CHAPTER 201: CHAPTER 150 DEATH_2

This small wound was nothing compared to losing an arm.

Following that, two flaming crosses erupted. One was dodged, while the other struck Jack directly in the back.

Fortunately, the Magic Shield protected him from this attack, but the Shield itself was shattered.

"Aren’t you in possession of a Treasure? Why don’t you use it?" Alka’s puzzled voice came from behind a Mirror.

"To deal with a young person like you who doesn’t possess a Treasure, if I still had to use one, it would be utterly disgraceful."

Saying that, Jack swung the wand in his hand, and silver blade-lights shot out one after another, quickly slicing through the surrounding Mirrors.

The Mirrors were collapsing in large numbers, while Alka kept producing more, offsetting the loss.

"Do you have that much Magic Power? I want to see how many you can make," Jack said, swinging his wand even faster.

With each strike, he could shatter a large area of Mirrors. Alka’s Magic Power consumption in creating Mirrors had to be greater than Jack’s in destroying them.

He seemed to be starting to enhance his own strength.

While attacking, Jack added, "I should have taken you with me back then, or finished you off, instead of just killing your mother."

Hearing Jack’s words, Alka roared angrily, "Shut up!"

This guy is trying to provoke me. What on earth is he planning?

Confused, Alka once again threw out a pile of cards, scattering them everywhere. He then took out his Bat and fiercely struck the ball.

The ball flew out swiftly, with intense force.

Feeling the whistling sound from behind, Jack turned and struck out with his wand. He directly flicked the incoming ball aside. It crashed into the Mirrors behind him, smashing several. He then casually threw out a card of his own, deflecting Alka’s incoming Silver Card.

"You’ve only been a Toucher for a year, right? You can already skillfully create these three cards. Quite impressive," Jack laughed. Another card appeared in his hand, and he sent it shooting towards Alka.

By now, most of the surrounding Mirror Maze had been destroyed. The maze had lost its effectiveness, revealing Alka’s figure.

It was a black card, heading towards Alka. This wasn’t one of the three cards Alka knew.

It slid past Alka and exploded into a cloud of black mist that spread out, enveloping him.

In the black mist, Alka’s eyes were momentarily blinded, and the mist began invading his spirit.

This is some kind of mental attack.

Then a blue card shot forth. Chains erupted from it, trying to wrap around Alka.

However, Alka hadn’t been overcome by the black mist’s spiritual assault, and he easily dodged the erupting chains. Yet his body was still within the black mist.

Jack, like a leopard, dashed into the black mist. Seeing Alka unbound, Jack was slightly surprised. He gripped his wand and lunged at Alka.

"Your Spiritual Protection is impressive. No wonder you’ve been able to stay in this Prison of Pitch Darkness for so long and still haven’t found a way out."

"You have some kind of Spell for Spiritual Protection, don’t you?"

While taunting Alka, Jack relentlessly swung his wand, striking at him repeatedly. Alka could only block the attacks with his Bat, now without the ball.

Suddenly, the ball that had flown behind Jack shot back towards him.

Hearing the sound of something rending the air behind him, Jack’s eyes widened. He landed a heavy blow that knocked Alka back, then spun around. But he was a step too late; the ball he had deflected earlier flew back, striking him squarely in the chest.

The impact instantly sent Jack stumbling backward.

A pink mist billowed up from underfoot. Mixing with the existing black mist, it began to creep over Jack’s body.

A blue card exploded, and several Water Chains shot out, securely binding Jack as he was thrown backward.

Jack struggled, watching the mist quickly spread over his body. He glared at Alka until the mist completely enveloped him, and he sank into a Deep Sleep.

Alka walked over.

"Repent with your life."

Saying that, Alka picked up the Silver Card in his hand and slashed directly at Jack.

When the card stabbed into Jack’s brain, the searing pain instantly jolted him awake.

Yet death had already arrived.

But Jack’s face showed a smile. It was like the smile he wore when one of his Magic tricks succeeded—the deceptive art of performance.

He slowly pulled the card from his head. No blood or brain matter spilled out.

Alka, however, fell to the ground without any warning, completely unscathed.

The chain tattoo on the inside of Alka’s left wrist began to burn with an intense heat. It seemed to lift from the surface of his skin before turning to ash. The ashes scattered in the breeze, leaving his skin completely unmarked.

The gash on Jack’s head slowly closed. He stood up, spread his arms, tilted his head back slightly, a look of profound relief washing over his face.

"Hahaha! It finally succeeded!"

He couldn’t help but laugh out loud. The laughter was so carefree, as if it had been repressed for a long, long time.

After he had laughed enough, he spoke to the air, "Sifus, did you see it? Your child killed himself. He’s still so young. Was it hatred that destroyed him? Or impulsiveness? This way, his soul is now vacant. I just need to leave this sea region, and I can enter his body and be completely free."
