Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas
Chapter 273: I’m feeling bored these days
CHAPTER 273: I’M FEELING BORED THESE DAYS
I sat on my bed with a book in my hand and my eyes glued to the text.
It had been a few days since we had that outing. I got a check-up from Cha Hyun-woo as soon as he got back to the country. He returned right away since the Alphas called for him, and then he carried out a full-body check-up on me.
I was healthy. Very healthy.
But he still gave me more supplements that he said would help my nerves relax before my heat actually struck. Is it just me, or is the heat taking its sweet time to Land while putting me through all this unnecessary stress? Ugh.
That aside. I felt so relaxed and relieved that everything was going well.
But then, I couldn’t help but wonder, what if everything was going too well?
My masters hadn’t said anything for a while now concerning my heat, so I’ve been wondering if they are secretly preparing something or if I’m just being paranoid since I have no one to talk to.
I mean, I’m not exactly in the know of what’s going on in my body even if it’s my body, and even though I’m not so worried anymore because they assured me that whatever I’m passing through right now is just a sign of the heat taking over, I can’t help but worry.
What if I suddenly go out of control?
I sighed heavily and dropped my back on the bed. This isn’t something I should be worrying myself about, is it?
Anyway, my masters were back to work and I was all alone again, counting my fingers and endlessly flipping pages of the book I had bought during the date with Seo-Jun.
It looked like they were finalizing their deal. So, that means the plot was getting back on track. We’ll probably be having that scene soon. During the cooperation event where Ki-hoon gets stabbed by one of the guards.
So, I’d better prepare for it. I’d better get ready to avoid that situation, just like I planned. I can’t let my baby Min-Cheol get hated by the public just for beating up that guard.
Since my masters trust me a lot right now, I don’t know if I should go ahead and tell them about the enemy they have on their side.
I mean, they probably already have a hint of who it is, but I feel like I should just open up to them. It’ll save them the trouble of getting caught up in an expected situation.
I’m worried, though. If I open up too much, they’ll get suspicious and wonder how I knew, but based on how they treat me these days, how they love me to bits, I don’t think they’ll act on their suspicion. It makes me think twice, but I really want them to avoid the danger, so what should I do?
Anyway, I think I’m just going to leave things as they are right now. Until the cooperation actually starts, I think everything will be fine.
*Knock knock.*
A knock on the door alerted me and I raised my head.
"Come in."
I yelled softly just loud enough for them to hear.
It seemed like everyone was knocking these days. Not that I’m complaining. It was about time, don’t you think?
The door opened and the maids came in. May, April, and the rest of them walked in.
"It’s time for your bath, sir," May said and I looked towards the window. Was it already evening?
Gosh, time sure flies fast when you’re reading.
"Alright." I said and stood on my feet.
I wondered if my master’s would come back early today and have dinner with me. They didn’t come back in the past few days after that date and while it was a given that they were absolutely busy, it still left me quite disheartened.
’I’m feeling bored these days.’ I thought as the maids assisted me in taking off my clothes. ’Should I just throw a party?’
The thought of that made me laugh, and they looked at me, wondering if I had finally lost it, but I shook my head and waved it off.
If I threw a party, who would I invite?
’I can probably invite my masters to a party thrown in their own house, haha.’ The thought was hilarious but not exactly bad.
I was bored anyway, and I was allowed to do pretty much anything, so why not just... Do that?
"It’s settled!" I suddenly announced. "We’re going to have a party."
The maids looked at me, wondering what I was going on about but I didn’t care.
I had made up my mind and would throw a party, muhahahaha.
But wasn’t throwing a party this night a bit too much? I would need some time to prepare, and I’d have to come up with the theme as well.
And then I’d have to send the invitations, though just four, haha. But I don’t plan to make them drop everything just so they can attend my little party.
So, it was decided that I would send them the invitation today for a party I was holding the next day.
And because of that, neither of them was allowed to return home that night, not like they had been coming back the last few days, but you get the gist of it.
I was going to surprise them.
’I wonder how they would react once they get the invitation.’ I wondered, giggling to myself. It was fun thinking of stuff like this.
But planning a party, no matter how small, was more exhausting than what the surface let on.
I was just overseeing the work, and the maids were doing all the decorations, but it felt like a part of my life span had been sucked dry.
"Being an interior decorator is not for the weak," I complained as I dragged my tired body to the couch and flopped on it. No, it didn’t even make any sound because I was currently dry like a piece of paper with no weight. "This was supposed to be fun. Just fun."
And it was fun, but most of it was exhausting.
But I was glad I was done.
I looked at the well-decorated living room, and a satisfied smile played on my lips.
Yeah, it was definitely worth the effort.
Now, all that was left was to wait for the invitees.
But while waiting, I gave in to my tiredness and dozed off. Having no idea when my masters had arrived and had surrounded me.
They didn’t make a noise and didn’t wake me either. They simply stared, watching as my lips slightly twisted from time to time and my nose wiggled while I balanced my body on the couch.
It was the joy they found that caused them to watch peacefully.
And I happened to be that joy.
Okay, scratch that. That is just over the top. If they had arrived, they could’ve at least let me know.
They let me sleep for an hour more, even after they had arrived, even after the food was ready, and, as if they had nothing to do, watched me.
Aish!!!! For the love of...!!! I didn’t invite you from your busy schedules just to come home and watch me sleep, dammit!
They should’ve woken me up.
