CHAPTER 102: CHAPTER 19: FEMALE SORCERER MUTUAL AID ASSOCIATION 5

When Su Ziyu left, Alice was already standing outside the door waiting.

This female warlock seemed to be utterly devoted to Lady Inid, as members of the Female Sorcerer Mutual Aid Association mostly formed small groups based on their different backgrounds.

"Lord Su."

As Su Ziyu passed through the garden intending to return to his room, he heard the voice of Nicole the female warlock behind him. Her voice was quite distinguishable, slightly childlike.

This female warlock had a good upbringing and looked like a very cultured lady.

"Judy sister wants to chat with you alone."

Nicole looked at him with bright eyes, her expression conveying a hint of pleading, she softly asked, "Is that okay?"

"Lead the way." Su Ziyu thought for a moment and replied.

He lacked sufficient understanding of this world, and these female warlocks seemed to want to recruit him, offering him a way to gain more intelligence.

The two of them entered a small courtyard from the side of the garden.

Outside the door stood a rather quiet Mira, who had unknowingly put on a pair of glasses with gold rims, adding an intellectual beauty to her appearance. This female warlock pushed the door open, signaling Su Ziyu to enter, and the two of them followed him inside.

The room had a faint musk scent.

The Judy who had gifted him the meteor stood by the window waiting, and upon hearing the sound of the door opening, she walked over with a full smile and said, "Welcome. Please sit."

Su Ziyu casually found a place to sit down.

The room looked somewhat luxurious, with soft carpets on the floor, a delicate dressing table by the bed, and many expensive pieces of jewelry on top, appearing much more opulent than Lady Inid’s room, which seemed rather simple and elegant.

"What do you need me for?" Su Ziyu asked as he gazed at Judy.

She seemed to have changed clothes recently, the long dress on her body looking somewhat like a silk nightgown, hazy and semi-transparent, with fiery red hair slightly curled, exuding a charming aura.

"Su." Judy naturally sat across from him, her address more intimate, and softly asked, "Do you want a drink?"

"No need," Su Ziyu shook his head and said, "Just get straight to the point."

"You know."

"Demon hunters don’t like beating around the bush."

Upon hearing Su Ziyu’s words, Judy gave Nicole and Mira a look, and the two gently closed the door, jointly casting a magic that seemed like a soundproof barrier.

Judy took a deep breath, her bosom heaving, and looked into Su Ziyu’s eyes, asking, "Did Lord Su agree to Inid’s request?"

"You’re talking about the escort commission?" Su Ziyu nodded, "Yes. I have agreed."

Upon hearing his words, Judy’s expression showed hesitancy, she struggled for a moment before saying, "Lord Su should know that we actually do not wish to go to the City of Freedom in the Northern Continent, right?"

"I can tell a bit." Su Ziyu replied slowly.

Judy’s face revealed a touch of bitterness, and she softly said, "You should also not be very knowledgeable about anything in the Northern Continent, right?"

"In fact."

"We are reluctant to leave, not entirely because we cannot part with everything here."

"I, Nicole, and Mira all come from noble backgrounds, here, although we possess considerable wealth, it is not completely irreplaceable."

Su Ziyu sat up straight, adopting an attentive posture.

"Inid’s intentions are not that simple." Judy leaned a bit closer to Su Ziyu, her sweet breath coming toward him, she whispered, "Though she appears to be protecting us, leading us to evade the witch hunters."

"In reality, she has her own schemes."

"The so-called City of Freedom."

"It’s merely a chaotic lawless land. Numerous exiled criminals and monsters fled to the Northern Continent, where too many monster are rampant."

"It is said that vampires have villages where they raise humans."

Is that really the case?

The name City of Freedom sounds rather appealing, but Su Ziyu hadn’t realized it turned out to be a place overrun by monsters and plagued by bandits.

"There are vampire nests there."

Judy took a deep breath and continued, "It is said the underground rulers of the City of Freedom are a group of vampires. With our strength going there, the situation wouldn’t be better than staying in Lund."

"Are you planning to stay then?" Su Ziyu asked.

"No." Judy’s smile was somewhat bitter, she said softly, "After so many incidents, Lund is also no longer safe. The secular and the church are hunting us."

"If we stay alone, we are too weak to resist those witch hunters."

So what do you mean?

Su Ziyu furrowed his brows involuntarily, puzzled, "What is your intention?"

"We can only go together to the City of Freedom." Judy exchanged a look with Nicole and Mira beside her, stood up and came in front of Su Ziyu, bowing gracefully, "We wish to request your protection!"

"We cannot fully trust Inid."

"However, we are willing to trust you."

"We hope to gain your protection until we gain a foothold in the City of Freedom."

"For this."

"We are willing to offer whatever rewards you desire!"

As her words fell.

The other two female warlocks also came to Su Ziyu’s side, a fragrant breeze enveloping him entirely, the petite and exquisite Nicole looked at him with a pitifully pleading expression.

"Sit down and talk," Su Ziyu was a bit taken aback by the ongoing events, he rubbed his forehead and said, "I am a demon hunter."

"As long as the price is right for the commission, it is not impossible to consider."

"Just that..."

Before he could finish his words, Judy and the other two female warlocks exchanged a glance, biting their lips slowly reaching for their waistbands.

Su Ziyu instantly reached out to stop their next move, shaking his head said, "No need for that."

"I might not stay there for long."

"But as long as the price is right, during this period I will try to ensure your safety as much as possible."

Staying here risks being discovered and caught by witch hunters, whereas going to the Northern Continent brings fears of surviving amongst monsters.

They do not wholly trust Lady Inid.

The three female warlocks before him seemed to be caught in a dilemma, thus placing their hope on the newly acquainted Su Ziyu. Partly due to Su Ziyu’s formidable strength, and partly because they were confident in the compensation they could offer, believing they could secure the protection of this demon hunter.

Unless they are geniuses or female warlocks who have lived for a long time, their casting abilities are limited and restrained by anti-magic metal.

The waters within the Female Sorcerer Mutual Aid Association are quite deep.

Judy said they cannot fully trust Lady Inid, claiming she has her own schemes, something Su Ziyu has not yet discerned.

Yet, he finds himself intrigued by the City of Freedom.

Because monsters reside there.

So could he hunt monsters there to earn Source Power Value?
