CHAPTER 106: CHAPTER 106: DATING ERA WITH CEO

Flashback to three years ago, when they were enjoying a wonderful courtship. Since dating Matthias, Victoria has been incredibly happy to have someone who cares so much about her, compared to her family, who has always treated her like an outcast. Even though Matthias is busy with work, he still makes time to visit her. During their months of dating, nothing gets in the way of their relationship, making her even happier with Matthias. Even while working, Matthias still wants to be intimate with her.

Every time she visits a luxury home nearing completion thanks to her interior design contributions, she’s filled with relief. Because every time, Matthias always compliments her on the results, which meet her expectations. Victoria doesn’t expect him to praise her for her work.

"Victoria, since you designed my house to look this perfect, I want to cook dinner for you."

Victoria laughed so hard her cheeks turned red. "I could already tell all your cooking was going to be awful. You’ve never cooked before, and you only recently decided to learn because you’re dating me."

"Don’t worry, my cooking skills have improved quite a bit." Matthias winked with his right eye.

Victoria eventually invited Matthias to visit her penthouse. She initially wanted to cook dinner, but Matthias quickly stopped her. She could only helplessly stare at him, who looked enthusiastic in his apron. She could already imagine how unappetizing Matthias would be to cook anything for her.

"Matthias, let me cook! You can just sit on the sofa and wait for me."

Matthias lifted his lover’s chin with an intense gaze. "You still don’t believe me?"

"You’ve worked hard today. So now it’s my turn to cook."

"I still want to cook."

"Okay, I’ll keep an eye on you."

While her boyfriend was cooking, Victoria could only stare intently at him with her arms folded. After months of dating, they’d always argued over the food being unappetizing. Matthias still wasn’t a skilled cook, having always lived a luxurious lifestyle, relying on others to cook for him.

"Matthias, you’re wrong again! Do I have to keep scolding you?"

Matthias pursed his lips. "Even though I followed your instructions before, you still scolded me."

"I didn’t mean to scold you. But I love you." Victoria wrapped her arms around her lover’s stomach from behind.

Seeing his lover teasing him, Matthias immediately stroked the back of her soft hand slowly. "I have an idea. Why don’t you join me in cooking? Instead of constantly scolding me until your face wrinkles."

"What?! Do I really have wrinkles on my face?"

"If you’re going to keep getting angry, you’d better just accompany me now."

A few minutes later, Matthias had completed his cooking mission. He served all the food that he had cooked with pains before being scolded by his lover.

Meanwhile, Victoria gazed at her lover’s cooking with a beaming gaze. Although she had initially scolded him, seeing the enticing visuals of the food on the table, she immediately took a spoonful of each dish. Just one bite made her heart flutter.

"I really liked your cooking this time. I won’t scold you." Victoria gave two thumbs up.

"Finally, you’re not scolding me. I’m actually tired of hearing your complaints. That’s why I secretly learned to cook before your face gets even more wrinkled."

"I thought my face was ugly now."

Matthias smiled sweetly, stroking his lover’s head. "Thank you for teaching me how to cook with such patience. Thanks to you, I really enjoy cooking now."

"I love teaching you how to cook. Even though you’re a troublemaker, I’m starting to like you more and more."

Matthias pressed his nose against his lover’s. "Did you just make a dig at me?"

Victoria burst out laughing as she fed her lover. "The more I tease you, the more you improve at cooking."

Since dating Matthias, Victoria has always had him with her before bed. Now, Victoria doesn’t feel lonely living alone in the spacious penthouse. Victoria really likes Matthias, who always accompanies her in her room politely. Matthias always sits on the floor while she lies in bed. Any other man would surely attack her silently while she sleeps. However, Matthias truly stays with her all night.

"By the way Matthias, aren’t you tired of keeping me in bed every night?"

"No. I actually really enjoy sleeping with you. Ever since I’ve been sleeping with you, I’ve been having a lot of beautiful dreams."

"What did you dream about?"

"It has something to do with you."

Victoria pursed her lips and patted the bed. "I want you to stay with me in bed. Don’t sit on the floor. You deserve to sit on the bed rather than the floor."

"It’s okay. You’ll feel uncomfortable if I stay too close to you."

"I know you’re not that type of guy. So, I’ll let you sit next to me."

Finally, Matthias sat down right next to his sleeping lover. His eyes sparkled as he stared at her beautiful face, still radiant despite the late hour. He pressed a kiss to her nose for a few seconds.

"I love seeing you like this before bed," Victoria said, holding her lover’s hand tightly.

"You’re like a baby every time you sleep."

Victoria’s cheeks flushed red. "Really?"

"Do I have to prove it to you?"

"No need. Actually, I look like a baby because ever since you’ve been here, I’ve felt so happy. Up until now, no one has cared about me. Especially since my family treats me like an outcast."

"You also still have Jennifer, Sawyer, and Louis to keep you company."

Her eyes narrowed at her lover. "So you’re okay with me being around Sawyer and Louis? Aren’t you jealous?"

Matthias averted his eyes and cleared his throat. "I mean, I let you hang out with them, but that doesn’t mean it’s too much. Besides, Sawyer is Jennifer’s boyfriend."

Victoria burst out laughing, kissing her lover’s cheek repeatedly. "You don’t need to worry. I still choose you as my lover. Because only you can complete my life."
