CHAPTER 23: CHAPTER 23: THE SHOW IS ABOUT TO BEGIN

Eleanor Sterling walked out of the main banquet hall.

Her eyes scanned the room, finally locking onto a tall and thin man.

He was a distant relation of the Faulkner Family, depending on a slight blood connection to enjoy many benefits in Veridia City; most importantly, he was notorious for his lustful nature.

The number of women he had toyed with was not few.

Eleanor’s lips curled; she had been kind enough to Faye Sterling, not setting her up with an old man.

Today’s drama will be truly exciting!

Rosalie Ray was still in the banquet hall entertaining guests; she noticed both Faye and Alaric Faulkner were nowhere to be seen, and she slowly lifted the corners of her mouth.

It seems Faye’s situation has been taken care of.

If Alaric truly ended up sleeping with her, the Faulkner Family would soon be led by Faye.

Ideally, she would become pregnant from this encounter, securing her position as Mrs. Faulkner.

She saw Eleanor Sterling wandering around the venue, a glint of contempt and disdain flashing in her eyes.

Once Faye is pregnant, she plans to get rid of Jeanette Jennings’ obnoxious daughter; just seeing her is irritating.

Eleanor approached Shane Faulkner, saying lazily, "Mr. Faulkner, have time for a chat?"

Shane turned to look at Eleanor, initially stunned, then broke into a smile.

He had noticed this woman when she arrived; her face was beautiful, and her figure alluring.

"Miss Sterling, if you’re asking, I definitely have time. Where would you like to chat?"

Shane’s looks were passable, not distasteful, but in comparison to Alaric, who was a paragon, he was worlds apart, seeming oily and pretentious.

"Why not... upstairs?" Eleanor blinked.

The implication in that suggestion was strong.

Watching Eleanor’s lively expression, Shane felt his blood rush throughout his body.

Though Eleanor’s reputation in Veridia City wasn’t great, Shane never looked beyond appearance when pursuing women; Eleanor was beautiful enough for him to overlook everything else.

"I’ll be waiting upstairs," Eleanor chuckled lightly, turning away.

Watching Eleanor’s graceful departing silhouette, Shane licked his lips.

Such a beauty!

He imagined pinning Eleanor beneath him, making her beg him to satisfy her.

With this image in his mind, Shane couldn’t contain himself.

He eagerly moved his feet, heading to the second floor of The Sterling Family’s residence.

Eleanor deliberately left Faye’s room door slightly ajar, easily noticeable.

Inside the room, a phone was already set up, pointed right at Faye, capturing everything.

Her lips curved into a cold smile.

The main event was about to unfold.

Very soon, Shane entered Faye’s room.

At this moment, Faye’s whole body was flushed red like a ripe shrimp, writhing uncontrollably.

Shane gulped, impatiently lunging forward, "Little beauty, I’m here."

Faye had long felt a hollow void within her; with Shane’s approach, she started pulling at his clothes.

Shane panted heavily, bending his head to assist, "Don’t rush, I’ll certainly take good care of you in a bit."

Eleanor returned to the banquet hall, picked up a fruit platter, found a spot with an excellent view, and focused on the enormous projection screen.

She popped a piece of melon into her mouth, counting silently.

Five, four, three, two, one.

With a click, as Eleanor reached one in her count, the projection screen smoothly activated.

Shane’s voice came through, "You’re really slutty..."

Faye had already lost her senses, continuing to eagerly undress Shane.

In the grand garden, it suddenly became completely silent; everyone was stunned, staring at the large screen.
