Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations
Chapter 898: Followed by Justin Kingston
CHAPTER 898: CHAPTER 898: FOLLOWED BY JUSTIN KINGSTON
Mia and Justin glanced at that back figure, then started walking toward the hospital room.
Dennis Hale was tense all the way until he entered the elevator.
In the hospital room, Hailey was getting out of bed in her wedding dress, planning to go home with Finn Morgan.
Before she could take two steps, the door opened again, and Justin and Mia appeared.
Hailey’s eyes widened, and she stopped, "Why are you here too? My dad just left! Did you run into him?"
"Yes." Justin nodded, "We had a brief encounter."
"CEO Kingston, President Lane." Finn Morgan still greeted politely.
"You came to see me too?" Hailey was pleasantly surprised, with a smile on her face.
"How are you?" Mia walked toward her, holding her arm gently, "I was worried. You look beautiful in your wedding dress, such a grown-up."
"Hehe," Hailey was also happy, "I’m fine, no need to be hospitalized at all. I just got kicked in the abdomen. I’m tough, after all, I’ve taken street dance lessons. But Finn insisted on bringing me to the hospital for a check-up."
"It’s good to check. A thorough examination provides peace of mind," Justin said warmly.
"Hailey, Finn," Mia said sincerely, "thank you for saving Gigi and Dolly."
"No need to be so polite!" Hailey was straightforward, "I feel embarrassed. Besides, I was the one taking the kids out. If anything had happened under my watch, how would I take responsibility? I wouldn’t be able to face you, right? So it was my duty to protect them. I had no choice!"
What a righteous girl, Justin thought as he looked at her with a gentle gaze, feeling a sense of regret, though she had a father who was greedy and oblivious.
They didn’t stay in the hospital room for long, and the four of them left together.
But they didn’t ride in the same car, saying goodbye after going downstairs.
Finn Morgan didn’t go to the company either. He stayed at home with Hailey to rest.
Inside the departing Lamborghini, Mia sat next to Justin as he picked up his phone, opened an app, and tracked Dennis Hale’s exact location.
After a moment of thought, Justin dialed his number.
At that moment, Dennis was on his way to the office. The route was a bit congested, and the car wasn’t moving fast.
The ringing phone startled him, and his hand even trembled, because he had just been lost in thought... imagining his own grim fate.
Seeing the caller display, the number nearly scared him into a cold sweat!
Justin Kingston was calling?
He had to answer, taking a deep breath to gather his emotions, and after answering, he put the phone to his ear, "Hello, CEO Kingston."
"Pull over, there’s a Nova Dragon Club nearby. I’ll be there shortly," Justin said and then hung up.
Dennis glanced out the window, indeed seeing a building with the large words ’Nova Dragon Club’. This was Justin’s territory.
The club was famous in Riventhal.
But... how did he know he was near the club?
"Being followed..."
Dennis felt a tightness in his chest, never having been so nervous in his life!
He quickly composed himself and told the driver, "Stop the car, head to the Nova Dragon Club."
"Yes." The driver began to decelerate, steering the car through the club’s first gate.
This was the largest club in Riventhal, under the Kingston Group’s shareholders. Many important international negotiation events had been held here.
Dennis got out of the car, his brow slightly furrowed, walking into the club with a complex feeling, without the driver accompanying him.
"Hello, Mayor Hale. Please follow me." Someone greeted him at the second gate, respectful in tone, yet with a slightly imposing demeanor.
But he knew that Justin had already made arrangements, and it would be impossible to enter without an appointment.
The phone rang again, and Dennis was startled once more. He paced with them, taking out his phone to answer.
Before the other party could speak, he whispered, "Secretary Shaw, I’m busy now. I’ll put my phone on silent. I’ll get back to you later." With that, he hung up and set his phone to silent mode.
