then.

The metal door creaked open, light seeped into the room revealing a woman covered in sweat, her lips were chapped and her skin was pale.

Her head hung down weakly, her hands slumped in the shackles. Her once vibrant dark long hair had become dull and unkempt.

Her chest rose and fell, each breath was taking all her strength.

Alpha Lucas stepped into the room, his broad and huge frame towering over her.

His eyes sparkled with evil intent. "Alpha Allison... see what you have brought upon yourself." He sighed. "If you had agreed to my request, we would have become the most powerful couple the world had ever seen."

He paused, letting the awkward silence grow louder. After a while, he cleared his throat. "Do you want the antidote?" His lips tug up in a smirk.

Allison remained silent, not bothering to waste her energy on him. She wondered, what was holding her pack back from rescuing her, were they dead? Or have they betrayed her?

"Fine, I can see you are not ready for the antidote yet." He straightened the cufflinks of his suit. "I brought you some news."

This got Allison’s attention. She raised her head slightly.

"Your pack launched an attack on my pack." He took all the time in the world to say it.

Allison’s eyes widened in horror, if Lucas was still standing there, it meant her pack had failed... but were they still alive?

"What did you do to them?" She raised her voice, but her voice still came out weak and cracked.

Lucas offered her a smile. "They trespassed into my territory, of course, I had to teach them a lesson."

Allison pulled the chains, ignoring the burn on her skin. "Where the fuck are my people Lucas?! What did you do to them?!" Her voice grew rasped, yet her eyes burned with fury.

Before the blink of an eye, Lucas blurred in front of her, grabbing her by the throat, pinning her against the wall.

"What do you expect me to do? I killed the loyal ones and recruited the rest." He grinned.

Allison’s eyes swelled with tears. "No you didn’t, how can you destroy everything that I suffered to build all these years!" She screamed in pain and desperation.

"You are a woman after all, you don’t need to be an alpha when you can be my Luna." He leaned closer, inches away from her face. He rolled out his tongue, running it over her cheeks.

Allison struggled to break away from his grip but could not. Tears rolled down her cheeks. She had never felt so humiliated in her entire life.

She had fought in dangerous battles and had been beaten and wounded, but she was honoured for her strength and courage. And for being the first female Alpha to succeed and a pack.

But now everything had gone down the drain. She felt nothing but disgusted... breeder.

"Get off me!" She yelled crying.

She had even forgotten the last time she shed tears like this. Now she was shackled and her wolf suppressed, and her body was being used as he deemed fit.

Even Ember wasn’t humiliated to this extent.

Lucas continued licking her cheeks, growling in between as he trailed down to her neck.

She closed her eyes. "I agree... I’ll mate with you."
