CHAPTER 32: CHAPTER 32: GIGI’S DEEDS

"What’s the matter?" Justin Kingston didn’t look at her.

But Monica Usher didn’t care about his attitude at all. She approached him with a smile and said softly, "You are very attentive to this Eldoria Royal New Year’s jewelry design, and I am too. I decided to design a full set, both clothing and jewelry."

"There’s no need." Justin signed his name on a document, his voice low and cool, "Time is so tight, there’s no need to wear yourself out."

"It’s okay, I don’t feel tired."

"Our design department is not short of talent," he said. "Division of labor and cooperation are the keys to maintaining quality and quantity."

Monica continued to smile, "I just think designing a full set could come in handy. This opportunity was hard to come by. You can’t guarantee that nobody will let you down. Plus, you can never have too many good works. The Eldoria Queen has very high standards."

Justin stopped speaking. Let her be!

He just felt it was unnecessary, but if she insisted on doing it, Justin wasn’t going to waste his breath. In any case, he wouldn’t be grateful to her, nor would he be moved.

Opening his computer, Justin started replying to emails.

This made the woman standing beside him a bit awkward. Justin exuded an aura of abstinence, which used to deeply attract her, now made her feel hurt.

Was it because of Mia Lane’s presence that he no longer considered her a friend?

"Is there anything else?" Justin looked up and glanced at her.

Monica’s smile returned to her lips, "No, carry on with your work." With that, she turned away, her high heels clicking.

And he did not try to stop her.

As Justin finished responding to an email from Zulmar, Finn Morgan rushed in to report urgently, "President, we’ve found out that R-Alan Group attempted to break through our company’s defense system. Their ultimate target is likely the design department."

Justin had already guessed this, so he wasn’t surprised.

Justin’s eyes grew slightly cold, "I know."

"Our Kingston Group is R-Alan Group’s only competitor in the jewelry industry, especially in recent years when we’ve surpassed them. They’ve been eager to make a comeback. I reckon they’re also trying to get their hands on the Eldoria Royal New Year’s full set design."

"Making a comeback isn’t that easy." Justin’s lips curled slightly, his smile tinged with coldness, "Keep a close watch on their every move."

"Yes."

...

Enlighten Kindergarten, the warm sunlight sprinkled down, gilding the castle-like kindergarten with a golden edge.

The children were playing games on the grass led by the teacher, the sounds of laughter and playing were clear to hear.

Gigi sat alone on a small stone beside the slide, seriously operating a tablet. The little guy occasionally frowned, sometimes his lips curled up; strings of code appeared repeatedly on the screen.

Finally, the screen popped up the word OK!

The little guy flashed a smile as bright as sunshine!

Meanwhile, dozens of kilometers away, at R-Alan Group headquarters, a jumble of code flashed across their server screens, and a few seconds later, it blacked out! No amount of rebooting helped!

"Damn! We’ve been hacked!"

"How is this possible?!"

In the warm sunlight of Enlighten Kindergarten, Miss Mei approached Gigi, "Gigi, why aren’t you playing the games? Is it because you don’t like them?"

"Miss Mei, it’s not that I don’t like them, I’m going right now!" Gigi put the tablet back into his backpack and picked up a nearby baseball cap to wear.

Not far away, two boys surrounded Dolly, blocking her path.

One of them mocked, "I heard you’re from the countryside?"

Dolly blinked her large, bright eyes, "What’s it to you?"

"It’s like a wild chicken entering a phoenix’s nest, do you know what our status is?" the other boy laughed proudly, "I’m just curious how you got into this school?"

Dolly was inherently shy and not good at arguing, so she clenched her little fists, her face flushed.

The boy found it amusing and directly grabbed her hand, teasing, "Hey, tell me about your rural life! Do people there really go a month without bathing, stinking to high heaven?"

"Let go of me!" Dolly struggled, looking up to see Gigi not far away, "Brother! Brother, help me!"
